I would use these jars at a family reunion my family is planning this spring at our farm in Northern Indiana (Not too far from where these jars are made!). I think I would use the jars for flowers on the tables and for drink jars for all the little great grandchildren.
I would use the jars as garden lanterns. I would use thin wire to wrap around the area where the top would be screwed on at & attach a wire hanging handle. I would put citronella candles in them & hang them along a garden path. I would also enjoy using them as an Easter centerpiece / by putting colorful grass and overflowing them with candy. Your site is amazing – I love how down to earth it is & how in your recipes are flexible in using what you have on hand. I am always cheered up when I visit your site. :-) Susan P. Schexnayder
I would use them to make a light to hang in the pergola. I have a wire basket that comes in the canning kettles and would put the jars in that with solar lids and hang it for a light. Love you blog. What a job moving your potting shed!!

I would use the jars for drinking glasses and for serving. I love Mason jars and have all sizes and use them for any different thing as well as canning. I enjoy your blog and all your pictures. Thanks for sharing,
I bought an old crystal chandelier at the thrift store. I would love to replace the old electric lights with votives placed in the new green Ball mason jars. I think that would look so pretty!
Those are so beautiful!! I would love to use them as vases. I have roses, Sis has sweet peas, lilacs and lily’s, all of those would look so pretty in the jars.
I love flowers around the house, they look great in the sunshine steaming in my windows.
My first thought is for garden lanterns, as well. We already utilize the blue and clear jars that are hung in the trees and the green is a great new color to add to the mix. A plus to this new design is the color isn’t going to peel off in outdoor weather like jars that are painted. My second use is they would make such a wonderful vessel to give homemade food. I love giving a practical container that I know will be used over and over and is lovely to boot. Whether they are filled with summer salsa or a stack of homemade cookies, these jars would make everything look delicious.
Green! Green Ball Jars, Really!!?!! Yea! Green is my favorite glass color. Gosh is Ball going to make a new color every year? We can tomatoes and other veggies every summer, nothing is better than home canned, especially is such pretty jars! These Ball jars would have so many uses in our home, I would love to have a set! Thank you! Pet the pups :)
I adore the green glass ball jars. Multiple uses. Garden picked flowers, sea shells, antique buttons, fill with very small string lights on bendable wire for ambiance on a deck. I have seen solar lid lights to use on jars also.
Sunny, but cold today in Maryland
I love the green mason jars and oh! what couldn’t I do with them. Flowers, garden shed to place flower seeds in them, back yard deck drinks with a little R&R rest, Christmas table settings, Easter table settings oh! and the list could just go on. But the most important thing is I live in Ontario and in my town I have never seen green or blue mason jars. I would be thrilled to own them.
There are so many ways to use any Mason Jar, but the green ones are exceptional! I always love your useage – taking salad, dessert or just about anything in them on a picnic. Of course filling them with flowers is especially nurturing at this time of the year – a breath of spring in this cold weather. Thanks for the opportunity to own them.
