I love the smell of fresh hay but the site of those Daisies 🌼 is breath taking!! 😍. Did you plant those Daisies or did they just appear?? Beautiful just beautiful! 🌼🌾☺️
Your monogram looks great Mary, lots of activity and excitement during the baling for The Girls I’m sure! Oh and, as Cindy Lauper might say… Squirrels just wanna have fun:@)
I love daisies and had them in my wedding bouquet (actually they were daisy mums) :-) Your photos are beautiful and I love the haying photos as well. No haying here for a few weeks yet. Enjoy the day!
It’s a good thing that you were able to get some daisies to adorn your M before they disappeared! Aren’t daisies the most cheerful, happy flower? You’ve brought some cheer to me this morning with your lovely post.
Delightful, we have the daisies growing wild at the beach, I cringe when Scott mows them too… mine will make it to a tea party ;-) you are lucky living next to your field of dreams, it’s the perfect backdrop to all your cuteness.
Now this is about the cutest thing ever!! I am crazy for your blooming M Mary! And your cheery attitude! Love all the wonderful photos…infernal squirrels is a very nice way to put it! They dig up everything in our backyard! How lovely to be next to a field of daisies…

I can smell that hay, what a wonderful smell and it brings back so many memories of haying and making lunch for the “hay boys” – cake and cookies and bologna salad sandwiches and orange drink.
Love how you notice and celebrate the seasonal beauty all around you in your own unique way. Arrn’t wild flowers lovely, how joyous to be able to pick a field of flowers( (before mowed down ) :-))).
No one makes their posts come alive like you, Mary! Daisies are delightful! So are the scents & sights of hay mowing! Thanks for the inspiration. I love succulents too!
Beautiful live wreath…love Daisies…they are such a happy flower….(I so remember that line from “You’ve Got Mail”)…and yes, they are so happy!…Wow…that is a lot of hay!…I will have to search for my monogram like yours..love how you can add he floral foam…and those darn pesky squirrels…I spent a fortune getting rid of them in my attic!…They made a mess of chewing up A/C wires!!
Mary, this is such a fun idea, I hadn’t seen the succulents, but wow, these precious little daisies are adorable with the boxwood. Lucky you to find that letter. thanks for sharing how you did this. so cute, but then everything you do is amazing!! I’m featuring this post on my SYS post this evening!
Love your blog!! Really look forward to it every day! You are so fortunate to live in the South where everything that grows is on steroids!! I live in arid Reno, NV., and we have such a short growing season!
Mary, I always love to see what is happening with your “M” and this daisy monogram is just so happy! When I was growing up we had a field in our back yard and every spring the wildflowers would grow and we would rush to pick them before the farmer came to cut and bale. I can still smell that fresh-cut scent of the hay. Linda
