Hi Mary! I absolutely love your blog. I look forward to every email. We love Halloween in my house and my favorite treat would have to be Reese’s Peanut Butter cups : )
Oh Mary,
Halloween is by far my favorite day of the year, and I love your spooktacular table settings, and decorations. You give us all so many wonderful ideas and share such fun ways for us all to enjoy this fall time of the year. I LOVE the potting shed and the ways that you change it for the seasons and holidays.
My absolute favorite treat is the candy apple. I’ve loved them since my first bite as a child and it still remains my favorite fall treat. The smell and taste of cinnamon brings fall to the front of the line.
Halloween is our fave holiday! I love Reese’s peanut butter cups, they are available all year, though. Candied or caramel apples are my most looked forward to Halloween treat! Thanks for all the Halloweenspiration!!!
Hi Mary! What wonderful ideas for a perfectly spooky Halloween! Your blog always offers such wonderful ideas……love the Halloween Oreo Brownies. My favorite Halloween treat is a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup……Yum!
We love Halloween! Our favorite treat is a witch head cake we have been making with our family for over 40 years now! We Started making it when my children were young and now I love making it with our grand girls. You bake one 9” square cake, then cut in triangles- The largest wedge becomes witches face, other her hat and small corner piece is nose. Tint part of white icing for face and part for hat, leaving the rest white for her hair. Sprinkle white icing with coconut for hair, and add candies for her eyes and mouth. I love all your fun Halloween decor! It’s the best! Xo
I pinned Lola and Sophie’s picture. They are precious!
Hello again, I pinned your beautiful Halloween photos, Thanks for this fun treat : )
Hi, we love Halloween in our house and my favorite treat would definitely have to be Reese’s Peanut Butter cups : )
I pinned your beautiful Halloween bouquets!
My favorite Halloween treat is the Witch’s Potion Popcorn. I replace the candy corn with orange M&Ms. This is such a versatile recipe because you can change the ingredients to match the holiday or event – Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, or tailgate (no tailgate this year). You are very generous with the giveaways!
I pinned the witch tea cups onto my Halloween Pinterest board- I love them!! Xo
I love the Halloween Oreo Brownies recipe and The Witch is in the Wreath. I need to be brave and try to make the wreath!
Loved the Halloween cheese plate with skeletal rats! My favorite Halloween treat is Reese’s peanut butter cups.
I love candy corn🎃🎃

I would love to win the Sweet potato dog treats, for my Granddogs, I do not have any grandchildren, so call my daughters 2 dogs -my Granddogs, I know they would love the treats. A great Halloween blog.
You have really outdone yourself on this one! Fabulous! Thanks for posting. I know that it took a lot of time to put that all together. For some reason, when I think Halloween, I think candy corn. I can’t eat but a couple of pieces because it is so sweet but that is my first thought.
Hi Mary! You are so generous in your giveaways! I love your witch’s potion popcorn that I giveaway to neighbors and family. I love it myself!!
Thanks for all the great ideas!! I just found apple fritters and can’t get enough!
Loving this post and re-reading it to get ideas. Halloween is my most favorite holiday and fingers crossed it will not be cancelled in my area. I love the pumpkin shaped Reeses.
Halloween is my favorite ‘holiday’. Girly-squeeee! My favorite Halloween treat has to be the Reese’s pumpkins. Also the orange Oreo’s. Not considered a treat but delicious is the Spooky Lasagna Soup recipe you posted and I have made it several times. Even hubby loves the floating eyeballs.
I pinned the picture of the Hawthorne Gardens pillow cover and a picture of the table setting with the potion plate and witch hand towel.
Have you been hitting your magic potions again, you are looking more like Santa than witch this season! So kind of you and the girls to scare the goodness into everyone!
You always have such fun ideas! I will never forget the Halloween my Mom made popcorn balls. Now of course anything chocolate will do.
I already subscribe by email so I guess that makes me a member of the Black Hat Society by default. WooHoo!
Wow, Mary! What a way to lift spirits (no pun intended!) One thing i miss with clicklist shopping is seeing the seasonal treats, but I recently saw one my favorites elsewhere and added it to my own list – candy corn (I mix it with peanuts). Mr. P, and I both love that this time of year. I pinned that potting shed tablescape, it’s so perfect, and will bring me back to ALL of these seasonally inspired links. No fur babies in my immediate household but I have granddogs, and I’m all in on your giveaway. Your love of this holiday has definitely rubbed off – I’m even into making Halloween tablescapes now! Seven years – wow, no bad luck for us subscribed readers, it’s all good!
What a fun post, Mary! I love all the tea towels! Favorite Halloween candy is the bag with candy corn and little pumpkins.
Wow! Lots of Society members get treats this time!
I like candy corn with peanuts. It’s the only way I can eat candy corn and I only partake at Halloween.
My puppy, grandchildren and I would love to win any of these wonderful treats!
Mary, you always inspire me with your posts! My Halloween collection has definitely grown over the years after seeing your ideas. I pinned several pics, your Skeleton crew has always amused me, the cheese tray with the rats and of course the spider cookies for my grands! Thanks for always being generous with your giveaways! Stay safe and Happy Halloween!
What a fun post! I pinned so many of the photos. I’m sure you had so much fun putting these projects together. I love how bright and clear your photos are. Being an amateur photographer, I’m noticing these things.
Love the spider fluids. Pinned to my Boo You board in Pinterest. Always enjoy thanks for posting my mini vacations.
I also love the autumn mix candy corn-probably because my Mom also liked it! I pinned your skeleton crew to make with my grandsons. They’ll love it. I made your witch wreath a few years back and it is still one of my faves. Thanks for all your creative ideas!!
Love Halloween and go all out decorating inside and outside my house for Halloween! My favorite Halloween candy is a Reeses Pumpkin! Yum! Love all your decorating ideas!

