Easter Peeps Chocolate Chip Cookie Tart

Equipment

  • 11 inch tart pan
  • 1 M star tip
  • piping bag

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. package of refrigerated cookie dough; chocolate chip sugar or peanut butter cookie dough
  • PEEPS Marshmallow Bunnies colors of choice
  • 1 can of vanilla frosting or flavor of choice
  • Decorative sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Press refrigerated cookie dough together (slicing if needed) so dough covers the bottom of tart pan.
  • Bake according to package directions, around 10 – 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Place pan on wire rack and allow to cool completely. When cookie tart is cool, remove outer ring of tart pan.
  • Fill a piping bag with frosting, fitted with a 1M star tip. Pipe frosting around edge of cookie. Arrange Peeps in a circle in center of cookie. When arranged, apply a dollop of frosting on the back of each Peep to hold in place. Add decorative sprinkles to frosting border and on top of the cookie if desired.
  • Cut and serve.
