Weekend Waterview and Tidbits

Happy Sunday! We took an early morning boat ride, enjoying the sunshine and a nap on the pontoon.

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments on White Dog Therapy and your thoughts and prayers for our family. Your comments were so touching they made me weepy reading them.

Maddie and Zoe are with my sister-in-law who was living with my mother-in-law, and providing her some much-needed therapy and company.

I enjoyed a little retail therapy on Friday, making the rounds to HomeGoods and T.J. Maxx and found four cute dog sweaters for Howl-oween. The XS sizes were $5.99, which will still swamp 4 lb. Maddie, and the medium sizes for Chloe & Gracie were $7.99.

We all love Halloween around here since it’s all about the treats!

I got an email notification of a sale and 50% off select cooking classes at Sur La Table through September 19th.

We had a fun and delicious time at our Date Night Summer in Italy Cooking Class at Sur La Table and if you have time in your schedule for a class, I highly recommend it. You can find a class near you here.

Beautiful morning on the lake. You are so lucky! Doggies are adorable as always. I told Sadie I’d go out this afternoon to see if I can find her a cute Halloween sweater. Hope it will be cool enough for her to wear a sweater. ‘-)
    Enjoy your day!

While visiting in WI we rode in a pontoon boat for the first time. I really liked the slow speed and so enjoyed the lake, but didn’t pay any attention to the make or brand. Your boat always looks so nice, would you mind sharing what type it is? Also, thank you for this special post.

Hi Sue, Our pontoon is 2005 Crest Caribbean :)

I’ve been thinking about you and your family. The pups sound like they’re in good company, and I like the sweaters. Chloe and Gracie are ready for Halloween!

We may be an ocean away from the USA, but we still think of your country at this time, remembering the tragedy of 9/11. On a happier note I am off to find a sweater/coat for our grand-dog Dougie who looks a lot like your two although never as clean but that might be a boy thing.
Thinking of you and your family at this time.

Thank you for your post of being on the lake yesterday. It was a beautiful day just like it was 15 years ago. I am a survivor of the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. Fortunately, I was in a part of the Pentagon that wasn’t destroyed. It’s something you will never forget. On a happier note, I am glad that Maddie and Zoe found a good home with your sister-in-law. Your fur babies Chloe and Gracie are so precious and I know they bring a smile to you and your husband’s face.