We dip the pretzels them attach a blanched almond fingernail. All 6 grandchildren love making these and EATING them.
My black female Pug Sadie is dressing as a bumble bee for Halloween this year. I can’t wait for Halloween.!
My Rooster tins arrived this week and they are AWESOME..I have ordered other items you recommended such as the daisy/bumblebee napkin holders and was very happy with the quality!
Proud card carrying member here of The Society. I love Halloween so much I chose it as my wedding day 39 years ago! Yep, Hubby and I have been scary together since !981! Frightening, huh? Ha! Haven’t been treat shopping yet, but as I was trying to rearrange and organize my jillions of dollars worth of decorations, I came upon some Reese’s peanut butter pumpkins from last year. I know…leftovers that nobody ate? Horrors! How the heck did that happen? Anyway, in the times we find ourselves in now I don’t waste one speck of food so I’ve been gobbling those things down right and left. They’re scary good!
Happy Halloween!!!
I pinned the witches shoe and the caldron cupcakes. Since Halloween will be altered like everything else I want to do something special for my grandkids!
Thanks for the inspirations
What a generous give away! I love trying your recipes. I pinned the Witches Potion Popcorn, and hope to make it this weekend when we watch Mulan on Disney Plus with our grandchildren. As for candy, I always try to hold back a few Mounds bars from the bowl for the trick-or-treaters. I wonder what trick-or-treat will look like this year.
You have so many beautiful things, you must have lots of closets. Wishing you a spooky Halloween
We love Halloween! Thanks for all the great ideas.
I also pinned the stemless wine glass picture to my holiday board. I am hoping I can convince my granddaughter to make some!

Oh Mary what a great Halloween selection and generous giveaway! The past posts bring back some great memories of making some of the recipes, searching Goodwill for some black witchy garden boots but the ones I finally found were not as cute as yours and sharing Rod and Rowena with my husband-the one where they are on the boat dock! I like mixing candy corn with peanuts and seasonal M&Ms. I am a member of the society. Thank you so much for taking me down memory lane this am!

Hi Mary! Thank you so much for a chance to win some amazing treats! My favorite candy is Twix.
Ah how fabulous everything looks! I absolutely love all that you have done. My favorite candy for Halloween is of course candy corn and it is addictive I think. I would love to be a member of the Good Witch Society, black hats are my favorite. From one of your posts years ago I went and bought a skeleton from Grandin Road and other things and you were so right, they are all awesome. I am so sad tho because this year we were supposed to host the Halloween Neighborhood Bash Costume Party and with covid, everything in our group has been cancelled. BUT I am still saving ideas for next year. I was planning on making some of your goodies, ah well. To everything here is a season right? Hope I am a lucky winner! Thank you for all of your wonderful and fun inspiration!
What a fun post! Thanks for the inspiration. Anything chocolate is on my list of Halloween faves.
This is the cutest Halloween gathering of goodies! I was going to skip Halloween decorating this year, but I think you just reminded me how much fun it is, even though we won’t have those little ones knocking on our doors. So many favorites here, especially the witches legs and vase arrangement with candy corn in it. I live very close to Salem (OR) and my favorite Halloween sign says “Not All Witches Live in Salem!”.
You have the best dogs. Most i know would be barking at the skeletons, not sitting on the bench with them. I would love the “doggie bag” for my grandogs. My favorite treat is plain kraft caramels. I only allow myself to buy them once a year at halloween and it does not take me long to consume the bag. I loved when i got them in my sack at trick or treat time.
My favorite treat is Reese’s peanut butter cups. This post is amazing. I pinned several of the recipes and am anxious to try them.

