This Way to Trick or Treating Halloween Tablescape

With Halloween a few weeks away,

I’m at the table with some tricks & treats!

Black and white plates are paired with checks

 for a festive foundation and Happy Haunting!

 A pumpkin and a wreath of orange berries

was scared up from the aisles of HomeGoods,

one of my favorite haunts, to place in an urn

 for an easy centerpiece.

Black mugs at each place setting

are filled with treats of candy eyes,

owls, ghosts and Jack-o’-lanterns~

Attracting the attention of crows

with their shiny foil wrappers~

A four pack of dish towels in a combination

of black, orange, checks and stripes,

are masquerading as napkins at the table.

Octagonal chargers frame square plates

from Mikasa’s Swirl Dinnerware collection.

The stoneware, with its simple, clean lines,

has a combination of

 matte and gloss glazes on each piece.

 And Swirl flatware by Mikasa combines

and contrasts a mirror and frosted finish.

 

Skeletal hands seem a little less sinister

holding a felted wool pumpkin ornaments

found at Target.

Chocolate Dipped & Sprinkled Apples

marry tricks with treats with

chocolate and vanilla flavored bark coating

and a Creepy Sprinkles Lab~

Easy to make for ghosts and goblins!

And a little anatomy and Halloween fun with

Wilton Candy Eyes or Eye(s) of Newt. . .

. . .And Wilton candy bones,

minimal bone setting skills required :)
