Lemon Peep-tinis

An Easter version of a Lemon Drop Martini with Bunny and/or Chick Peep on a wooden skewer as a festive swizzle stick.

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker
  • bamboo skewers

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. triple sec or Cointreau
  • 2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 oz. simple syrup
  • granulated or colored sugar for rimming glass
  • marmallow Peeps

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway full with ice. Add the vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  • Rub lemon wedge around the rims of glasses. Add sugar to a small plate; dip the rims of the glasses in sugar. Divide the vodka mixture between the two glasses.
  • Add a marsmallow chick or bunny Peep to bamboo skewer as a swizzle stick to serve.

Notes

Simple syrup is equal parts sugar and water, heated until the sugar dissolves. When cool, store in an airtight container or jar in fridge until ready to use, up to one month.
