Can you believe July 4th is next week? If you’re craving some red, white, and blue food fun for your Independence Day celebration, I have a round-up of patriotic and party treats for your Star-Spangled Celebration!
Click on the links in red for the complete recipe or details.
A quick and easy side for your 4th of July menu and backyard BBQ! Feel free to pass the potatoes since this potato salad is light and healthy~ dressed with fresh herbs, olive oil and vinegar and liberated from mayonnaise and eggs!
Enjoy these biscuits two ways: For breakfast/ brunch, served with Basil-Honey Butter, and for dessert, layered with whipped cream and berries as a patriotic shortcake!
If you’re not familiar with slab pie, it’s a shallow pie that’s baked in jelly roll pan or rimmed baking sheet. It serves more people than your standard 9-inch pie with much less effort. Less work makes for an ideal holiday dessert and more time for celebrating the Red, White and Blueberry!
No ice cream maker required for this easy dessert~ a perfect treat for the lazy days of summer.
However you celebrate, spend a few moments to remember and give thanks for our military men and women, whose service and sacrifice allows us to live in freedom.
Wishing you a Safe & Happy Independence Day, with Liberty & Potato Salad for All!

Je vous souhaite un bon week- end et une très belle fête de l’indépendance des Etats Unis ! En France, nous fêterons le 14 juillet avec un joli feu d’artifice !!!

Hi Mary-I’ve been perusing your various yummy recipes this morning. So far, I’ve only had breakfast & a fresh fruit snack but after reading so many of the recipes I’m ready for lunch & it’s not 10:30 yet! LOL I think I shall try the layered berry cake, watermelon lemonade, & with the heat, the frozen pup treats will be for people too. I’m going to look for some little buckets today to put freedom fries in as you pictured. They are so cute! Thank you for all the tasty recipes & clever serving ideas! Wishing you a safe, happy 4th! Clara 🇺🇸 🍉 ☺️ ❤️
