We Interrupt This Blog. . .

We interrupt this blog due to finger trauma. A trip to Urgent Care & six stitches later, I am happy to report that my finger survived, but my friend Ginny’s sweet grandmother’s (Meemaw) glass pedestal did not :-(

It put up a good fight, it was wickedly sharp.

I have all 10 fingers, but not another vintage cut-glass pedestal~ if we all can pause for a moment of silence. . .

At least it is immortalized in Blogland~ may it rest in peace (or pieces).

If I’m tardy in replying & visiting, please don’t hold it against me~ I’m temporarily impaired.

Oh, no! Sorry about the pedestal but I’m glad you are okay. My hubby cut that same finger a week ago and it really needed stitches, but he didn’t go. Those finger cuts can sure bleed!

Take it easy and have a great weekend!

Oh Mary, I am so sorry about your accident. Hope it heals quickly. I know it must be very sore. You must be devastated about the lovely crystal pedestal. I know your friend is more concerned about your injury that the plate. Take care ! CE

Oh dear. Sorry about your finger and the plate.
Interestingly, the silver pedestal basket in the picture is the same as my mom’s footed basket. I love the cut out pattern. This was a first to see another piece like it.
    Hope you heal quickly!
Linda @ bushel and a pickle.
