Looks so tranquil, peaceful and easy living … I have been weedwhacking for fire prevention to the point of numb arms and staggering legs, lake living looks good! I yearn for sundresses, straw hats, iced tea and a good book in the garden, my iris are blooming but to frantic to rest until weeds are gone.
Beautiful landscape of florals! I can’t believe the pollen though! We’re in the infancy of spring here. I am enjoying getting outside once again! Happy Sunday Mary!
We keep hoping but it snowed here again last night in Michigan! My daffs are drooping! It’s beautiful sunshine today. I’m hoping they will rebound quickly.
Beautiful Mary!! You are about a month ahead of us here in Maine. We too have been soooo rainy and cold. 40’s and 50’s….we are ready for you to send us some warmth to New England!!
Love the Viburnums and Bridal veil shrubs but the wind here is contributing to their dimise also. Lost a sixty foot pine Friday night and never even heard it fall . The white tulips are gone but my mock orange is just coming out along with the roses, iris and clematis Peonies will open this week. All is good. Had a visitor at my bird feeder yesterday, a gorgeous male Rose Breasted Grosbeak stopping for a meal on his way to his nesting area up north. Such a spring time treat.
Beautiful photos Mary! We are actually enjoying a glorious spring this year! So many years it seems we go from winter to summer. The pollen has been bad but the colorful blooms make it worth it as long as as you have allergy medicine! I love bird chirping weather & alfresco dining. Have a great day! Clara 💖🐦🦋
Mary, your beautiful blooming shrubs could be a sales brochere for garden centers. Each view full of color and incredible spring beauty. I think living lakeside would be a wonderful life. I miss our days on the water with our Hyacinths for the Soul. Those were young and carefree days, every free parcel of time on the water. I’m still at work in the garden. It is never ending, as you well know. Today, I need to fertilize and go to the garden center to find more annuals to add now that the temps are warming. I love visiting a garden center! There are so many temptations and promises for the days to come. Happy Sunday!
Sailboats are everywhere today. Gorgeous day.We are thrilled to see the arrival of an osprey family on a structure my husband built many years ago.
It is so interesting to watch. Humming birds too along with Purple Martins.
Beautiful images, Mary. Hope the pollen is soon over. Would love to be sitting in your Adirondack chairs gazing at the lake and watching the world go by!
Happy Sunday.
I am enjoying some water view therapy this week too Mary, there is nothing sweeter than the arrival of Spring! Your blooms with Lake Norman in the background are so beautiful!! 🌷🌸

Beautiful pictures! Yes it’s been nice here in South Georgia but we’re about to kill our selves working in the yard every Saturday.
