Weekend Waterview: Dog Gone Happy To See The Sun

Happy *Sun* Day! The clouds finally parted with the rain moving out after a very wet and cold week. We’re happy to see the sun again!

The “pond” is full again after 5 inches of rain this week bringing most of the leaves down with it.

We’re a little wild and stir crazy after a week indoors and dog gone happy to be outside again. . .

And in need of a grooming appointment!

I always love seeing the steam fog rising off the water this time of year. . .

When the water temperature is warmer than the air.

Looking a little mysterious and magical.

And cold!

We bundled up for a pontoon ride. . .

Taking some blankets and wearing our furry coats. 🐾🐾

We have a dry week ahead with some welcome sunshine in the forecast and temperatures in the low 60s for Thanksgiving week.

Hope you’re enjoying a little sunshine where you are!

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

It is so wonderful to have some Carolina Blue skies and sunshine. Still really soggy around the yard but did finally plant about 200 tulip bulbs and the rest of my pansies Thank you for the great pictures and writing . Love reading it. Happy Thanksgiving

Yep!! Sun today…cold but sun!! We don’t have natural fur coats. Therefore, we have to put on our faux ones! Enjoy the sun for this time of year it’s fleeting!! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

I laughed out loud when I saw little Lola airborne! They are both precious, but she still has so much baby in her that it makes your heart melt. Enjoy the lake this week and Happy Thanksgiving!

A little sunshine yesterday, but cold and dreary today. Hopefully the sun will break through by afternoon cause I have some plans for out in the garden. Yesterday was a clean up day from the recent freeze, and now I need to get the cyclamen planted.
Smiling at your flying Bichon Frise! Lola’s enthusiasm is adorable. Enjoy the sunshine.

Beautiful pictures! I love your two sweeties, they are adorable. I have a quick question if you have time to answer it. All of your beautiful decorations, plates, silverware, napkins, table settings – they are so incredible. Do you buy things new each year or have you had most of these beautiful things for many years? I would like to begin to get a few things like this, but feel overwhelmed just thinking about it! I guess a good time would be to purchase things after the holiday passed – but sometimes there is not much left to choose from. Anyway I just wanted to say how gorgeous all of your posts are. I really enjoy the holiday ones and of course anything with the puppies. Thanks for spreading joy!

Glad the clouds have departed and the sun is out for you again! I have been house bound too, but it was because of a respitory infection. Thankfully, I am better now and can enjoy counting my blessings with our family on Thanksgiving. Mary, I am thankful for all you share through your wonderful prose and pictures, especially your adorable pets. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I know your pups keep you hopping, Mary! It’s such fun to see them frolicking and enjoying life. I’m glad that you had a wonderful Sunday. It was cold and gloomy here today, but I’m warm and cozy sipping on a cup of ginger cranberry vanilla tea. xx

Loved seeing little Lola’s excitement as she runs to the boat with four paws off the dock. Brings a big smile to my face. We too had sunshine today after lots and lots of rain last week. I took the opportunity to work in my garden this afternoon. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. I gave the turkey serving set to my young friends yesterday. They were both thrilled so again thank you so much.

I’m having a hard time keeping the two fur babies apart now! Love those flying leaps you caught, and the steam on the water. What a wonderful pastime.

Oh be still my heart, such gorgeous photos of the lake and your pooches! How did you ever capture those happy leaps! Yes, I felt just like that Friday after a cold week of rain and snow! Heading South today, hoping for a sunny week with temps near 70
