I use my Everything Mary Deluxe Store and Tote for my flower arranging supplies. I used to keep my supplies in a clear storage bin, but invariably what I needed would be at the bottom of the bin, so I’d have to take everything out to find what I needed. I love the compartments and pockets on this tote, as well as the handles that make it easy for me to grab and go, including outdoors.

You are so right about wanting something at the bottom of the container. I never thought of it, but it happens every time :(. I would use that fabulous tote for flower arranging and use your picks to stock it. I love your flower arrangements! Since i found your blog and starting following it I think my arrangements are so much better. This is especially helpful now that I have moved to a small town where fresh flowers are difficult to find. Your tips on using produce and garden greenery have made a huge difference and I love fresh flowers, they make me so happy! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful tips and ideas. Your arrangements always make me smile. Plus I love your puppies:)

  5. September 9, 2019 at 7:16 am

My first thought would be to use it for sewing and quilting supplies, but after reading your post with such good ideas, I would probably use as you suggested. Those are very good tips and I might do more floral arranging if I had everything handy.

What a wonderful post and give away, which is so appropriately named. Your advice and hints have been so helpful since I first started following you. I have use quite a few of the ones you mentioned today, and they have certainly made me a better flower arranger. I would love to win the tote as so many of your followers would but since I was fortunate enough to win the patriotic Mason Jars will not enter and let someone else be the lucky winner. I did pin the A Just Because Arrangement to my Fall Arrangements and Decor Board. Our house is going to be on the historic homes tour the last weekend in this month and I just may try to duplicate it as well as your fall table setting.

Hi Mary. A tote like that would be wonderful. I am always in awe of your clever, creative arrangements and often think of my sweet mother whistling softly under her breath as she arranged flowers. Apparently, it is not an inherited gene. Perhaps if I had the correct supplies where I could find them, it would give me a fighting chance to improve in that endeavor. Thank you for your generous offer and your blog which always makes my day.

I would put all my garden tools in it. I just had a birthday and my husband wanted to buy me something to put everything in it to keep it all together. His solution: a bucket from Lowe’s or Home depot with a top. Ugh. He tries.
At 75+ It is very sweet to even think of a solution. This would solve the problem and save hurt feelings.

I probably need two though so that I could have another for my gardening tools as well! Beautiful and useful like me!!😄

Thank you Mary for brightening my days !! Pinned and shared on FB

  71. basketpam
    September 9, 2019 at 10:40 am

I actually would probably use it for flower arranging and gardening. I have totes, containers and especially baskets for most other things. (I sold Longaberger for 17 years). My dad’s friends have even teased him over the years when they have discovered I have a basket toolbox. Something I NEVER tried to get him to do, I knew better than that. I even learned a few things reading this article on using the vegetable peeler for woody stems. That never occurred to me and I LOVE the idea of a use for the netting in which my lemons and other citrus arrives in from the market. I always place it in recycling. As for the one I would choose, there is no question, no competition, its the blue. My favorite color is navy blue and my favorite combination is navy and white. As there isn’t any in that shade, blue and white is the next choice. I like black (mostly in clothes) but otherwise it shows dirt too badly.

  72. September 9, 2019 at 10:45 am

What a wonderful post and a beautiful tote! I would choose the solid black tote. I’m a long time subscriber. Have a great day!

Since reading your blog I have learned sooo many wonderful tips and gotten so many creative ideas, that I have been forced to purchase even more tools and items to make some lovely arrangements, thanks to you!! I would love the Everything Mary tote to use exactly as you do. If I don’t win one I will probably have no other choice, but to buy one! Please keep your wonderful ideas and informative tips coming, along with the precious pictures of your dogs. I totally enjoy your blog.

Mary, I love these tips for flower arranging as I have over 50+ vintage vases and teapots that I have collected to use for flower arrangements! Your bouquets are always so unique and made with love. The tote for keeping all your tools neat and at hand is brilliant. I actually use a larger one when gardening outdoors for all my planting supplies but never thought to use a smaller one for flower arranging! I would love to have one or at least know where you can purchase them.
    Thanks for all your

    Hi Mary!
Love that tote. Never thought of the vegetable peeler for the stems! Great idea!
I’d use the tote to take my supplies back and forth to the charitable organization where I volunteer. I plan the events, cook and do the tables and decorating. I’m carrying all my supplies back and forth in a plastic bag!
Even though I no longer blog I’m putting all my “stuff” to good use doing events for veterans, scholarships and Cerebral Palsy. They are amazed that I have so much in the way of accouterments!😊. I know you can relate.
It was good therapy for me after Mike died and now I’m cooking and decorating irl instead of just on the net! Keeps me very busy.
Miss all of my blogging friends, many good memories. Stay well! I still enjoy reading your posts in my email, you are amazing.

