I’m lakeside at the table with the vibrant collection of Villa della Luna Dinnerware by Pfaltzgraff.
Villa della Luna by Pfaltzgraff was created as a magical collection of dinnerware and accessories based on the art of Jana Kolpen and Mary Tiegreen in ‘Dancing with the Moon, a Story of Love at the Villa della Luna’. The centuries-old traditions of Italian ceramics are honored in the colors, designs and craftsmanship of every piece.
Villa della Luna fleur bowls have a warm terra cotta interior, filled with an assortment of decorative pasta for the table.
A tablecloth with a stylized paisley pattern provides a foundation for the table, with a similar acanthus leaf found in the border of the Villa della Luna plates and mugs.
Cheery Sunflowers, synonymous with Tuscany, fill an urn as a centerpiece along with some Purple Statice, also known as Sea Lavender, that might be found growing on the rugged Italian coast near Villa della Luna in Dancing with the Moon.
Peach lilies with yellow accents (Inca Ice Alstroemeria) join coleus and loropetalum, clipped from a planter and shrubs to add some burgundy accents and filler in the centerpiece.
Chargers in a terra cotta shade frame the dinnerware while plaid napkins add some additional pattern and color to the table.
Capri Frost flatware by Pfaltzgraff has a scalloped handle to pair with the chargers.
Villa della Luna dessert bowls are also conveniently sized for serving condiments, dips or snacks.
Acrylic tumblers are available and lightweight, designed for durability for easy summer entertaining. . .

Bella, Bella, Mary!! Since I’m 1/2 Italian, and that part comes out the most, I love your table..the vase you have is surely direct from Italia!!! Those plates would look a lot better with a big helping of my spaghetti & meatballs or lasagna and a caprese salad…LOL!! Villa della Luna is one of my favorite dishware collections Mary, I purchased some after seeing it on your blog several years ago when the Novel Bakers were reading “Dancing with the Moon.” I fell in love with the colors and bold pattern and have been amazed by how versatile this pattern is! I would have never dreamed to pair it with a patterned cloth, but it looks great! Your centerpiece is just perfect with it as usual :) I haven’t seen the chargers, dessert bowls and the plastic pieces, they must be new? LOVE the cobalt glasses! Happy week,

How on earth you are able to create tablescape after tablescape, each one so unique & different from the last just amazes me, Mary! I adore blue & yellow together (have a quilt in mind to make out of those colors).

You can so easily transport us with your tablescapes, and I love that. The geese, on the other hand, I despise. We chase them constantly from our riverbank (sorry to those who may love them, but when you’re faced with their immeasurable amounts of waste, you’d soon grow tired of their presence, too).
Visiting you, I’m always able to be taken away to some dreamy destination, Mary! Your tablescape is stunning with that pretty dinnerware, and your bouquet of flowers in the urn is spectacular. I loved your photo with the ducks in the background, swimming in the water. However, I can understand why you can’t eat at your pretty table with your uninvited guests that show up!

Mary, I always love your table settings and other creative displays. I notice you use an oblong table cloth on your round table – what a great idea. Round cloths are hard to find in the right size and don’t stay “even” on the table. Thank you for your wonderful inspiration and the beauty you bring to everyday life! Keep it coming!!! GG in Florida

Mary, I feel as if I’ve had a little get away to Italy. Your table is full of Italian beauty. Though it actually isn’t set in Italy, the lake side setting definitely fools the eye. The ambiance is certainly swoon worthy. The way you perfectly framed the table within the leaves of the tree could be a perfect book cover for the series.

This is a beautiful pattern! I love the colors and design. I have always LOVED that urn, it is gorgeous. Where did you find that? I am sure it was a long time ago. LOVE those chargers and will look at Pier 1 for them. Another beautiful table, Mary.
Just beautiful–thank you for sharing. It’s a lovely setting by the lake for eating lunch or dinner. However, like you, I wouldn’t want to share it with the geese. The sunflowers add a sunny touch to the table.
