Happy Leap Day and Big Mouth Frog Cupcakes!

Happy Leap Day!

Leap Day Porch and Big Mouth Frog Cupcakes

February’s calendar has an extra day this year so I’m sharing a little froggy fun from the archives in celebration!

I’m ready to leap into March. . .

Anticipating gardening time. . .

Ready to spring forward. . .

Anticipating the bloom . . .

And ready for porch weather!

I had a little froggy fun with Cupcakes, Cookies & Pie, Oh, My!

And Mouth Frog Cupcakes for a Leap Year celebration.

There are easy to follow directions to assemble these cupcakes~ using Jordan almonds, M&M’s, fruit chews & fruit leather to make these double-decker croakers :)

Beautiful table. Adore frogs real or otherwise. You are going into spring soon and we are going into autumn( or fall as you refer to it in the USA) and I can’t wait for some cool weather but spring is my favorite when all the little reed frogs return to my pond. They are about to leave till 23rd September. So enjoy the lovely season coming up.

The frog cupcakes are fabulous but how can you eat the little croaker? He’s just too cute to bite into!!! Tea pot and tray are perfect. I need a tray! What is Drulane?

    • February 29, 2016 at 7:33 am

Hi Sandi, Drulane is the manufacturer, I’m not sure if they’re still around. The tray is from my retail days that I’ve had 10+ years. Happy Leap Day! :)

Mary, I don’t recall seeing this before. These are adorable! I will share this with my sister for an idea for a future birthday party for the grands. Your gardening books and tools make me long for spring. It won’t be long. ;-)

Hi Mary, Only you could be so very clever to show us frogs today! I love the teapot and the extremely amazing cupcakes, and I’m wondering what happened to my flower pot like your green one? I must dig around in the garage! As usual, you have me thinking about something new today! Happy Leap Day! Linda
