Hopping Up & Down the Bunny Trail

DSC_0024-001

 The weather, meteorologically-speaking,

has been Hopping Up and Down the Bunny Trail ~

DSC_0009-001

Unpredictable with some sunny days in the 60’s,

 cold & rainy days in the 20’s & 30’s,

followed by blustery days with wind advisories~

fortunately for us, no March snow.

The plum trees are dressed in pink blooms

and putting on  their annual show

despite the cold & windy weather.

I cut a few branches to enjoy

some blooms in my Potting Shed

before they blow away~

Up north, we have to force the cherry blossoms! In fact, the forsythia has not bloomed and we are in the 30’s today. Your photos make me feel that spring is really on the way…not just on the calendar!

Oh so pretty Mary! Crocus and early daffs here so far, that’s it. Love the tree blossoms, I think they’d have frozen/blown off in yesterday’s snow! Your spoon is truly smile worthy-enjoy:@)

The flowering branches from your plum tree look absolutely gorgeous and making it so spring~like in your home. All of the colors look so great together. I am so loving the dishes in your wooden tote as well as all of your rustic but elegant pieces. Thanks for some great eye candy today!

fun fun fun post, how darling to play the day away with flowers and bunnies~ i thought our gardens were in synch, but our plum trees bloom feb 1st, surprised to revisit them with you, but flowers year round anywhere are delightful :-) spent the day planting by the sea, i hear you on the bunny hop thermometer, 30s in the morn, 70s in the afternoon, IF tucked on the deck corner and out of the winds… today was breathtakingly beautiful, rain tomorrow, all the better to hit the nurseries~

Who knows these days what the weather will bring, but I have no complaints. Houston has been beautiful in this season of rebirth though the thermometer has dropped a bit the last couple of days. Peter Cottontail may hop no further than here when he sees how lovely it is.