Jenna
My favorite has always been plain old candy corn eating each morsel one color at a time! White, then orange and then yellow! Yum!
Mary, love all your genius. I’m excited for Halloween this year, as my 36yo son will come to Colorado from Austin to celebrate. It was a special request from his 4yo niece, to come and dress up for the occasion. As a Death Metal drummer, he would love any of the skeleton gifts. I will be making him a skeleton wall hanging, which I have had for a while. Retirement gives me time for such endeavors.
I’m a corn candy girl all the way. I pinned your garden witch’s shoes. So unique! Also, loving being a subscription member. Thank you for making my day a little brighter.

Great giveaways. My favorite treat of Halloween is my annual Halloween party for my grandchildren. Been doing this about 10 years. Some years are amazing, some are tough. All are blessed though as I’ve been doing despite having cancer. This may be my final party so I’m going out with a bang!
My favorite Halloween candy is Candy Corn, not to eat but to use for decorating. I’ve made melted candy platters & small bowls. I have used as filler in double flower vase with yellow spider mums.
I too love Halloween! I decorate every year, even though I’m 73 and live alone. My neighborhood is being replaced with young families. I usually have about 150 trick or treaters every year, and I absolutely love seeing all of them. I sincerely hope they will be allowed this year. Your witchy dishes are the cutest ever!!!
I’ve subscribed to your BESTEST BLOG on the internet for a long time…And MARY—-you must love Halloween the most because of all the fabulous goodies and fun things you do for Halloween! Loving this post the most of all!. Hugs and Hoots, Sandi
Brach’s pumpkins. I love them – have already had my bag for the year :) We live on a lake too and don’t have any TOTers. I go to my Mother’s to hand out candy. Love seeing all the costumes and the toddlers who just walk right in when you open the door!
I’m an October baby and love fall and Halloween! My favorite treat is Reese’s peanut butter cups. Imagine seven kids running around with pillow cases full of candy coming home and dumping the candy out. A mountain of candy that our mom went through first to get her favorites! We had candy through spring! Love your posts!

