A Fall Table with Pumpkins

DSC_6326-001

I’m at the table with a celebration of pumpkins and

Pfaltzgraff Delaney Dinnerware!

DSC_6416-001

Pfaltzgraff Delaney Dinnerware provides a classic blank canvas for the table,

with ivory embossed bordered plates, ideal for any season or occasion.

A burlap tablecloth provides a neutral foundation for the table,

topped with a linen runner, and a crewel embroidered pumpkin

providing a seasonal pop of color.

An urn provides a pedestal to elevate a Fairytale pumpkin,

along with a medley of smaller pumpkins and gourds for an easy

and casual centerpiece for the table.

It’s rimmed with a ring of maple leaves, provided by Mother Nature,

and the first leaves to turn with their crimson display of color here.

Crafted of earthenware, Delaney 12 ounce mugs and creamer and sugar

are ready to serve your Pumpkin Spice Latte!

And Pfaltzgraff Linden flatware provides a little understated elegance with its

polished finish and details, in contrast to the nubby texture of the burlap.

Mikasa French Countryside goblets echo the ribs on the pumpkins with

their graceful bell shape, complementing the Delaney mugs and dinnerware.

Delaney footed bowls, a handy 28 ounce size and a 1 3/4 quart vegetable bowl,

are serving up a tiger striped pumpkin.

Very pretty Mary, what a great table runner! Lovin’ the color variation in the pumpkin furthest to the left in the second pic! The orange almost looks like little hearts:@)

I like the simplicity of the dinner wear! It allows one to decorate the table for the occasion .nice table runner, too!

  3. October 13, 2014 at 7:25 am

Love this pattern Mary! Beautiful Fall table! I miss the table on our porch. Maybe we should do something about that.:-)

Versatile design on the dinnerware, it could go from casual to formal to modern with the straight lines~ and of course pumpkins give it a lot of pop!! Love all your pumpkin varieties Mary, sitting with the new fallen red leaves~and the embroidered pumpkin runner is so pretty over the burlap like tablecloth! We are finally seeing colorful leaves in Bham, but spent the weekend swimming on the coast in high 80’s weather, so your table has put me in the fall mood again…have a great week!

I can only imagine how much fun you have gathering for each and every table. Fall leaves do come in handy, and right now I have plenty from which to choose. Using them on the table beats raking!

What a classic pattern, Mary, that can be used for any season. Your centerpiece with the urn holding the pumpkin is so easy and perfect! I love that crewel embroidered runner from Home Goods for a pop of Fall color.

White dishes are so important to have. I am beginning to realize that after all these years and have started collecting them. You have shown them off beautifully with this lovely, seasonal table. Nice!

please, please, please….never change your style of photography!! Your images are always gorgeous with such clear focus. As a photographer myself, I know we have to go with change but I am so tired of seeing all the filters…all the “manipulation” …oh wait, sorry….I’m supposed to say “enhancement”…blech, I so love a crystal clear image that is true to its owners eye. Exactly what was seen, not what the computer was told to see.

Eeek….ok. off my soapbox now! Your styling talent cannot be matched, which in turn rolls over to your photographic skills. You have no idea what a pleasure to come here and be uplifted with each and every new post
    Thanks for that!!

Mary, I LOVE this table. I also LOVE white dishes, but the one thing that caught my eye was the perfect pumpkin atop the urn. I love it!! You have such an eye for detail!

Oh, how wonderful to have leaves of crimson fall about your feet. Everything here is either green or brown. Texas, what can I say? ;-)
The Delaney dinnerware is gorgeous. Can’t beat a set of white dishes. Beautiful table, Mary.

Wonderfull, Mary! Love the dinnerware and linens. That runner is an eye catcher! You always have such great ideas.

  27. October 16, 2014 at 6:43 pm

Such a beautifully traditional Autumn table! The dishes are obviously versatile, but when I glanced at your first picture and saw the way the sunlight bounced off of the embossed design, I thought “spiderweb”! I guess these plates really ARE versatile, and they’ll take you right into Halloween. :-)

Beautiful centerpiece! Love your linens and it is all gorgeous with the Pfaltzgraff.

  29. October 16, 2014 at 11:31 pm

Fabulous use of the white dishes – not a colour one thinks of in fall but they add great contrast. The burlap tablecloth and crewel pumpkin on the runner are a wonderful combination for the backdrop to your lovely tablescape.

  30. October 19, 2014 at 9:29 pm

Beautiful, Mary! Love the crisp look of it all. I see you get some celebs here, lol!
