To make this centerpiece, you’ll need Peeps, candy for filler and two vases~ one vase smaller and shorter than the other. I used a set of square vases I found at Michaels with a 40% off weekly coupon, but you can use round vases too.
I used jelly beans that look like speckled eggs and bunny Peeps for this easy to assemble Easter centerpiece! Center one vase inside the other and place your jelly beans or candy of your choice between the walls of your vases.
And for fun I added some Peeps to peek out among the flowers on bamboo skewers!
There is no right or wrong way to make this centerpiece. . . use all one color or multiple colors of Peeps, or let your Peeps multiple like bunnies and arrange them in multiple rows!
After your Easter Peeps are assembled add water to your inner vase and add your flowers. I used some long-lasting alstroemeria from the grocery store, along with some tulips (not so long-lasting :)
Since I’d rather play with my Peeps than eat them, I can replace the flowers and enjoy the vase for the next three weeks between now and Easter.
Or if you’re like a lot of Peeps-fans, your Peeps will be deliciously stale to enjoy after Easter!
I have a fun new book to giveaway, courtesy of QuartoCooks, Peeps-a-licious!
