Find Valentine’s Day table inspiration for celebrating with your sweetheart, family or friends.
I love creating a table or centerpiece to add some fun and celebrate the holidays, and Valentine’s Day is no exception! With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’m joining group of bloggers for a Valentine’s Day Tablescape Blog Hop.
You’ll find more Valentine table inspiration from 20 table stylists at the bottom of this post.
In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, I set a cozy table for two by our Winter Nesting Tree.
Our winter tree is a cheery way to brighten the house during the cold, gray months of January and February. It’s decorated with snowflakes, icy branches, pine cones, glittery nests and bird ornaments. You can see more of the ornaments and tree, HERE.
My pitcher of Monday Morning Blooms was relocated to the table for a centerpiece. . .
And two smaller bouquets of flowers were combined to fill a pitcher with a bird perched on the handle and a nod to winter nesting.
A gray throw provides a cozy foundation for the table and adds some silver shimmer and sparkle. . .
With faux rose petals strewn down the center and sprinkled with foil-wrapped chocolate hearts.
What’s not to love about a holiday involving hearts, flowers and chocolate?!
Bird dishes flew in to add some winter nesting details and nod to lovebirds as a symbol for Valentine’s Day.
It’s not Valentine’s Day without some candy or sweet treats! Cupid’s candy corn and cherry sugared hearts are ready to be served up with a heart demitasse spoon. . .
Help yourself to a strawberry or raspberry macaron. . .or one of each!
Johnson Brother Rose Chintz provides some seasonal pretty-in-pink blooms, served up on white chargers and red beaded placemats.
And Valentine Candy Cones provide more sweet treats and are an easy and fun craft using scrapbook paper.
Find the DIY details, HERE.
I’m a fan of mixing and matching and Wallace Hotel flatware features five assorted reproduction designs: An Impero dinner fork, Coburg salad fork, William and Mary dinner knife, Federalist dinner spoon and Barocco teaspoon.
I hope this tablescape brightens your day and inspires you surround yourself with things you love and set a table. . .even if it’s just for yourself!

Mary, So many beautiful details. You nesting tree provides a perfect background for you lovely floral arrangements. I love the bokeh and you do it well. How sweet your heart spoon is and truly I could taste the cherry sugared hearts spooned up as I scrolled through your post.
Your DIY candy cones look so cute on your Johnson Brothers Chintz plate on top of your glittery red placemat. You have lovely table elements and you are so creative to use them in so many ways and change it up. I’m always impressed with your DIY projects. No one could resist checking out the contents. Your candy is really calling my name this morning.
I loved the way you mixed your flatware patterns. What a treat your post was this morning! Beautiful eye candy!
Stunning as usual Mary. You inspire us all with your DIY talent as well as your table styling details. Those beautiful candy cones remind me of the May Day baskets we always made for our May 1st “put on the door knob, ring the doorbell and run and hide” days. I carried on that tradition when my children were little but alas, I believe that tradition went by the wayside as trick or treaters, etc.
How perfect are your beautiful Wallace mixed flatware. Love it. and they go so nicely with your lovely Johnson Bros Rose Chintz!
It is always a pleasure to join you for these blog hops, as you have incredible table scapes.

Mary, every time we walk during winter and I hear birds chattering, I get a thrill, knowing they’re anxious like we are to come out and play. Your table brings that feeling to life for me, and all the details make it exactly as you’d hoped – cozy and cheery! The tree in winter sets the perfect tone for all your birds to fly in and florals to bloom. Your layering / mixing of textiles, china, foods, flowers – just fantastic. I’m loving the way Wallace has done the mixing for us in the hotel flatware! Your Monday morning blooms are perfectly paired with your theme. Those little sugar hearts are calling my name, even though I have my own treats at just about every table in our loft as I pass from one end to the other (it’s pretty bad, our sweets addiction). Your blog is a one-stop shop for all things I love about home and garden. And I have to say….Lola and Sophie are stealing the show with that picture of them in your header. Oh my gosh, they are just such cute little balls of fur! Happy February, Mary. You sure made me happy this morning. ♥
Mary, I just love how you incorporated the beautifully decorated tree and winter seasonal decor with a sweet Valentines theme tablescape. The very first table you shared with those sculptural bird plates made me all a twitter — and sent me on a 6 month search until I found 8 of my own! You’ve now inspired me to use them for a future sweetheart table; although your setting will be impossible to beat. Mr. Buzz loves candy corn and I never realized they made a Valentines version. Will have to get him some. Hope you have a most happy holiday!
Mary, As always, your table is so lovely and welcoming. I really love those Rose Chintz plates, they are so pretty and delicate, adding such a feminine look to your tabletop! Of course those cones are the perfect little treat to add to each place setting. Thanks for sharing your inspiring table!
Just lovely, Mary. Your family and friends must love an invitation to one of your sit-down tablescapes.
Those pretty cabbage rose napkins really caught my eye, as did the pretty fresh flowers – I can’t wait for spring to arrive!

