‘Made with Love’ Blooming Candy Jar

Create a ‘Made with Love’ Blooming Candy Jar. An easy and affordable gift and way to share some love with a friend, co-worker or teacher for Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day is just a few days away, the perfect excuse to celebrate with candy and flowers!

A brand new Dollar Tree opened nearby a couple of weeks ago. It’s always fun to shop in a new store, when everything is fully stocked and tidy! I found Made with Love Mason Jars there, a perfect vessel for creating a Blooming Candy Vase for Valentine’s Day!

In addition to the Made with Love Jar, I used a small bud vase that I had. You could use any vase or glass that’s small enough to nest inside the jar.

Use the candy of your choice to fill between the walls of your vase and jar. I used Valentine M&M’s.

I placed a plastic grocery bag inside the inner vase, to keep it candy-free while filling the vase. . .

Remove the bag after the jar is filled with candy and add your water and flowers.

I used some alstroemeria and mini pink carnations from the grocery store, both long-lasting blooms. Tie some ribbon around your jar and your Blooming Candy Jar is ready to give to a friend, co-worker or teacher!

Tip: Fill your inner vase only 1/2 – 2/3 full with water for so it won’t slosh or spill on the candy during transportation. The inner vase can be easily removed and candy enjoyed when your flowers are spent.

Your candy bouquet is still ‘made with love’ even if you can’t find this jar or don’t have a Dollar Tree near you! Use any mason jar and customize this blooming candy bouquet for your occasion or holiday as a sweet and easy gift.

♥ Happy Valentine’s Day ♥

Now that is just the cutest thing, Mary!!!! I wonder if my Dollar Tree has those jars?? Even if they don’t, I could still use a jar that I have. It is darling! I bought myself some pretty pink roses at Aldi, and I may have to try this. Thank you! xxoo

Mary you made my day. This is the perfect cheer, morale booster I have been wracking my brain for. My sweet neighbor found out cancer has taken over her body. We are visiting her on Valentine’s Day and this darling flower arrangement is the perfect size, happy colors, and I cannot thank you enough!
    God Bless You.

Even Mr. P. commented to me the other day, “you’re not in buying mode right now, are you?”, but those little jars sure make me want to run to the Dollar Store. Super cute!

I practically ran to the Dollar Store for the Made With Love jars!! Home Goods had red & white chocolate coved sunflower seeds which I used instead of M&M’s. They really came out cute. I had my little granddaughters help me make one so they could give it to their mother for Valentine’s Day. Thank you for your wonderful ideas. You are so creative & I look forward to your posts!!

I was wondering if you would happen to have 8 of these jars left, my daughter has 7 and needs 8 more for her wedding in August and she is head over heels with the center piece she created with the others. I would be willing to pay 5 dollars each. Trying to be a great Dad and help her find them .. Thank You

Hi, I only had one jar. You would want to contact Dollar Tree to see if they had any stock left.
