My family’s favorite dessert of all occasions is banana split cake!
Hi Mary, I have pinned three of your ‘scapes to my home ideas page. Thank you for so many years of fun, beauty you create, and the pups. Because of your blog, I’ve made lavender soaps for gifts, and owls with cable tummies, and a finger knit white wreath….which took me forever. love to all, Claudia
I pinned the second bunny tablescape but it was very hard to choose just one. You have really outdone yourself!
I make a bunny shaped cake each year for the grandkids. They love it!
I have a platter with my homemade decorated Easter cookies {bunnies and eggs) and homemade chocolate covered eggs (butter cream; peanut butter). The cookies and eggs are nestled on Easter grass. I fill in the spaces with jelly beans and assorted Easter candies. Everyone has their favorite choices from the platter.
Our favorite Easter desert is the Alaska Bomb……….
What a way to start the day with your wonderful Easter tables and food ideas. It is foggy here today so this is a very welcome sight. I have been making bunny salads since I was a child. My Mom got me a Betty Crocker 1955 children’s cookbook and it gave the instructions to assemble the cutest bunny salad. A leaf of lettuce on Mom’s best china with a canned pear half on top, cherry piece for his nose, raisins for his eyes, cottage cheese for his tail, and almonds for ears. I was always so happy to serve this at Easter. I still make a whole plate of these to our family for Easter. Thank you for all of your tables and food ideas. It is fun to make old and new memories. By the way I am in my late 60’s, but I still love to play.
Janet, I think that I had that same Betty Crocker children’s cookbook in the 1950’s. I have no idea what happened to the cookbook, but now that you describe it, I think I remember that salad. As a grandma, I will have to do some web searching and see if I can find a photo of the salad,. I know two little boys who would love finding that on the table. Thank you for a lovely memory. Marie
I pinned the photo of the tiered tray filled with Easter goodies. The tray is so festive. I am going to look for one on my next shopping trip.
I think our favorite Spring or Easter dessert is strawberry shortcake made with homemade angel food cake and fresh strawberries. It seems like Spring is here when we can get those strawberries.
Love all your beautiful spring tablescapes! Spring is such a time of renewal and all things beautiful again! The floral runner and cabbage floral centerpieces are all the heart eyes! Love me some Tulips & Hydrangeas and the freshness they bring to the table! Ready to set the table with all the floral things and of course the cute bunnies! Our fav dessert is always angel food cake with fresh strawberries, my grandmother was diabetic and it was always made from scratch without all the sugar…probably a bonus after all the candy the bunny left us on Easter! Happy Spring!
Our favorite spring and Easter dessert is lemon poke cake. I use a whipped cream frosting on it and decorate with colored coconut. Lemon is always fresh and seems perfect for a “wake up for spring” dessert.
Your tablescapes are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. In my family there’s a tie for the favorite desert: carrot cake and coconut cake. I lean more towards the carrot cake side, but always leave room for both. 😊
Our favorite spring and Easter dessert is a lemon poke cake. I frost it with a whipped cream frosting and sprinkle it with colored coconut. The lemon seems to brighten up everything and is a real “wake up to spring” dessert.

One thing we must have on the Easter table is Spring Green jello salad! Lime jello, applesauce, and 7up, with a cream cheese frosting! It’s been tradition for all my life.
Hands down (or bunny ears up) our favorite Easter dessert is Pineapple Upside Down Cake. We usually have ham at dinner and the pineapple is a great compliment to it.
Oh my….lemon blossoms (Paula Dean), almond pound cake, and sugar cookie fruit cups – all of them! Your tables are so full of so many beautiful details, Mary. I hope you know how much you inspire. Thanks for the dish opportunity. My fetish isn’t going away anytime soon, there’s always another storage unit waiting to be filled. ;)

Beautiful round-up of spring and Easter tables! Mary, I am so ready for spring and bunnies. Since I love all desserts, it is a hard choice. For Easter lunch, I often make lemon cheesecake, a recipe from my mom! Happy Wednesday!
Your tables-capes are always so beautiful for every holiday and season. One year for Easter, I made individual Bundt cakes decorated with drizzled icing and placed them on a bed of green coconut. Scattered a few jelly beans on the side with miniature chocolate bunny and set them on top of a glass Pedestaled stand and cloche at each place setting. My family loved them. They were almost too pretty to eat. 😬
Your Blog is a great inspiration, so I think I’ll go all out again this Easter. My 11 year old granddaughter loves to bake, so we will create an Easter table-scape together. What a great memory for her (both of us).
Thank you, as always, for sharing your talent with your readers.
Blessings,
Vicki

What a beautiful array of Easter/Spring tables! I can’t pick a favorite but I do like dining outside somI pinned the AlFresco Dining picture to my Outdoor Dining Pinterest Board.
I enjoy Lemon Lush at Easter. A butter flour crust with a cream cheese layer then Lemon Pudding layer then cool whipmon top!
*cool whip on top.
We loved the floral Medow table scape, with it’s lovely soft pastels. I enjoy making family’s favorite Key Lime Pie for Spring/Easter Celebrations.