What a beautiful table, Mary! All of your bird and floral accents are wonderful–so many pretty blooms! I love your combination of plates and flatware, and what pretty napkins! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
This is magical Mary! You have captured romance, and made it warm and cozy with your Winter Nesting Tree and glittery throw, and added the fun of Valentine’s Day with candy and your cute Valentine cones! The faux rose petals are wonderful and look so pretty styled like a small runner under your gorgeous pitcher and bird bowls. I love the flatware mix and the complimentary patterns in your plate stack, so pretty! Happy February and Valentine’s Day!
❤️ Jenna
Oh my goodness Mary! I don’t know where to start! First I love your winter nesting tree! What a wonderful way to add warmth and coziness during the dark days of winter! Your rose plates and napkins have stole my heart! And your floral arrangements are stunning too! I too am a big fan of mix matched flatware. I love the sparkle touches and of course the sweets! Really, a beautifully romantic Valentine’s Day table! A pleasure to join you on the blog hop today!
Mary, I love every table that you set by your beautiful nesting tree! I adore each and every seasonal cone that you create. I shall make that a project with my mom. She loves to work with paper. I have so many origami cranes that she made for me. Have a great day and thanks for the inspiration!!
Your Valentine table next to the tree is Gorgeous! I have checked out many other sites (including the ones you recommend) and no one comes close to your decorative combinations. I spent several hours making Valentines candy cones for my Grandkiddies. They loved the Thanksgiving and Halloween ones I made for them previously- thanks to your inspiration. My only problem was finding the supplies. I went to Michaels craft store and was disappointed with their selection of items. I ended up purchasing a pad of Valentine paper. Much of the pages are unusable for the cone project and their selection of stickers, ribbons, trim, etc was dismal. Wish more supplies were available online!
Mary, your table is just stunning! Between the birds, the flowers and the twinkling lights in the background, your table is a gorgeous Valentine experience! Thanks for the lovely inspiration! Always a pleasure to hop with you!

Mary, Your Valentine’s table is beautiful. The floral napkins and plates are so colorful and pretty. The details of adding the bird dishes, candy cones, and those cute little heart shaped spoons makes your table so inviting. Your MMB arrangement is the perfect centerpiece. Happy Valentine’s day! Clara❤️

Mary, your nesting table is so perfect for Valentine’s with your MMB’s pitchers of beautiful blooms. I love the cones on the Rose Chintz plates ( I used them, also). I have always admired your attention to detail, the layering of patterns and textures are stunning! And I can’t forget the sweets, I am struggling with my sweet addiction. Wishing you a most beautiful Valentine’s Day!
Loving it all! ❤️ The little birdies are always my favorite!
There are so many things to love. I love the Chintz plates and the pink macaroons. Your flowers are so amazing. The table looks so perfect. It was fun hopping with you.
Mary, some a delight for our eyes. Those Rose Chintz plates caught my eye. They are lovely and look fabulous on your table. The nesting table is so pretty. Beautiful florals also steal the show. How pretty those custom made little cones are that you made. The candies are something I would enjoy, except for watching my sugar intake. Mixing and matching looks lovely. The sweet little birds are such a happy addition. A pleasure joining you on this Valentine Blog Hop.
The candy cones are perfect they remind me of tussie-mussies. Your lighting and presentation send these pictures over the top Mary, this is stunning!
Mary, it is all so very beautiful and puts a smile on my face. The rosebud chintz china is so pretty, and I think I need a set of that Wallace flatware. I love the mix of patterns! Those candy cones are absolutely precious and make a sweet parting favor. I hope you have a happy Valentine’s Day!
Mary,
Such a gorgeous Valentine post. Every photo is rich with color, design and wonderful ideas for us all to use in our own homes.
Wishing you a lovely Valentine’s celebration!
Jemma
Your table is beautiful, Mary. I especially like the silver with the deep red!
Mary this is just so fabulous!! I love it all. The Valentine cones are just too adorable sitting on your pretty floral chintz plates! It just makes me go ahhh! Feminine romantic and pretty! Come link up to centerpiece Wednesday on my blog. Oh and I just started a new Facebook group called seasonal tablescapes come join in the fun! https://www.facebook.com/groups/806851003489178/
Oh how I love Rose Chintz, Mary! It’s such a charming pattern that reminds me that it should be in an English cottage. Your floral centerpieces are so pretty, and the birdie candy filled accent pieces are adorable. My first choice for a macaron would be raspberry, but strawberry would be my next choice. Thanks for sharing your beautiful table by your nesting tree. 🥰❤️🥰
Mary, your beautiful floral pieces certainly set the mood for this romantic evening. They are further enhanced by the soft white lights of your nesting tree as your backdrop to your table. The sweet treats look so tempting and really adds to feeling special. I love the tussie-mussies. What cute gift ideas for this day of love.
Mary, I just love your nesting tree! I hate taking the trees down after Christmas…this is a great way to extend the season a little longer. Your Valentine’s table looks so festive and lovely. I loved seeing the treat cones again from our craft hop! Those Johnson Brothers chintz plates are beautiful! And I had no idea they make Valentine candy corn! I need to find some of those :) It was fun hopping with you. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Mary, I stopped by to view this gorgeous table full of sweet treats on Monday, but couldn’t leave a comment from my phone, so I’ve returned for another visit and to say hello. I always love your idea of the winter nesting tree. One day I may do one for us. Our living room is limited space for a tree, so when the Christmas tree is taken down, it feels as if we have space! All the same, a winter tree of twinkle lights is something I know I would enjoy.
Your table details with the chintz plates certainly say Happy Valentine’s Day. I hope to make some of the cones for a few friends. Thought it would be fun to deliver some valentines since we can’t get together for our annual Galentine’s dinner.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
LOVE LOVE LOVE everything on that table! BUT, especially the Chintz dishes!! OH my, they are soooo beautiful! Thanks for sharing!! ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹
Such a lovely table Mary! Those sugared heart candies look delicious, and I’m always a sucker for Rose Chintz. Of course your flowers are stunning as always! So nice to be sharing this hop with you! Happy Weekend!
