We’ve had a couple of weeks of 60 and 70 degree temperatures here in North Carolina and we’ll be on the cusp of 80 degrees today. . . time to put away the boots and pull out the flip flops! I can’t remember a February when we considered turning on the A/C. Mother Nature may have some more winter in store before spring officially arrives, but with the trees budding and daffodils blooming, I have spring, bunny and garden fever!
If you’re in need of some retail therapy, I pulled together some things that are tempting my wallet and eye candy from catalogs arriving in my mailbox and inbox. I provided the links for convenience but be warned: turn away now to avoid temptation. ;)
Sculpted Garden Bunnies from Grandin Road
I love the mossy-bronze finish of these bunnies and especially the ones standing at attention! They’d be fun to tuck in the garden or on the porch for spring and these bunnies won’t nibble on your flowers. ;)
I’m always ready for a new welcome mat when spring rolls around, especially by the Potting Shed. This colorful Birdhouse Outdoor Mat from Grandin Road is perfect for spring nesting. I love the Spring Bloom Mat too at the top of the page with the hummingbird and flowers.
Note: Grandin Road is offering FREE SHIPPING SITEWIDE + 30% OFF BED & BATH, 20% OFF INDOOR DECOR/WALL ART/RUGS & 15% OFF INDOOR FURNITURE through 2/27 (some exclusions apply)
Le Jardin Botanique from Pier 1
I love this French inspired botanical garden plaque with flowering bulbs, butterflies, dragonflies and bunny! It’s a companion to the Jardin de Legumes plaque that was sold out last year when I shared my bunny and veggie table in the Potting Shed.
In the Potting Shed: Jardin de Legumes and Bunnies
Field Notes Bird Dinnerware from Pier 1
Spring nesting for the table with sweet birds and twig flatware available too!
Pier 1: SPRING MAKEOVER SALE 20% OFF SELECT CATEGORIES through Feb. 26th and free shipping on $49 with code FREESHIP (some exclusions apply)
I was happy to see these Majolica Bunny Salad Plates from Pottery Barn this spring. I have a gift card from Christmas burning a whole in my pocket and they coordinate with a set of Majolica Bird Salad Plates.
You can find them at the table here:
Summer’s Last Hurrah with Hydrangeas and Majolica
Farmer Bunny Wheelbarrow Serve Bowl from Pottery Barn
I love this wheelbarrow-toting bunny. . . any salad would taste better served this way ;)
How about Bunny Napkin Rings for your Easter or spring table from Williams-Sonoma?
Damask Bunny Napkins
This Nordic Ware Easter Bunny Cake Pan from Williams-Sonoma makes a large bunny and small egg cake for an edible centerpiece for your Easter table.
There is also a Nordic Ware Mini Easter Bunny Cakelet Pan that makes six mini cakes in three different bunny shapes. I told myself “no more pans” since I don’t have any kitchen storage space, but that cute carrot border detail makes you want to keep the pan out on display in the kitchen!
Spring Garden Salad Plates from Williams-Sonoma are available again this year with bunnies, birds and butterflies and a blue sky border. You can see them at my Easter table here, with a pastel quilted coverlet, azalea blooms in egg cups and chocolate bunny and candy egg centerpiece.
Feast you eyes on all the finery in the MacKenzie-Childs Spring Catalog!
When I win the lottery, I’m ordering one of everything ;)
Here are a few goodies that caught my eye:
Morning Glory Gardening Tool Set from MacKenzie-Childs
Almost too pretty to dig in the dirt with!
Thistle & Bee Dinnerware. . .
Swoon!
I’m all aflutter with this coordinating Thistle & Bee Serving Platter
Berries & Blossoms Picnic Hamper for Two
You can picnic or tailgate in style with this wicker basket picnic hamper, complete with Berries & Blossoms plates, cutlery, napkins, and wine glasses.
Who wouldn’t love this Courtly Check Rabbit with basket to hop their way?!
Mrs. Powers Garden Gate
The ultimate garden gate, complete with blooming flowers, curlicues, and bells!
And how fun are these tuteurs for climbing vines or tomatoes in your garden?
Hope you’re enjoying some spring-like temperatures where you are!

Metamorphosis Monday
Love everything!!! Thanks for the look into Spring. Have a great weekend.xoxo
Oh how I love your “retail therapy” suggestions…love ALL of it!…Your hydrangea and Majolica tablescape is breathtaking!….and must say that one of the shops I have to visit when I am in NYC is the MacKenzie-Childs store…a magical place!!! Have a great weekend Mary!…enjoy the weather!
Loved everything! We’ve had several days of lovely Spring weather. Will check out more items on the web page for MacKenzie-Childs! Really like the checkered rabbit! Thanks for all the great ideas & beautiful Spring dishes, garden items, & tableware. Just lovely.
Oh, that garden gate! It’s way out of my league, but it is exactly what I would have if I were a rich lady instead of a semi retired teacher/ antique vendor. And bunnies…I love them . You could shop for me anytime!
I swear I’ve got to unlike this page before I go broke!!! LOL What don’t I absolutely love on this page? Nothing! Gorgeous, adorable, cute, pretty, sweet…….I’me getting ready to move and everything is going into storage and we’re traveling for at least a year. So I have to settle for bookmarking these sites and hopefully the items will still be there for me to buy when I get back and set up housekeeping again instead of living out of hotels and B & Bs.