I still shamelessly love candy corn–eat it, give it out for treats, decorate with it–it’s second only to chocolate. :)
Just joined your blog and love it. Favorite Halloween candy. Reese’s cups Reese’s cups Reese’s cups!!! 😄
With so many fall festivals and Halloween event cancelations your blog posts make me so happy seeing all the decorations and tablescapes. I posted a couple photos on Pinterest. Love the floral arrangement! I love your potting shed too. I live in a red tiny house (a little over 500 sq ft) and I love the green trim, and I’ve been wanting shutters on our little place. You inspire me!
Oh Mary! You are so incredibly generous! You even beat-out the good witch Glenda! Hehe. All of your special vignettes, the witches shoes the tablescapes, the very fashionable skeletons, remind me of my childhood when Halloween was fun. I especially like the sweet vintage postcards, takes me back to easier, kinder times. 🍊🍂 The sweet pictures of Lola and Sophie cracked me up, I really laughed out loud. I’ll pass on the entry and leave it to all the other “trick or treaters”, but you did a super great post. Also, want you to know the apple-pecan-carmel cake mentioned in the last post is yummy good. My 3 sisters and hubbies enjoyed their pieces and we did too. What a great fall treat! I did notice though that the vanilla needs to be added to number 2 under the cake instructions and yes you were so right, that was one thick batter, but oh, so good! Thank you for another “keeper” which goes in my “Mary’s – Home Is Where the Boat Is” 3 ring binder cook book! Love ya girl! ♥️ Happy Fall! 🍊🍂🍊🍂🍊🍂
Each year you outdo the year before. Nobody decorates like you ! I pinned a lot of the photos but the floral arrangement is beautiful.
My favorite candy is frozen Baby Ruths. I love the tea cups and towels.
The giveaways are very generous. Thank you
I always love you Halloween tables! My favorite candy for Halloween is the Harvest Mix candy corn. Haven’t found any yet this year but fingers crossed.
I pinned two of the photos so far… The black and white Buffalo check table and the Halloween lace plate with vintage cards on them. My inspiration!
As a member of the Black Hat Society I must say this is what I call a COLOSSAL giveaway!! So many cute Halloween items…my favorite Halloween treat has always been CANDY CORN!! I’m just an old fashioned girl at heart!! My favorite new item in this giveaway are the snack cups…soooo cute!! Thanks Mary and GOOD LUCK to all!! SPOOKTACULAR!! 🧟🧛🏻🧙🦹♀️🎃👻💀
I pinned the FLOATING WITCH!! I love that!!! I couldn’t help myself but I also pinned the picture with LOLA & SOPHIE as little witches!! They are sooo previous!!! Thanks again!! 🧙🧙
LOVE Halloween! My current favorite treat is the melted white chocolate with Utz bat pretzels and other treats pressed into it that you showed us last year. I’m so happy to be a member of the Black Hat Society!
I love that you love Halloween as much as I do! Your posts are such inspiration. Candy corn hands down is the best ever Halloween treat. I pinned the picture of skeletons and dogs on the porch. This is quite the giveaway! Thanks so much for the chance!
I love Halloween and am so excited to see your post! I’m a long time subscriber.
I love Reese’s Peanut Butter cups in the shape of a pumpkin! Of course I’m a long time subscriber and just love all your Halloween posts!
Hi, Mary. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas. I have been a subscriber for years as a matter of fact you were the first blog I signed up for! Candy corn is my favorite Halloween candy, love to eat it and decorate with it. Posted several of the pictures from this post. Your photography is so beautiful I love seeing it all. Hope you are getting some cooler weather. Have a great day and stay safe. Mary Lu
Love, love, love Halloween!!!! Just a fun holiday, no stress! Reese’s peanut butter cups is hands down my favorite candy. Even if there’s no trick or treating this year I’m buying myself a bag!!! Great giveaways too!!!!
I love Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday and I always enjoy your blog. Candy corn is my favorite treat!
This is just the cutest!! I love all of your Witchy finds and would love to win any of them. My favorite Halloween candy is plain ol’ M & M in fall colors. I also don’t mind Candy Corn mixed with peanuts for the Payday feel. But really……what witch would turn away any kind of Halloween goodies? :-)
I also pinned your spider cookies. Adorable and cant wait to make those,. My children are all grown and we now have grandbabies coming along but they all still love special treats at Halloween.
I pinned the peanut butter spider cookies because they look tasty and fun!
My favorite Halloween or fall treat is pumpkin muffins, or almost anything made with pumpkin! I would love to win a giveaway. (Sadly, no pets in our household now, though.) I am a subscriber and enjoy all your colorful ideas.
I actually “pin” your entire post…picture after picture into my “home/boat” folder! Love every picture you put in your posts…so it is by far my largest Board!!!! Every season I take a look in it to get inspired! Thanks for all your post!

My favorite Halloween treat is still candy corn. It’s pure sugar and also fun to use to decorate.
Mary, no one does Halloween better than you! You are the “queen” as my granddaughter would say!
Love all of your posts. You’re creativity is amazing!
My favorite Halloween candy is Reese’s peanut butter cups! 🎃
My favorite Halloween cancy is candy corn. It is traditional. I enjoy your blog and your wonderful ideas. Thank you for sharing with us.
I look forward to your POSTs all the time. You are very creative, I like your style. I work doing a left brain job and reading your POST helps me get inspired to decorate and enjoy my home. Love the pictures of your dogs!!! Love everything about your POST, not to scary, but fun spirited. I like what you did with the oreo cookies as witch legs/socks. My favorite Halloween treats: Halloween themed M&M’s, Oreo cookies, and Mr. Goodbars. I don’t know how to Pin, but will find out how and Pin. Also, I live in Southern California, border of LA & Orange Counties. The LA Major has banned “Trick or Treating” Halloween Carnivals and gatherings this year because of COVID-19. I will miss the young creative costume creatures knocking for treats this year. But, I am still decorating!!!
I love caramel apples and making apple crisp.
Caramel corn, though the witch’s potion popcorn looks like something I’ll need to try!
Every year since my sister’s children were very small, we have an annual family “Fright Night”. . . .they always look forward to their Aunt Kelly’s special Halloween treat—hot buttered popcorn with peanut M&Ms mixed in! Frightfully delicious and perfect for scary movie night double features! PS. The “kids” are all grown now, yet we all still gather for this tradition, snuggled under neath autumn patterned throws while wearing our Halloween socks!
Be Still My Witchy Heart Mary! I’m cackling with glee to see this post. We were out of town enjoying the beauty of the NC mountain last week and I was unplugged so I’m late to this Halloween party! I’m a Black Hat Society Member and would love to throw my name into the cauldron for your generous giveaway. I’m a miniature Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup fan. Thanks for this post, I’ll be dusting off my broom and buying a new hat.🍁🦹♀️🕸🕷🎃
Pinned my witchy fingers off, thanks again for the Halloween fun! 🎃 🍁🕷🕸🦹♀️

