Ingredients

  • 2 packages tortellini from the refrigerated section of the grocery store cheese or meat filled
  • 1 jar favorite marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes cut in half

Instructions

  • Add tortellini to boiling salted water. Cook according to package directions, typically 7 - 9 minutes.
  • Drain tortellini; lightly toss with olive oil to prevent it from sticking together.
  • Add tortellini to round platter or large plate, arranging in a wreath shape, with small bowl in center to hold marinara.
  • Arrange cut tomatoes on “wreath”. Pour marinara in center bowl for dipping with party or cocktail picks for serving.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
