She says she’s happy to pose for photos if there are treats involved!🐾
I had to laugh as I was taking these photos. . .
For such a happy little dog, she takes posing for photos very seriously . . .
She’s so focused on her next treat, she’s not even aware she’s wearing bunny ears. 🐇 This is her “treats-are-serious-business” expression. . .it’s the same with or without bunny ears :)
She’s had some separation anxiety since we lost Gracie. She loves to ride in the car with me if I’m running errands and walking around Lowe’s. . .(if only HomeGoods would allow dogs on a leash. ;) I found a doggie daycare nearby so she can play with other dogs if I have an appointment and am going to be gone for more than a couple of hours.
She had to have a temperament test and be evaluated to see how well she “plays with others” 🐾 🐾 on her first visit and I got her “report card”. . .
Apparently doggie daycare is serious business too. ;)
Posing for treats is oh so exhausting. . .
And so is a day spent at doggie daycare. . .

Happy Easter! Love your little Lola! I take my ten pound poodle into Homegood’s in Savannah all the time. She rides in the cart like a champ. I researched their corporate website and it clearly says it’s a dog friendly store. Maybe try her in the cart. TJ Max and Marshall’s are dog friendly too. World Market is the only big box store that I’ve found to not be.

Love the bunny ears! 🐇 I’ve seen small pups in purses @ our HomeGoods but Lola would probably enjoy doggy daycare more as she could be more active & social. Happy Easter, Mary and Lola! I had to giggle at Lola’s report card. We took Sadie for a day at Doggie Day Care for a trial day. Her report was all positive though it stated she was a wall flower during free play time. She prefered to sit with the care givers rather than play with the group. They said she also wanted to be carried when moving through the halls. Ha! I took that to be the positive way of saying she put the brakes on and didn’t want to move. She is definitely a homebody! Lola is adorable, and I know she fills your heart with joy. I’m happy you added Lola to your family. I know the hurt of loss is still painful. Sending you hugs from Texas.

FYI: Our Home Goods here in Central Florida allows dogs if they are in a shopping cart, being held by their owners, or in one of those “doggy strollers.” Maybe you should ask if you can bring Lola with you one of those ways. I love her new “big girl” cut, by the way.

Awwwwww, it’s hard when they are used to having another dog around…but the doggy daycare report card is so adorable..you may have to frame those, lol.
Hi Mary, our pup Bacio (Italian for Kisses) loves to go to daycare for the camaraderie of other pup friends. They have so many activities (very creative ones) each time he goes. Even birthday parties with all their classmates. He goes the day a week I teach all day, and it’s a great way to make sure he’s as tired as I am at the end of day! My husband loves to read his report cards each week!