The glasses with the thistle and bee serving platter…..where did you buy them?
Love everything, especially the majolica plates. I am a huge fan of majolica. Just wouldn’t know where to store and where to find the money! LoL….love it all though.
That MacKenzie-Childs catalogue sucked me right in. I love their things.
My friend shared your site with me…..I love it!!!
Oh my, I had seen almost everything you pointed out except that thistle & bee dinnerware. Mary, it’s insane the amount of stuff I have and yet still want more. When I saw that wheelbarrow-toting bunny/salad bowl from PB it reminded me of my Mariposa wheelbarrow I have – definitely one of my faves.
It’s 80° here today too – even if we have jolt of cold, there’s no denying spring is here already. Have a great weekend.
Rita
Grandin Road is a favorite catalog of mine, we have so many of their items in our home.
Be still my heart ….LOVE IT ALL! I should have turned back …haha.. Pinned several things for future birthday, and Christmas ideas. The garden gate topped it all, right? It reached 68 here on the thumb of MI yesterday, which is CRAZY for Feb., but I’m loving it. Even did some extra cleanup of my Hosta bed behind the garage. I know it will turn cold again, but the hint of Spring is wonderful and does set our hearts a flutter. Thanks Mary for the inspiration. I’m decorating my mantel with bird houses and bunnies. :) Have a great weekend! CR
OMG!!! I love it all!!! I know about the caralogs I have started receiving them too!!! It’s hard not to just pick up the phone and say send me one if everything!! But, glad to know others can’t resist either!! Thanks for sharing!!! ❤🐝🦋🌼🍂🌷🍄🌺🐇
Those PB bunny serving pieces are too fun Mary! Enjoy the nice weather:@)
Love everything! But I really love the bunny majolica! I already have the birds I purchased years ago in an antique store. Just got to purchase the bunnies, thanks for the info!
Thanks so much! You always share the most magnificent eye candy and I think I’m drooling. ;)
So much fun, Mary, as if we were together on a shopping spree. I have wanted the MC garden gate for years. The Majolica bunny plates are keepers–I need to hop over and buy a few. I went to HG and Target the other day and came home with bunnies.
Love all things “bunny” and always love to read your posts! 🐰Trenda
Wow so many beautiful spring items, love them all.
I have the Mrs. Powers door knocker in brass on my front door. I don’t think MC makes it in brass anymore though. Saw the Mrs. Powers bell go for twice the price it sells on the website on an online estate auction the other day.. pretty funny.. people need to research before bidding! Talk about Spring Fever!
Oh my! Such wonderful eye candy! Love it all.
What a delightful collection of wonderful eye candy, Mary!! Loved each picture even more than the last one!
Almost helps with our weather…70º yesterday & SNOW today!!! I think Mother Nature is menopausal.
I recently had to explain the phrase “burning a whole in my pocket” to my grandkids. LOL They’d never heard the expression & take things so literally.
My goodness! I had to catch my breath to even get through these! How to choose?! Although the majolica bunnies are really high on my list ;) Thank you for this gorgeous inspiration!! xo, Andrea
What a wonderful and whimsical site!! Love all of your beautiful tableware and especially the bunnies!! Before you know it Easter will be here. It’s still very nice here as our area has had 70 degree plus weather for the past couple of days. Today is supposed to be around 70 but thunderstorms are predicted this afternoon. Of course tomorrow it will only be 50 degrees!! Enjoy your weekend Mary.
Mary, your retail therapy was perfect for an early morning. There are so many beautiful products on the market for spring. I do love the majolica, I bet I can find room for those salad plates. I still enjoy receiving catalogs in the mail. Thanks for sharing all these great finds!
I love your inspirations for Spring and MC is so one of my dream favorites…..Your post urged me to decorate my dining room table with forsythia, rabbits, eggs and moss balls….what a fun afternoon….thanks for inspiring me!
OMG Mary! Ha! Thanks a lot!! Just spent 200 at Pier One for the adorable bunny garden plates! Pitcher! Napkins ! lOVE IT! You ARE the SHOPPING GURU !
You are making it incredibly difficult for me to stick to my New Year’s resolution Mary, “Do NOT buy anything!” And I agree, when I win the lottery, one of everything from MacKenzie-Childs please!! I’ve found the best solution to not buying is to not shop…ok, now I feel faint…I did NOT just say that…Ok, whew, that’s better…maybe just a peek or two at Grandin Road and Pier 1…
So many delightful things featured for Spring! Thank you for sharing :-) My family and I just moved to NC last April after living in Ohio for a year and a half in the snow belt! I am loving the weather here so much and ready to get my garden started! Have a wonderful week! I love your blog :-)
Blessings,
Jill
OOOOOOOOOOOO you found my new weakness – MacKenzie-Childs. I’m like you, when I win the lottery I’m buying one of everything. Especially her new flatware!
Ooh Mary, how you are tempting me! The serving bunnies from W-S ar so cute and the picnic basket from McKenzie Child’s is wonderful. I love the Courtly Check rabbit, too. Thanks for sharing your springtime visions with us. I enjoyed shopping from my chair.
O.M.G. I just love everything … Pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, lovely. every word describes everything on this post. My favorite is the bunny salad plates.thank you for sharing.
