Happy or Hoppy đ° Tuesday! Spring is a couple of weeks away (at least by the calendar :) and in anticipation, I’m part of a Spring Tablescape Blog Hop.
Youâll find more spring table inspiration from 25 bloggers and table stylists at the bottom of this post.
Bunnies are blooming at the table in anticipation of spring.
For a centerpiece for the table, I started with a pair of bunnies with baskets.
To arrange the flowers and support the stems, I used a favorite flower arranging method and tool, chicken wire, as the wire is reusable.
Any chicken wire will work but I like using the coated or painted variety as it doesn’t rust in your vase water. Cut your chicken wire wider and longer than your container, so you have a several inches of wire on all sides of your container to bend inside and hold the wire securely in place. If needed, use waterproof floral tape to secure your wire to your container.
Pink and yellow tulips, yellows roses and a few ruffled carnations were recycled from myMonday Morning Blooms Floral Arrangement with Citrus. I picked up a $4 bunch of alstroemeria to refresh the bunny bouquets.
A pink and yellow floral tablecloth provides some spring blooms and a cheery foundation to pair with the bunny plates.
Green and white check napkins are layered with lace-trimmed natural linen napkins and paired with a blooming napkin rings. . .
And Portmeirion Botanic Garden flatware provides some additional blooms.
Every Daisies Sugar Cookies from Trader Joe’s are a colorful sweet treat, served in a cabbage leaf bowl.
In celebration of spring and bunny season, Iâm sharing some dish love to help you hop into spring with a little giveaway!
Two winners will receive the same set of (4) porcelain bunny salad plates. . .
