Happy 4th of July Mary, I love the soft blue of the hydrangeas! Looks like we’re in for a wet one, they’ve already pushed the fireworks back to tomorrow night in Philly. Have a fun day:@)

So gorgeous Mary! The Waterlogue post that you put out a few months ago has really gotten my interest in learning to watercolor stirred up again! Thanks for the inspiration!!! You are a blessing to all! Happy 4th!!

Beautiful post … love the waterlogue! I hope you aren’t too close to the coast and Arthur won’t disrupt your holiday weekend. Sail on!

Beautiful, Mary! God bless America! Pouring here, everything cancelled. We really needed rain, too bad it was today though.

Red, white, and blue feast for the eyes! Happy Fourth of July weekend! Hope you get to go for a ride in the boat with Chloe and Gracie!

  26. July 5, 2014 at 5:24 am

Mary, I was hoping the hurricane did not affect you! The rain and wind cancelled our picnic plans but we will try again. Your transfer ware is so pretty and unusual and your red, white and blue flowers add the perfect patriotic touch. No hydrangeas here yet so I am really loving yours! Have a wonderful weekend. Linda

  27. July 5, 2014 at 6:41 am

How PRETTY, Mary!! Lovely vignettes to celebrate the 4th…or any other holiday, for that matter.
My hydrangeas are all PINK…I need to find out what to feed them to make them that pretty periwinkle blue. Just beautiful!

  28. July 7, 2014 at 9:45 am

Your beautiful transferware couldn’t be more perfect for the timeless hydrangea blooms, and with the flags you have captured an old fashioned hometown feel that shouts USA! Hope you had a great 4th!

I seen several tables with the hydrangeas, they are so pretty, guess I may have to try my hand next year. Your post is so Southern looks as tho it would fit right in in an old Colonial home.

  30. July 7, 2014 at 11:10 pm

Beautiful! I don’t know why I’ve never used transferware in my 4th of July tablescaping. It’s such a natural winner, especially the way you have it displayed here with those gorgeous hydrangea at every turn.
