This is hilarious, Mary! I was admiring the photo of the ladybug, then scrolled down and laughed out loud! You are right, something beautiful can be scary with just a few tweaks. I need to learn how to photo edit! It seems like fun. Happy Halloween! Linda (wicked witch of the north)
LOVE the spooky and foggy photos. This is my favorite time of the year to enjoy the like while the leaves are at their peak! And what’s with the ladybirds….they’ve taken over Huntsville, AL, and I’ve see a few around here. Yesterday I found about five in my car!!!
that was fabulously fun, i love the natural shots with shoots of fear! you reminded me of the birds, just down the street from us where the movie was shot. great spooky start to the day, love you photos!
Perfectly eery for today! I love the fog and all of the birds who have flown in! Hope you have a fun Halloween. We will be dressing up in a few hours. Always something new to spook the kiddies – think it is gorillas this year! (If hubby picks up the goods!)
You did a fabulous job with those photos! Isn’t it great the things one can do with a photo editing program?! Hope your Halloween Haunting went as per plan?!
Hugs
You even get Mother Nature to stage the perfect Halloween setting! These shots are erie and amazing. Don’t suppose you get many trick or treaters stopping at the pier.
We had fog at Bald Hill, but it was nothing to compare with the fog at Lake Norman, as the waters were channeling Daphne du Maurier. Love your addition of the bats!
What a spookilicious post for Halloween! You can almost feel the moisture on your skin and clothes when you see these photos~ I love all your creepy special effects too! The contrast between the rolling fog and the crisp lines of the structures is wonderfully dramatic!

Somehow I missed this post? I have GOT to take a photography class and learn how to edit pictures, do Picmonkey, do my header etc., etc. I am SO bad. These shots are wonderfully done!!!
Fun pics! Happy Halloween Mary-have a great day:@)
Once again so creative and apparently a genius with a computer also! Happy Halloween! LIsa
Done so well! Happy Halloween!!!
Great effects for some spooky fun!! Happy Halloween!

You are GOOD (treats for you!!) Just amazing how much that looks like “our lake”…the steam/fog rising and the beautiful foliage…ethereal!! franki

Clever, artistic and unique.
I love this post…you are so over the top creative…love the pics and how you embellished them…I love to see fog over the water…so “mystifying”…
Love it. We saw several scenes like this with fog rising off the water as we were heading south from Maine, but there was no stopping for photos.

Love your fog pics. Fog is always interesting to photograph. My best fog picture was at Bennett Springs State Park in MO. My husband was fly fishing.