Hi Mary, If I was lucky enough to win the ‘Everything Mary Tote’ I would give it to my son. He worked for a florist and an event planning shop as a part time job. That shop has since closed. He will be doing all the flowers for his cousin’s wedding and this tote would help out immensely. He wants to continue making floral arrangements, swags etc. He eventually wants to quit his full time job and open a floral shop of his own, I love the idea of the vegetable peeler for stripping the stems! I will have to tell him about it. Thank you for all you share: all your posts, ideas and giveaways.

I also pinned a few of your arrangements on Pinterest.

I am on the Flower Guild at my church and I love your creative touch with making such beautiful arrangements. I pinned so many of them-most of them to various boards such as Terrific Tabletops, Clever Ideas and Flower my World. You are not only create magic with the way you arrange the flowers, fruit and containers but you are a terrific photographer too.
I would use the blue and white tote for stationery supplies I think-my stamps, stationery, stickers, etc. although could be gardening or flower arranging too.

Dear Mary – I have gardens filled with flowers and greenery. I love making arrangements but don’t get around to making them often enough and after reading about how you use the Everything Mary Tote I realized one of the main reasons why. I don’t have my flower arranging tools and supplies neatly organized all in one place. I would love to have one of these totes to fill with all the supplies that you have recommended. But I wouldn’t stop there. I just got back from a long trip and was wishing I had a bag with many compartments for my toiletries and make-up. I would just slip one of these bags inside a larger bags that zips and when I’m ready to use it I would remove it from the larger bag and wah la -nice handle to tote it around with and everything right there in front of me. Of course I would want one for garden tools. It’s also a wonderful gift in itself but how fun it would be to fill it with just about anything, especially if you keep with a theme. You always come up with the greatest and fun things – thanks again Mary!

I would use the tote constantly, and it would keep me from foraging through all my supplies if centered in one place. I have girl luncheons for around 20 people, and love different themes for each. Have been trying to get more people involved but they are intimidated. Maybe if I gave them flower arranging tips and demos , it would encourage them.

Love the bag and your blog!! Your give aways are always so nice. I would use the bag for my craft supplies. I just recently started making deco mesh wreaths and all my supplies are in a plastic storage box.

Mary–I pinned several pictures from this post (actually my pintrest account looks like your blog since I always pin several pictures from every post! LOL) This time I pinned the picture showing the contents of your tote, the picture of the mesh bag frog, and the one using chicken wire for flower arranging. You are always sooo inspiring!

Thank you Mary, for another awesome giveaway! I would fill the tote with similar items such as you have & I would GIFT it to my adorable sister-in-law who is a young mom, on a tight budget, who is aspiring to grow her garden & flowers into a small local business in my little hometown. She definitely has a gift & a special touch, just like you do!
I have shared your site / blog with her. :-)

A Post with everything in one place! Ideas and tools. If I won the tote, I would stock it exactly as you have done. I dithered a bit about which pattern, but the black and white one could sit on my black and white front porch. I change the accent color from pink in the spring to yellow in the summer, orange in the fall, and red in the winter, so if I want to leave the tote there year round, I will have to use black and white. But even if I don’t win the give-away, I feel like I have won the lottery with all the great ideas in this post.

Hi Mary, The tote bags are so pretty! I would use my bag for all my flower arranging gadgets, along with my craft items such as glue sticks, glue gun, etc. I have rolls of floral tape, string, bamboo sticks in my kitchen drawers and it’s not organized at all. This bag would take care of the mess and keep everything at my fingertips. Thank you for the give away, I always enjoy your photos and ideas.

Love this post! So many great ideas. Have been following you for a while and always look forward to your post. i pinned the Flower Arranging Tips & Tricks to my Floral Pinterest board. I would give this great tote to my daughter. She is now making arrangements for events she host and it would be great for her to have all of her supplies organized.

Each of your floral arrangements are so breathtakingly beautiful and you make it look so manageable. I enjoyed the tips you shared too. I would probably use this tote to store my favorite gardening books and all of the gardening related plant tags, pictures, articles, etc. that I save. I thought about using it to store garden tools, gloves, etc. but I would be afraid it would get all dirty. It’s so pretty as is.

Well you have completely changed my mind. I thought fabric or all the color pencils, felt tips and color books. But now I think I can make a fall bouquet, so I like all the craft ideas you had, plus paint to spray the pots.