Hi Mary. I think my family’s favorite Easter dessert are my homemade decorated sugar cookies. I have collected all different holiday and occasion cookie cutters through the years and especially on Easter it’s the first thing they look for ! I think it’s all the beautiful springy colors. Your post made me just long for a beautiful spring day. Hugs, Dorinda
Almond cake with lemon curd and strawberries & blueberries. Hard to imagine Spring when we have mounds of snow. Patience.

Hi Mary – I pinned the beautiful picture of the flower arrangement using the green cabbage as a vase to my Easter Brunch Board on Pinterest. I hope to make one this year for our brunch. It’s so pretty! Hugs, Dorinda
Your posts are always so inspiring! I love the arrangement in the cabbage! What a great idea for a spring table centerpiece. My family’s favorite Easter desserts are coconut cake and vanilla wafer and banana pudding. LOVE the bunny plates and would love to add those to an Easter tablescape. Thanks for your generous give-away!! Happy Spring!
My mom always made a 4 layered coconut cake for Easter. It aged in the refrigerator for 3 days. I love it but I think she liked it because it could be made ahead of time. I got out my spring/Easter stuff yesterday. I bought myself a big rabbit for a toss pillow instead of a regular pillow. The grands will love him.
Mary, A lovely Easter round up! I was reviewing my Easter board last evening and admiring so many of your Easter inspirations. However, this morning you shared more that I pinned today-the new plates and the potting shed green plates. I’m ready for spring without the showers! Have a great day! Clara ♥️
My favorite Easter desserts are totally from scratch coconut and milk chocolate meringue pies, my grandmother’s recipes. Clara ♥️
Thank you so much for these great ideas and inspiration! Looking forward to Easter, spring, and flowers.
I guess our favorite would have to be chocolate pie…with a close second being lemon delight.
Such sweet plates. I love bunnies !
Your tablescapes are always so beautiful. I especially like the bunny pushing the cart full of flowers. We enjoy several different treats for Easter. Decorated sugar cookies, carrot cake, lemon bars. Can’t wait for Spring! Trish
Thank you for such a lovely giveaway opportunity! Your blog really inspires me to Spring ahead and start thinking of Easter! Our family loves strawberry shortcake for a special Easter dessert.
Every Easter the one dish that is a staple is Watergate Salad. It’s an old-fashioned dish that has a wonderful pastel green color for Easter, but my family loves the salad and we cannot have Easter lunch without it.
My Grandmother’s strawberry pie is always the favorite as soon as the strawberries become available in the Spring. Pinned, subscribed. Thanks Mary!
The bunny plates are beautiful! If I win they will be gifted to my 7 yr old granddaughter who loves bunnies! A favorite Easter dessert is anything with coconut…most often a cake in the shape of the Easter Bunny which the granddaughters love! (…and which my own grandma made when I was young!) Spring is just beginning here in the Pacific NW and your Easter tablescapes have me yearning for warmer days as I enjoy my first daffodils.
My favorite Spring dessert has to be fresh strawberry cake that my mom makes, followed by her fresh coconut cake. Either would be beautiful served on those bunny salad plates!
Your BLOG is AMAZING. I’ve been a fan for years!!! My family Easter/Spring staples are Deviled Eggs, Ham, Bunny Cupcakes and Carrot Patch Dirt Pudding Cups with the Orange Chocolate covered Strawberries. We have 8 grandchildren (and one on the way) so this family can EAT!!!!

Our must have Easter dessert is a home made coconut cake covered in fluffy white coconut and served with green lime sherbet and a few colorful jelly beans ….so pretty and so good! And…thank you for this chance to win the cute bunny plates.
Be still my heart! You made me feel Spring is just around the corner. Thank you. Also, for most of my years of teaching I had a classroom bunny as a pet, so anything bunny just melts my heart. As for desserts, strawberry-rhubarb pie is a must and also a strawberry cream cake that is my own creation and always asked for by friends and family.
My favorite spring dessert is banana pudding although I love it year-round! I’m curious, where do you store all your glassware? I have so much, it is in a shed, my attic, on metal shelving in my dinning room. I’m quite certain you have way more than me which is why I love your blog!
Pinned your spring and Easter desserts, will be definitely trying a few new ones to go along with my Easter egg cheesecake that I make every year.
Spring desserts are so plentiful that it is hard to pick just one. I think of my grandmothers coconut cake, strawberry pie, Key lime pie, old fashioned homemade ice cream, the list could go on and on. I guess I will have to pick my favorite springtime dessert as banana pudding… YUM! Any dessert served on a spring table inspired by you, Mary, will be delicious!:) Your centerpiece with hydrangeas, eggs and greenery has been pinned as my spring time table inspiration! Thank you. You never disappoint.
I have fond memories of my Nana making a coconut layer cake using the coconut milk in the recipe and grating the coconut to top the frosting. Although I have many of her recipes, I do not have this one, so I recreate it as best I can. It makes a beautiful cake with some bunnies on top. Oh, and I have a huge weakness for peeps!
We are a house divided- some of them love pineapple upside cake, I love tiramisu :)
Thanks for your amazing inspiration and this opportunity! Carmen
We keep it simple and delicious – a chocolate cake decorated with leftover Easter candy. Pinned you cabbage flower arrangement !

