I can’t wait for Spring in full bloom around my neighborhood. Your pictures make me happy!
Mary, Your flowers in your potting shed are the perfect dose of spring this morning! What a feast for my winter-dreary eyes! I’m loving the vibrant colors and beautiful dishes. I think I need to look for some JB Garden Bouquets on eBay. Thank you for the beauty you share, I always leave happy and uplifted when I visit. ♥
This is so uplifting and breath of fresh air after our “damp season”! If you are looking for vintage silverplate flateware…Restore in Denver has several patterns as well as serving pieces!
I am so very happy to see your Spring Blooms in the Potting Shed today!….the Potting Shed is the perfect place to kick of Spring!! Spring….such a happy time and your beautiful display of Spring blooms certainly brings us the most high degree of Happy! Who wouldn’t want to grab a seat at the table and sit among the flowers and beautiful display of dishes. My heart skipped a beat when saw the Clarice Cliff Charlotte plate! I cannot imagine how wonderful the shed smells! I so look forward to this years’ happenings in the Potting Shed! Mary, so happy to participate in Monday Morning Blooms with you…such a most beautiful way to start off the week!…Have a wonderful day and enjoy the flowers!!!
I have been thinking about you all week, glad you have so much beauty to surround you. Spring finally cracked the door this week, but two more weeks of rain due mid week, it’s pure joy glimpsing color again! I adore urns filled with flowers, and all your pretty touches. I think I have your sign some where, probably rusting in all our rain!
I love to come to your potting shed for tabletop and flower fun, Mary. This is all so inviting. I just love the spring mix of bulbs you’re sharing. My peony survived the winter, and the daylilies are also sprouting….they’re awaiting transplant. ;)
Mary, it feels so good to be back in your potting shed! I can imagine when you open the door the fragrance is amazing. Your blooming plates add so much beauty to all of the delightful spring bulbs…tulips, hyacinths, and iris! I would be so happy to sit and enjoy all of the spring color at your table. We are supposed to be rain free this week, what a welcome change, but frost could happen in the morning. I hope my snowballs and Lady Banks won’t be impacted. It is always a pleasure to share Monday Morning Blooms with you! Wishing you a bloom-filled week as we welcome the arrival of spring!
I’m ready for that Spring smell of the Spring flowers!! Dishes!! I could talk about dishes all day!! Love them all! I wish I had a set of the Johnson ones but have never been able to afford..but last year, I splurged and bought the Lenox Butterfly Meadow..I just love them…as soon as it was March, I put my transfer ware away and brought out the Lenox!! Can’t wait to see the remainder of the Flower hop!! 🌸🌺💐🌼🌻🌿🌾
Spring has really sprung in your Potting Shed Mary! Wow, a flower buffet! It is so bright and cheerful, and yay for a week of Spring sunshine! You not only have the beautiful fresh flowers but flowers on everything in sight, a flower lovers dream!

It is so lovely to see blooming flowers. We still have lots of snow on the ground here in Michigan, so this makes my Monday happy.
Simply beautifully created.
Lovely! My hyacinths are blooming now, so fragrant!! We are warming up in the mountains this weekend, and I am ready for spring!!
I was so happy to see your potting shed again, Mary! Your blooming fresh flowers and the flowers are dishes make me smile. I love all three of your dish patterns and how you mixed them up. Thank you for the Springtime happiness!
OMGoodness, I wish I could be there to smell the delightful hyacinths in the potting shed!!! It must be heavenly! Your table is truly blooming with happiness and fragrance! I totally agree that the scent of Spring would be hyacinths! LOVE the dishes and watering can napkin rings. Wed. will be my happy day:) Have a beautiful day, Mary!
Sp pretty Mary. I love your garden shed and you always make it look so special. Spring is definitely on the way and all your blooms (plates and real) are gorgeous.
Beautiful!!! All the gorgeous flowers and pretty dinnerware puts me in a spring mood on this dreary day.
