Just the weather alone makes me want to

abandon ship and head for the hills!

A return visit to

Grandfather Vineyard and Winery

was on our ‘to do’ list.

I recommend the Cab Franc Rosé~

Love that wine rain chain! How cool is that? Are you one of the three lovely ladies standing together? It looks like a fun trip and thanks for the recommendation of a new place to visit.

Yes I lived the rain chain too… It also had an alternating cluster if grapes on it that I failed to photograph. I’m behind the lens not in front of it :)

That shot, with the lone Adirondack chair in the vineyard, looks like it is straight out of The Godfather movie! In fact, the vineyards in the mountains remind me of Italy so much. Fun memories…thanks!

GREAT looking gals in that group shot….which one is YOU? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a photo of you before!!

Nice looking ladies, and if one of them is you, I know which one I’d bet is you! Are you going to keep us in suspense?

I lived in Winston-Salem for two years, and would occasionally go to the mountains. Why didn’t I ever visit the wineries? LOL What a beautiful spot! I seem to frequent the New York and California wineries ;o) What a beautiful day you had with friends!

What a very charming vineyard and the sceneries are stunning. It must be so nice to sit by the stream while sipping wine. I felt relaxed just reading about it.