I love Halloween and have more decorations for it than Christmas. I like candy corn by itself or mixed with peanuts. Thanks for the give away and your lovely post. I always enjoy it.
Grand Witch Mary… as a lowly untalented member of the society I must protest that you are requesting that we limit our selection to only one favorite treat… I mean, eye of newt and tongue of spider are obviously at the top of every good witches list but I believe we should lure in the mere mortals by pretending we like their “goodies” so I will throw out my suggestion… popcorn ball.. witch jamie….
I look forward to your posts this for Hall🎃ween mist of all, Mary! You out do yourself every year! Thank you. I have pinned 6 of your photos before I even knew it would give me an extra chance to win!
Thank you for the inspiration🤞
Believe it or not, my favorite Halloween treat is candy corn!

Mary, I think you know each and every one of these ideas thrill this Halloween enthusiast. I say this frequently, but honestly this post alone could be a complete book. Your ideas and photo presentation is stellar. Makes me want to fly right into these charming tableaus. As much as I adore each and every one of these generous gifts, I’ll leave my name out of the hat. Remodel still in process here, and honestly I’m not sure any of the Halloween totes will make it down from the attic this fall. Between COVID isolation and three rooms packed away, I’m reluctant to bring much out.
I’m in awe of your talent. I’m going to start a Pinterest Board of just Mary holidays! I want a quick reference to these creative ideas. Happy Days ahead, dear friend!
Thank you for your kind and generous comment Sarah! {blush} I know you must be weary of your renovation and beyond ready to have your house and garden back when you can’t escape and travel some while that is going on. I hope it wraps up sooner rather than later and COVID will in the rear view mirror for all of us in a few months. Happy Weekend to you, Sadie and the Chef. ♥
I LOVE Halloween and I LOVE your ideas! I just love “Brella” , think i’ll make one for our celebreation.
My favorite treat: Peanutbutter cups! I even barter with the kids and now grandkids for them.

I love Halloween! This holiday is a special reminder of my childhood. We always created homemade costumes with the help of my mom. She made every holiday come to life! Some of the costumes I remember we created were the Quaker Oats round box to wear, A movie theater cup of coke Including the logo and a box of popcorn. We had so much fun making these and more. This tradition carried into my adult years for Halloween party’s. Creating wearable Halloween party table costumes. All of your table settings have given me some great ideas for more party table costumes. Your witchy dishes are the cutest ever!! My all time favorite candy is Reese peanut butter cups, but I will take anything chocolate!
I posted the table scape with the poison plates and two others long wiith the bone and Skelton spreaders which is my favorite since I collect spreaders

What fun to create these Halloween venues. I love candy cron and try not to buy too often because I will eat it all! Have you collected halloween decorations for many years?
Mary, I think this Halloween is the best ever! I’ve saved to Pinerest your terrific ideas so I won’t forget how to make them, they are all over the top wonderful! This year Dollar Store had plastic wine goblets with skeleton hands, closest to the ones you have used in the past, I bought 12! I needed to make a broom to go with the child’s witch dress I hung on the window under the hanging twinkle lights, timely directions…thank you! I love chocolate, so Halloween is my favorite with so many choices, but to decide on one, it will have to be Reeses Peanutbutter cups, yum! Thank you each season’s decorating and baking idea’s, I love them all, never too old to decorate and have fun!!! Debbie