The perfect post for rainy day, thank you. Having been so very lucky to win your last give away, I can give hope to all the people “hopping” to win those bunny plates. Mary, my name doesn’t need to go in the running for the plates since I was the last winner, but I did in fact see those plates the other day in HG and wondered if they would hop on one of your tables. I look forward to seeing what other beautiful flowers and tables you will share with us between now and Easter. Thank you again, Marie
Oh Mary, I am going to try to do that cabbage centerpiece sometime. It is just so pretty! I don’t need entered in the generous giveaway, but my family loves my peanut butter Easter eggs and my coconut cake. I’ll definitely be making your bunny bark again. It’s so addictive!
Loved all the tablescapes! I’m patiently waiting for Spring, but getting all my Spring/St. Patrick’s items out of storage now. I pinned the Tulips & Hydrangeas arrangement so pretty. A favorite dessert is chocolate cake with a chocolate buttercream icing!

Mary, Thank you for taking the time to do a spring roundup! Thank you, too, for a lovely giveaway!
Our family’s favorite spring dessert is Lemon Squares, a recipe I received from a friend nearly fifty years ago. It is very similar to your Rosemary Lemon Bars, though makes a smaller batch without
The rosemary. I’ll have to try your recipe since I have a little pot of rosemary growing on my windowsill. It’s such an easy recipe and requires only one bowl, a few utensils, and the baking pan.
My family enjoys cupcakes with green coconut flakes and jelly beans on top.
Mary, I also pinned a few pins from “Gardening with Bunnies”. I’m trying to limit my pinning to three per post. I’m always so delighted with your posts that I want to save each image. I tried to save the photo of the place setting featuring a giveaway bunny but couldn’t get it to save. Another favorite photo is of your three tiered server with Easter/Spring items. I had saved it previously to do an arrangement on a three tiered server I found at Target a number of years ago. Happy Spring to you!

Fresh homemade coconut cake. Nothing like it. Buying the coconut, cracking it, picking the meat out and grating it. It’s time consuming but it’s a beauty and taste as good as it looks.
Your tablescapes are absolutely beautiful and inspirational. I can’t wait for spring as I gaze at the snow falling outside. I honor my mother-in-law by making her Italian Easter bread and honor my family by baking a cake in a lamb mold and decorated with a buttercream icing and coconut.

Hands down our favorite Easter dessert is my homemade Carrot Cake. I have carrots in my garden all winter long that I cover with straw so I dig some of those babies up and bake two 9 x 13 cakes that I stack and frost with a rich very buttery not too sweet whipped cream cheese frosting. So moist and melt in your mouth goodness. I would love to serve that up on those bunny plates…lol. Thanks for another beautiful post Mary.
Bunnies are definitely my thing….my sister counted over 40 in my house last Easter. I pinned almost all of your tablescapes……how could I not….lol.

I pinned all the photos in my Spring and Easter Tablescapes to many to love. Thank you so much for all the wonderful ideas. Can’t wait for spring to come also even though here in the mountains of NC winter overall has been: today its winter, today its spring, lol so confusing weather this year.

Our family usually has a delicious coconut cake but we also have, which can BE a dessert but we treat it as a side, is something which I’ve never found another family who knows what it is but its been in our family for as long as anyone can remember and is called Cracker Pudding. It’s somewhat like a Vanilla Pudding with Coconut. But its not that simple. It’s made with “water crackers” if you know what they are. Oyster crackers will also work. It must be a bland, without salt, cracker. It is made in a double boiler and is SO delicious. It’s delicious warm and more on the thinner side, like a warm pudding or cold and it significantly sets, even more than actual pudding. It could almost be sliced if someone wanted to do so. But when its made, it won’t last more than a few hours in the house. My mom makes it more than just Easter. It’s a very special family favorite.
Southern Pecan a Pie is always a favorite! When the kids were younger, I used to make a bunny cake which they loved.
Our family’s favorite dessert to serve on Easter is lemon meringue pie! 🍋🍋
We are the House Divided for Easter desserts. I love Lemon Buttermilk icebox pie and Mr. Wonderful always asks for Carrot Cake. I make Martha’s sugar cookies and have a blast rolling them out into bunny, chick and egg shapes and decorating with icing. Btw, does Sweet Potato Souffle count as dessert? My brother always eats a bowl after our meal with vanilla ice cream! I am now a happy subscriber via email after 5+ years of checking in every day to see a new post. Love from Asheville…🍋🥕🐤🐰
I love to make a bunny cake for the grandkids. I have a cake mold so it is easy. Their faces light up when they see it! We also make cupcakes that they can decorate. Such fun!
Favorite spring dessert is Ina Garden’s lemon bars…so good!
Our favorite spring dessert is Carrot Cake!
My family’s favorite dessert for Easter (or any holiday) is Trifle. Strawberries or raspberries with cake, pudding, jam, etc. makes a wonderful and not-too-heavy dessert.
