At the Table: Pfaltzgraff Ocean Breeze

 I’m at the table with

Ocean Breeze Dinnerware

by Pfaltzgraff.

Ocean Breeze has three sculpted and distinct ridges

of color, reminiscent of the water as it shifts

and changes shades with depth of the sea.

This easy, breezy stoneware is microwave and dishwasher safe

and can be easily accessorized for a seaside table

or enjoyed for understated, everyday dining.

A coral shell napkin reverses to a striped pattern

and is accented with a coastal shell napkin ring.

I did a little shell seeking, combing the

the aisles recently to uncover

 some seaside treasures. . .

DSC_7580-001

I reeled in a fish vase and shell and starfish

lanterns in watery shades of aqua

and turquoise for a coastal centerpiece.

Pieces of sea glass add a playful

colorful accent to a seaside table. . .

And turquoise straw placemats provide a

bright band of color, layered

with textured rattan chargers.

Love the table scape! When I am in Maine in the summer I pick sea glass up on my walk on the beach. The colors are amazing! Continue to wow us with your beautiful table settings. Happy Memorial Day and pontooning🇺🇸🚤

Turquoise is my very favorite color and you are teasing me mercilessly with all those beautiful ceramic pieces, that fish bottle is too fabulous! I can’t believe you found that at HG and not at an art show! I can see how versatile that dinnerware pattern can be, but you have really made it into a WOW with all the beautiful accessories you have used with it. Great napkins and napkin rings…

Ah…….ocean breezes! I’m in the mood for a little beach time, but unfortunately it isn’t in my future any time soon. I’ll just sit back and dream with visions of this ocean breeze table. Delightful, Mary!

What a versatile pattern, Mary. I love how you highlighted it with the pretty textures and reversible napkins. It also goes from evening to breakfast with the goblets or mugs. No one sets a table like you.

Lovely and fun and soothing too. You do great tablescapes

  20. May 29, 2014 at 11:12 pm

I love those dishes!…and the napkin rings are so very perfect…blends so well with the sea glass too…the layering of the dishes/placemats/charger is so beautiful…I love how you did that!…You successfully created a feeling of sitting tableside overlooking the beautiful waves of the ocean.

  21. May 30, 2014 at 12:41 am

Very nice, all of it. The ceramic pieces in the table center are to die for. The placement of the sea glass with the random shapes and jagged edges, adds an interesting contemporary twist to the bowl.

  22. May 30, 2014 at 2:04 pm

Beautiful summery table………..just lovely with all those beautiful azaleas in
the background too. Liked the mix of blues cause that is surely what the
ocean does………liked the idea of the round blue placemat underneath
the round rattan, nice border, very pretty table.
    Blessings, Nellie
