In keeping with Holiday Traditions, boughs of holly and berries deck the dinnerware, banded in gold with a red chain border, for a timeless and elegant pattern for the Christmas and holiday season.
Wallace Gold Accent Corsica Flatware makes a debut at our table and a handsome dinner companion, with its smooth handles and textured basket-weave design with gold-plated accents.
Santa’s sleigh stopped at the produce department for a centerpiece for the table. Ornaments in vases from last week’s table are now trimming the tree, replaced with a mixture of seasonal eatings, nuts and fruit~ cranberries, apples, pears clementines~ for a festive and easy centerpiece, and economical when you consider it’s edible!
Mix up Merry Cranberry Salsa~ a light, flavorful appetizer that comes together in 10 minutes for an office or holiday gathering.
Greenery, fruit and nuts make a casual
and natural runner for the table.
Tip:
If you have access to Leyland Cypress, it’s an ideal evergreen to Deck the Halls since it won’t leave a sticky, sappy residue behind on your mantle, stairs, or table.
Santa’s on his way, delivering a napkin and
leaving an ornament as a gift at each place setting.
What a lovely table, Mary. The Leyland Cypress is wonderful…wish we had it here in the northeast. Also love the flatware. It’s a beautiful addition to your tablescape.
Oh Mary, I really REALLY like this Mikasa pattern! Beautifully set table…I’m copying that produce department centerpiece for sure.

This is a beautiful understated pattern and I love it with all the natural elements you have brought together…the traditional fruits and nuts of the season look so elegant in the glass vessels…great tip about the Leyland Cypress, I have always stayed away from greenery for the resin issue~I love the pairing of the china with those sparking napkins and chargers, and the Santa face napkin ring! I made your Cranberry Salsa last year and it was a huge hit~