Mary, I always enjoy your potting shed vignettes, both inside and out. Aren’t hyacinths the best! I can almost smell them and can’t wait until mine are blooming! Happy gardening… soon!
GORGEOUS!!! Your photos are a breath of fresh air! Thank you so for sharing…what a blessing your blog is!!
I am so very happy to visit your beautiful Potting Shed again Mary! The Potting Shed is the perfect place to welcome spring with open arms, and your table certainly does that. What a gorgeous combination of Spring’s best bulb flowers in cheerful colors and two of my favorite dish designs, the Clarice Cliff Charlotte is especially beloved. So pretty in that lavender, isn’t it? Mary, I would so love to join you there, but it is already a huge blessing to join you every Monday Morning Blooms day, sweet friend.
Mary, your mix and match patterns are always spot on. I am not so sure I could pull it off the way you do. Thank you for all your inspiration! Love all the spring flowers you used. Can’t wait as it has been a long winter here and now surrounding communities are dealing w/ flooding.
Mary, The Potting Shed is a welcome sight with all the beautiful Spring flowers & plates. The urn is perfect & a favorite of mine. Your sign is perfect! Looking forward to sunshine this week. Happy Spring! Clara 🌷🌞❤️
Mary, just the thought of your hyacinths are filling my senses with delight. I need to make a trip to Trader Joe’s today to see if they have some in stock. It is still nippy here, but the sun is out. I hope to pot some double white impatients I found yesterday. Rarely find the double whites, so I bought all they had. Still need two more to complete the bed, but it’s a start. Thanks as always for the inspiration for spring. Tulips and hyacinths make my day. Add in beautiful dishes and you’ve hit it out of the ballpark! Charlotte is a favorite pattrn here. Ours are in brown. I love the lavender. Happy Week!
Oh thank you Mary! I love how the sun shines through the Potting Shed window, I love the purple tulips, I love all the bulbs, the colors, beautiful dishes, pretty tools…what a joy!
It’s definitely Spring by you—high of 30 something here today—hopefully tomorrow will bring a few more degrees.
I love every single thing, individually and collectively. I’ll revisit this post to study it more
STUNNING!! Should be on several magazine covers.
Seeing your spring-filled potting shed is a visual tonic for my winter-weary eyes! Thank you.
Wow, I can’t believe you found all those flowers blooming Mary! I haven’t seen any here yet, enjoy them:@)

Marilyn
Love love, love always love your posts!
I have a few pieces of china pattern called June by Royal Staffordshire with similar purple (almost) flowers styled like yours. I’ll be adding them to my spring table, but I think it can go w autumnal colors as well
Mary, Mary, how your garden grows! Love the spring flower display in our favorite garden shed. I can almost smell those beautiful hyacinths! I checked my flower bed that has the most spring flowers and sure enough , I see a few little green sprouts poking through! Makes me do a happy dance! We are pleased for the mid 40 degree weather we will be having this week! A real delight for Michiganders this time of year when we typically could have snow. I envy your southern spring, by the time our spring arrives you are almost to summer, ha! Beautiful flowers, lovely dishes, Thank you! ⚘🌾⚘
You are SO creative – you’ve given me so many useful ideas – thank you!
Thank you, also, for always sharing the source, even if it’s no longer available.
Can you share where you got all the cast iron (or what looks like cast iron) stuff – bunnys, birds urns, etc…? Are they antiques, garage sale finds, or from places like Pottery Barn?
Thank you! I was in retail 25+ years ago, so a lot of the garden items were purchased wholesale for my shop.
Making your day, well now, you’ve made my day looking at all those flowers and decor. You do put me in a good good mood. And inspire me ever so much.
No blooms around my neck of the woods. Still getting 25 degree weather over night and squeaking up to around 40ish. Here’s a lotta bloomin’ love to you. jpd
Stunning Spring Blooms in your beautiful gardening shed!
Love love love!
Do you and your husband eat at The Little breakfast bar? Your “stuff” is so pretty. I have Johnson Brothers Bouquet.
