You have the most marvelous collection of plaid throws & tablecloths! I am so envious of that brilliant orange throw and have been searching for those colors in vain.
Another wonderful and inventive post..we Southerners do have the most spectacular seasons, don’t we?
Good morning! Yes, we are ready for fall!🍂 this is the hottest summer ever!! A lot of rain and heat , makes for a wish for a cool Fall. Pumpkin recipes, soups and comfort food! Oh, yes, I’m ready! Enjoy your week. Looking forward to your next post.
I am with you sister! So tired of the heat and humidity. I want to go outside with a sweater and enjoy a nice walk.
I want to be able to enter a room before my hair…it is huge and frizzy because of the humidity. Looking forward to your new fall posts, and of course, the antics of Chole and Grace.
We in the Midwest are ready for cooler weather and we got it!! Last week and this week lows in the 50s & highs in the 70s. It’s refreshing!! For us, it was a rainy summer that washed out a lot of flowers & crops..therefore, I will be pulling out flower stalk, corn stalks and putting in some mums..thanks for the beautiful fall pictures..it is the most photogenic time!! 😍😍😍🍁🍁🍁
Yes, yes, yes, I’m so ready to say a farewell to summer and enjoy the reward of fall. That was such a great quote that you shared at the beginning of your post, Mary!! This post is bitter sweet for me here in Phoenix. It has been a hot summer but we all know here that we are several months from any real relief. It can be 100 degrees for Halloween so my daughter and I have our Annual Halloween Party for 60 some children in the evening. We are in the planning stages so pumpkins, leaves and other fall items are in our forefront. Your pictures are so glorious and the harvest garland is something I hope to accomplish for our Thanksgiving Feast this year. Thank you for all of your inspiration!
Fall is my favorite time of year as well, and I wish it lasted longer!!!! Like right through winter:):) This is so inspiring, so many gorgeous posts. I can’t wait to start using MY Mikasa Autumn Nights dishes!!! I will revisit several of these posts later. I sure wish I knew how to do this: that is put the link under a picture to take you to that post. I don’t know how. Have a BEAUTIFUL week!!!

Oh, how wonderful to think about fall! I am waiting and waiting. I looked back at pictures yesterday to try to figure out when pumpkins may show up in the markets. In about 3 weeks? I know I have a long wait for the temps to match the pumpkins but these beautiful photos sure help!
Mary, your harvest of archive images is filled with inspiration, but with our hot days lingering it is difficult to even think about fall. Summer is such a short season in Maine that we want fall to hold off as long as possible even though it brings colors and textures that are favorites.
