Although, usually I am not a fan of the ghoulish side of Halloween, your mix of bright and happy with some darkness is delightful.

I seldom take the time to comment, but this post is just so creative and fun, I had to share a word of gratitude. I’m kind of past decorating for Halloween, but this is delightful! You never cease to amaze with your inspiration, regardless of the season or holiday, or ordinary day. The spider napkin ring on the garden fork posed on the warty pumpkin is priceless! Thank you, Mary.

Question. Since your potting shed is so awesomely decorated, do you do as much in your home? Always, always look forward to your post. Thanks for sharing. And by the way when I saw the magazine I immediately thought that looked like your shed minus all the extras. No one can duplicate your design. Cheers

  32. October 15, 2018 at 5:56 pm

Oh Mary, I Love what you’ve done with the shed. It’s wickedly spooktacular.

  33. October 15, 2018 at 5:59 pm

Lovin’ all the fun colors Mary! You used my favorite warty pumpkins and favorite blingy napkin rings, they look great together:@)

  34. October 15, 2018 at 6:20 pm

Mary, I know I sound like a broken record, but I marvel at your continued creative styling with each new post. Your canny ability to find just the perfect props amazes me. I love the garden tool hand!!! Have always been intrigued with the saying, “a murder of crows.” I have a set of kitchen towels with the saying.
Thanks for a fun visit to Hawthorne Garcens!
    PS
Melli Mello is “Méli Mélo” in French and means a mishmash, a little of this, a little of that. Perfect name for the pattern on the plates.
