Really a sweet and inviting table. Love how you put everything together,Mary. Really like the red checked napkins .Your quilt table cloth is always beautiful and interesting. Thank you.
I’m not typically a blue person, but much of what has caught my eye recently has been in those colors. You bring out the bet in them with your colorful accents. It looks like the lake is in full glory.
I really like how you added red and picked up the red on the dishes! The quilt is a perfect backdrop to the boldness of the dinner plates. The centerpiece is perfect with them. xo marlis
What an inspiration you are! My husband and I only have our youngest daughter left at home with us. So I have begun the challenge of making our dinner table more beautiful –since there are only three of us it is easier. It was from your blog this idea grew. Thank you for being such an inspiration to myself and many others!
I am a blue lover from waaaaay back…as a child most of my clothes (and hair ribbons to match, of course) were blue…Anything blue still calls my name… ;-)
Love that birdhouse! Did you make it? Looks like a banister post in the front?
Another winner for sure, Mary. The color and pattern of these dishes aren’t something that I would normally notice. However, the way you have showcased them have put them at the top of my ‘to get’ list.
I love the red gingham napkins with the stoneware, gives it an unexpected look and brightens up the whole table. The hydrangeas really make the pattern pop too, and what cute napkin rings!
Jenna
All the elements are perfect. The napkins rings were great finds to compliment the stoneware as were the gingham napkins. Your quilt was a wonderful background. Your hydrangeas in the watering can are delightful. Very striking tablescape.
