Country French meets Autumn Splendor! What a wonderfully colorful collection of “fowl friends”, Mary! The entire line is charming and I loved seeing the pretty edges of that sculpted sunflower platter peeking out from under the stack of plates…very cool effect.
Thanks so much for listing your sources. I never see such pretty linens at my Kohls. :-(

So pretty, so Provencal, you make me want to buy more dishes, I love the sunflower appetizer plates. Sunflowers are my favorite.

Oh I love this setting – the colors are so pretty! The roosters, hens and chicks are just adorable. I wish this was a prize for one of your fun contests.

Good Morning to you! Gosh, that tablescape will wake up any sleepy heads! Love the dishes but that tablecloth seems to make it appear too busy.! I can’t seem to find any poppies in your floral arrangement. Could you have meant dahlias instead of poppies? I just love that beverage dispenser. We have one similar at church for water or juice during coffee hour..it is so beautiful and for a large crowd, just perfect. I love the flower in the center of the smaller plates. Pfaltzgraff always seems to have such a variety of dishes. Love all that goes to that set. Thanks for sharing
I’m getting hungry for breakfast just looking at this beautiful tablescape!

Hi Betty, the poppies are in the border of the plates, not the arrangement :)

Beautiful eye-popping colors! Such a fun and cheery way to transition into fall…Love the sunflower appetizer plates, although I would have wished for them to have a tad more color…

Roosters always make for a happy setting and these are strutting so proudly through their yard of blooms! I am crazy about the rooster topped jars, so attractive~ The sunflower plates look so cute under the mugs, and your centerpiece steals the show! Roosters everywhere, there will be no late sleepers in your garden! Your beverage cooler presentation with the sunny orange slices is gorgeous Mary, I’d like to stop by for a screwdriver a little later :)

What a beautiful fall table setting! Perfectly detailed. My favorite is the pottery your floral arrangement is in. Where did you get it? I want one for my collection. Myra

Thanks Myra! It came from Pottery Barn several years ago :)

What a gorgeous tablescape! Sunflowers are my transition flowers from summer to early fall and with the rooster, this table is something to really “crow” about (all puns intended). Enjoy your blog and your beautiful tables!

  16. September 15, 2014 at 5:22 pm

Another eggciting table to crow about! As always, never a rumpled feather in sight! So many sweet touches, it’s great they let you play til the cows come home. Wait, shall I say light of day ;-)

I have been enjoying your posts of and on for a long time. The one today touched my heart as it is inviting with the brilliant colours of fall. I used ( when younger) to visit my parents in Virginia in the fall, always because I loved this time of the year. The linger of summer with the beauty of fall with still warm days and brisk evenings. It takes me back to those wonderful visits and the beauty that was all around to give thanks for.
You always do things up in the most delightful ways. Thank you for sharing them with us.
    With a grateful heart,

That table is just too bloomin’ cute, Mary! It sure gives us all something to crow about. Your sure know how to enhance beautiful dishes, especially by your lakeside view.

So gorgeous…I cannot say enough about this lovely table! The linens are perfect with your Pfaltzgraff and love all of the details.

  28. September 21, 2014 at 7:25 am

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4
year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell
    someone!
