I’m at the table with scattered leaves, turkeys, and Pfaltzgraff Autumn Berry Dinnerware.

Our leaves typically don’t start to turn in our part of North Carolina until the end of October. I did manage to spy the first sign of fall color to come in a few leaves from our maple tree, turned more from the stress of a dry summer than cool weather.
A Harvest Scattered Leaves Tablecloth and Napkins from Kohl’s provides a foundation for the table to coordinate with the fall colors of the dinnerware.

How PRETTY, Mary!! The whole scene captures the essence of autumn! I think those turkey napkin rings may now go on my shopping list, since I’ve been asked to “do” Thanksgiving at my house this year. I think my DD is just trying to keep me busy.

It looks like you are ready for Turkey Day! Lovely table, Mary. No, we don’t get color this early, still very summery here. We did get rain for the first time in a month. I think the drought this summer will diminish the Fall colors. The leaves are shriveled.
Mary, I would love your advice. I am so tempted by colored glassware, but have always been afraid to use it. If you fill it with anything but water or white wine I am afraid the refraction would make it look muddy brown. What has been your experience? Any color you find that works better than another?

Even though I have been reluctantly accepting the arrival of Fall, I’m not quite ready for turkeys! This put a scare into me! They do look wonderful in the falling leaves though, and I am crazy about the turkey serveware! I guess it is time to start thinking and planning for Thanksgiving, I don’t host this year so I will just be enjoying all the turkey table tops! Love your gorgeous leaf photos Mary, we won’t see turning leaves for a month or so…

Fall has BLOWN in to this neck of the woods like crazy! Yesterday and today are COOL!!! It was 57 when I woke up and VERY windy. It is up to 67 now. BUT, it is going back to the 80’s the rest of the week. I am looking online for that hostess set but can’t find it for less than $80.00. Do you have a better source? I LOVE that tablecloth and napkins. I have a gift card for Kohls so will be going there soon:) Gorgeous table once again.

It seems like they run a 25% off sale every few days. It would be worth signing up and maybe getting a free shipping offer too. :)

Oh, I wish I had the storage space that you do for all those wonderful special dishes! I am also in NC, in the western mountains, and the color is just beginning here. We will peak about mid-October most years. Here’s hoping for rain for both of us! Beautiful autumn leaves in your photo archive, we are supposed to have a really good year for color this year.

Love, love, love your table setting with the autumn leaves and turkey tableware. It’s too soon for a change of leaves here which usually occurs the end of October and the beginning of November. We did have a couple of cool days but temperatures will be back in the 80’s through the weekend.

I love this table setting and am going to check Kohl’s for that tablecloth that would go perfectly with the harvest dishes I purchased last year. You think of everything, down to the chargers resembling turkey tail feathers…and they do! Beautiful setting, Mary. Pinky and I live less than 15 minutes apart so you already have the scoop on our crazy weather here in southeastern PA.
Mary, I’m beginning to think about turkey already as I am hosting (again!). I love the contrast of the dishes with the chargers and the napkin rings. I’m also on the hunt for the turkey hostess serving set! Our leaves have started to turn along the top edges of the trees and we’ve had one night that was cold enough for some of that cider, but back up to the mid 80s this week. My sinuses do not like these temperature swings! Linda
The turkey hostess set is available on Ebay!! It’s listed for $65….as opposed to Amazon for $10,000!! There has to be some type of error there :)

I just love the Wallace serving pieces! They are fabulous for a gift! The plates are really fun too. They would make such a statement for Thanksgiving. Of course the setting is fabulous!

Loved this setting, but my favorite is still Churchill’s Queens Turkey and Wildlife pattern. Tuesday Mornings has this china pattern on sale presently so I have been able to add to my pattern. Got my idea of this china pattern from you some years back and love,love,love. Will bake up some of the delicious looking Pecan, Cranberry crackers as they look beautiful .
These dishes have such a pretty retro feel to them. I just love that platter. I can just picture a beautiful turkey on it. Lovely setting!
