I’m enjoying some garden-inspired dining with
Sweetest Day Dinnerware by Pfaltzgraff.
Sweetest Day brings the vibrant life of a garden to your table. Charmingly casual with the fresh feel of a summer day, a honeycomb border buzzes with activity with bees and blooms of red, orange, and blue flowers.
Yellow check napkins are tied with a picot edge ribbon and in lieu of napkin rings, just-picked blossoms of yellow bidens and blue lobelia, flower on the bows.
A playful plaid tablecloth provides a colorful landscape for the dinnerware, used at the table previously with a harvest of veggies and reliable seeds.
Quattro Stagioni canning jars were discovered at an unlikely apiary, T.J. Maxx, a couple of months ago, so I made a beeline for the check out counter!
The bee skep design is ideal for a
just-picked bouquet from the garden.
Crafted of stoneware, Sweetest Day Dinnerware is as hard-working as a bee busily gathering nectar. A cake plate provides a pedestal for a bee skep as a centerpiece for the table.
A flowering vase of slender arching Gooseneck Loosestrife, Black-eyed Susans, and Queen Anne’s Lace grace each place setting for a sweet and cottage-style bouquet.

sprout from the top!
A soup/cereal bowl holds 24 ounces when it’s not playfully serving as a pedestal for a mini bee skep :)

Those dishes have some of my favorite colors and are just made for the garden table, if that makes sense. Of all the pretties, and there are many, the thing I love the most for some reason is the simple gingham napkin tied with the bow and flower. That is just so lovely to me.

Another great table and beautiful setting. The four small arrangements with the bee motif on the jars are charming with the cottage style flowers. I love learning from you. Today, I recognized the flower gooseneck loosestrife but now I know it’s name. Also, I am glad to learn what type ribbon you used to tie your napkin.

Mary, this is a happy setting! Of course I’m smiling at all the bee details, and eagerly awaiting a delivery of a set of those cute canning jars. I place an order on Amazon when I saw them on your previous post. I searched for some brown gingham napkins for my Brown Cow table, but didn’t find any. I thought they would add a bit of country charm. Your picot edged ribbon napkin rings are such a sweet country touch. You think of everything. I hope Pfaltzgraff does a book or catalog of your gorgeous tables set with their products.
Love your bee-themed table, and your special touches add vibrance and beauty. The dishes are gorgeous. We use canning jars for everything (even biscuit cutting), but they would be darling for lemonade or iced tea. I’ve got to look them up. Thanks for providing eye candy, inspiration, and joy.

Well Mary, I say this all the time, but this is another one of my favorites. :-D You really are amazing! I absolutely love these dishes — the pattern is so pretty and summery. I love everything you’ve done on this table. One of my favorite things in summer is to put fresh flowers in mason jars, and this is such a pretty mason jar. I adore Queen Anne’s Lace; I always want to pick them from the fields, but my mom always said they had chiggers when we were growing up, so now I’m afraid to pick them. :) Love your gingham napkins with the flower and the bee skep. I have a bee skep in our kitchen, and it’s one of my treasures. I hunted for one for over two years, and of course found it when I’d stopped looking.

Oh this is such a sweet and happy summer table. I can only imagine how pleasing it is to sit here and enjoy the lovely scenery. Those plates are beautiful and perfect for this setting as are the jars filled with summer flowers. This looks like a magazine spread!

Lovely use of flowers as place decorators rather than the traditional centerpiece. This is a very fun setting. The colors are pretty and the pattern, plaid and check mix is lovely.
