Here we are sitting outside on your porch having tea this morning. Good Morning, Mary.
The butterflies are joining us as well. What a beautiful tea! The MKC Butterfly Toile pieces are so lovely. The little teacups with the butterfly handles are darling. And that vase is a show stopper!
I have never had Paris from Harney and Sons. I will be giving it a try, thank you.
And the lemon tartlets look amazing! I love lemon. Those are going to be in my cart very soon.
Thanks so much for the delicious tea today. And thanks for having me be a guest. I am always delighted to be part of Tea on Tuesdays. Have a lovely Tuesday!

Good morning Mary and Happy Tuesday! I am totally smitten with your MacKenzie-Childs Butterfly Toile collection and its debut today! Oh how I would enjoy Harney & Sons Paris tea in a cup with the butterfly-shaped handle 🦋 April Cornell’s ‘Felicity Rose’ is a charming background for your butterfly theme. The MKC black and white Mei Ping Vase is so unusual and perfect for snowball viburnum and azalea blooms. Publix is a great source for tea goodies with no fuss. I took the short cut method also. Butterfly napkin rings add a lovely finish to your lovely tea on the porch!

It is always a pleasure to join you for our Tea On Tuesdays 🦋🩷🦋

I so wish I could join you on your porch or my porch or any porch but right now in central VA it is 30 unbelievable degrees! Had to cover many of my veggies and some herbs last night. Had a winter coat on to feed the chicks this am. So I am sitting inside drinking tea with a puppy on my lap wanting warmer weather. I so enjoy all your posts! Have a wonderful day!

Wow, you bought smartly from the barn sale, Mary. Thays gorgeous. I love the handle on the cup, and butterflies have come very early here this spring! The AC tablecloth is a beautiful contrast to the black & white. For a minute, I thought you had a Parchment Check toil cover on your bench seat, then saw it was a gorgeous quilt. All the treats are perfect for this spring tea, especially with our cool temps this morning. I love the added touches of the chocolate dip & pistachios and lemon glaze. Happy Tuesday Tea!

A lovely table Mary with Mackenzie Childs Butterfly Toile. I bought the same things at the barn sale. I haven’t set a table as of yet. I love the butterfly handles on the cups. A cup of tea with the Paris tea would be delightful with those yummy treats. The MKC vase is so different and looks fabulous with your azalea and snowball viburnum.

Oh Mary, your debut of your MKC toile dishes makes for a beautiful tea today!! How perfect they are with the accents of butterflies and on your pretty April Cornell cloth. I love your idea of using shortcuts for an easy tea, too, and I’ll look for those tarts. How I’d love to spend time with you on your cozy porch. May you have a lovely week as you always make ours lovely with your inspiration. 😘

Good Tuesday Morning Mary, This is a lovely tea on the porch. I too love your MKC Butterfly toile pieces, and have some as well. I especially love the teapot and have regretted not getting one. Their butterfly candleholders really complement the toile pieces also.
What in the world did we do before Publix? Thanks for showing us your special added tricks.

Such a pretty table! I tend to stress when I throw a tea party and feel I have to make everything from scratch. Perhaps I should take a page from your book next time and serve some prepared treats. They all look yummy.

Visiting you from Nancy’s site. What a lovely tea table you set! I love how you shared ideas to not have to cook everything from scratch but use some things from the grocery. Your table decor is perfect and lovely! Many blessings to you!

Mary, Your tea on the porch is absolutely beautiful! Love that cute butterfly pillow! Your MC items are gorgeous! The butterflies on the cups and on the napkin rings are so delicate. I adore the vase. It’s pretty and makes the floral bouquet even more outstanding! The treats look and sound delicious. Enjoy your day. Clara❤️

Mary your porch tea time with butterflies is so lovely. (as is your store bought modified treats). You are much more creative than I am…I would just plop the store bought on a tray and call it good but you go that extra mile and make them special. Thanks for sharing how easy it is to make tea time special. MKC is always a good thing and yours are so pretty. Have a wonderful week!

  11. April 22, 2026 at 6:25 pm

Mary, I’m ready to have tea with the butterflies. The MKC Butterfly Toile tea service resides in my cupboard as well. It’s such an elegant set, but I admit I don’t use it as often as I should. I need to pull it out to display, so I use it more often. Thanks for the heads up on the lemon tartlets. New to me! You know I’m always eager for an easy sweet treat. As always every detail is full of charm. Hope you are feeling better.
