Flowers are harder to come by with fewer shopping trips these days while we’re all sheltering in place. Spring is in full swing here in North Carolina and I’m anxiously awaiting ‘the bloom’ and to have flowers to cut in the garden!

For this week’s edition of Monday Morning Blooms, we’re revisiting some favorite floral posts and sharing some blooming inspiration in anticipation of Easter. I know I find myself in need of some flower therapy these days and my hope is these flowers will help brighten your day too. ♥

Click on the links in red for the complete post, DIY details and table sources. You’ll find my blogging friends links to their floral inspiration at the bottom of this post.

Easy 5-Minute Easter Centerpiece

You may have noticed that I use this white soup tureen often for flower arranging (rarely for soup :).  No flower arranging skills required when you drop in some potted flowering bulbs (paper-covered pot and all!) into your bowl, basket or tureen. You can usually find small pots of azaleas, Easter Lilies and flowering bulbs at the grocery store the week before Easter. Top with colorful Easter grass or paper shred, tuck in a few colorful eggs and add a vintage postcard for an Easter greeting.

Thank you Mary. Yes, I need flower therapy and I too have been finding it in my spring flowers that are blooming…hyacinths, daffodils and a few paper whites…the tulips will be a few weeks later…that’s in Indiana…it’s too early to go greenhouse shopping (in our neck of the woods) but I am soooooo ready!! I’m hoping by Easter we will be like Christ and come out of the darkness into the sunrise! Praying!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

All that brilliantly fun color! I went to a mega nursery this weekend in a downpour hoping all the germs were washing away, came home and planted in a hailstorm praying the lightning wouldn’t strike me dead, in other words I live for garden color! With the lockdown in place I forgot Easter was even on the calender, what calender, with husband home I barely know what season it is, with pouring rain a few days and sun here and there, is it winter or spring?! If you showed Christmas treats and arrangements I wouldn’t be the wiser and just as delighted!

Your tables and gardens always inspire me. I often decorate my table by duplicating parts of your amazing tablescapes. Sadly, with nobody coming over, I have been reluctant to decorate for just hubby and me. But last week, I decided to create a beautiful tablescape and found it to be therapeutic. I’m so glad I pushed through! Thank you for keeping us all on track!

Now I need to get out of my chair and create a pretty table. Hope you and your guy and those fluffy girls are staying safe and healthy. We are good, and as it’s been cool, grey, and rainy for days, we have been snuggled in by a cozy fire most days. Looks as if today may be brighter.
