Floral Meadow Easter Table and Blooming Bunnies

Hop down the Bunny Trail with an Easter table in celebration with Floral Meadow plates, blooming bunnies and mini chocolate bunny egg cups! Additionally, you’ll find Easter table inspiration from 23 table stylists and bloggers.

Easter is three weeks away and in anticipation, I’m hopping down the Bunny Trail to join an Easter Tablescape Blog Hop!

You’ll find links for Easter table inspiration from 23 table stylists this week at the bottom of this post.

I’m always happy when Easter falls later in April. It gives me more time to enjoy Easter eggs and bunnies and coincides with the azaleas and dogwoods in bloom here in North Carolina.

Bunnies are blooming at my table in anticipation of Easter. . .

They’re blooming with a combination of tulips, hyacinths, sprigs of forsythia, along with some speckled eggs tucked in among the flowers.

I added a bunny to my “fluffle” this year. . .he hopped into my cart at HomeGoods several weeks ago.

The basket on his back providing a little vase for flowers.

Floral Meadow Salad Plates and napkin rings are new this year. . .

I’ve been hoarding a gift card from Williams-Sonoma since Christmas and took advantage of a 20% off coupon with free shipping offer.

When searching for a tablecloth, I chose a favorite floral one to pair with the bunny dishes and flowers. If you’ve followed my blog, you know I don’t shy away from combining patterns! I often get comments that the tablecloth looks too busy or distracting, so I apologize if it hurts your eyes. ;) It doesn’t look as busy as in person as it photographs for some reason. 🌷 🐇🌸🐇🌼

Mini Lindt Gold Milk Chocolate Bunnies came in a convenient 5 pack –>  4 for each placesetting and 1 for the tablescaper. 🐰

They’re nesting in a floral egg cups filled with paper shred “grass”.

A pitcher is filled with more hyacinths, tulips and forsythia, along with stems of pussy willow and iris.

Speckled egg jelly beans provide more sweet treats, placed in white bunny dishes at the table.

It is wonderful when you can gather blooms from outdoors and use them to brighten your home or as you have done, your table! I don’t know why I have such a soft spot for bunnies, but I do. Your sweet bunnies make perfect vases for bringing those fragrant blooms to the table. Thank you for sharing your table styling talents with us once again! Happy Easter!

How beautiful! I love the way you mix pattern and color…ignore those who say otherwise. More is more in my book, especially with holiday decor (witness the sign I got my hubby who dared to suggest otherwise…”There is too much sparkle, said no one EVER!”

This table is so beautiful. Just the right touch of color, design and lovely patterns that compliment each other. I’ve never seen any table that you’ve designed that wasn’t beautiful. Never distracting or OTT. You are so talented and artistic. I have seen some that have everything but the kitchen sink on their tables! Yours are always a beautiful inspiration.

I love how your mix patterns and colors. It’s a treat for me to see your combinations. I’ve often said that I wish Mary would come to my house and arrange my shelves and try out combinations of linens and dishes.

Oh Mary, I don’t think it’s too busy at all, rather it’s a feast for the eyes! So wonderful to see all your beautiful spring blooms and your photography is fabulous. Don’t know where you store all your new purchases — do you ever part with anything? Visiting Home Goods is always ‘dangerous’ for me ’cause I never leave empty handed!

I love the egg cups. Must do that one. I also love color, the browns and beige’s have had their day and need to move on. My eye is very happy with your mixing up the flowers on the table and the really pretty freshly pressed table cloths. Keep up the good work.

  34. April 2, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Mary, you have the most beautiful flowers for your lovely tablescape. They are equally exquisite. The bright, vibrant colors really capture the beauty of your tablecloth. And even though the flowers take center stage, they certainly enhance the sweetness of your bunny plates and bunny napkin rings too. Absolutely charming!

Mary, it is all too beautiful! It’s like bunny paradise for the adorable bunnies on your table. They are the happy wonderful stars of the table so happily embellished with the pretty spring flowers and Easter candy goodies!

  39. April 2, 2019 at 7:52 pm

I have been following you for years, and I love everything you do. There is a beauty and joy in each post. It just makes my day every time I look at the things you do. I found those floral meadow salad plates last year at Williams-Sonoma and had to have them. Sadly, we lost our home and all of our things in the 2017 Tubbs Fire,(I can’t complain, my family made it out safely, even grabbing some family photos, which is more than most of my friends got), so finding something with blue and white for Easter, which is what I’ve always loved, made me so happy. If I can, I’ll try to post a picture of our tablescape to my FB page. I’ve admired your talent for a long time. Keep up the gorgeous work.

  40. April 2, 2019 at 10:29 pm

Mary, I love hopping down the bunny trail with you. Your tables are without question filled with delight. I love the white bunny with his basket. Over the years several bunnies with baskets have followed me home because as you’ve done on your table, they are perfect for flowers. Hippity Hop Hooray!

  41. April 3, 2019 at 11:56 am

Love it all! But especially the gold chocolate bunnies in the egg cups! I have some egg cups. I am borrowing that idea!

  42. April 3, 2019 at 7:27 pm

Mary, the fresh blooms on your table are gorgeous! And I love the bunnies. I don’t blame you for letting one hop into your carriage at Homegoods! And the tablecloth is not busy…it’s vibrant and beautiful. I also bought some of those Lindt chocolate bunnies for my tablescape, but my five year old daughter got the 5th one! So happy to be hopping with you. Happy Easter!

Absolutely stunning as usual! I love your bouquet so very much, tulips are my most favorite of all flowers and they are so lovely with the hyacinth, forsythia and little eggs. I am like you, I love when Easter is in April as more flowers have bloomed and the weather is more likely to be springy.

The tablecloth is stunning and your sweet dishes and bunnies are delightful. You have a gift Mary!

So happy to hop with you this week. I hope you have a delightful Easter!
