Potting Shed Christmas Nesting & Feathering

I’ve feathered my Potting Shed with some holiday nesting materials~ fresh greenery, pine cones and a little plaid for a Merry Potting Shed Christmas!

A live wreath needed some additional feathering, so I cut some berries and Leyland Cypress, to add some fullness and frame to plate on the door in greeting.

And a chickadee flew in to light since

since birds of a feather flock together. . .

A birdhouse is perched in the window box along with magnolia, cedar, cypress, and pine. A tartan ribbon swags through for a little color.

An obelisk has been planted on the porch with berries,

pine garland, and some ribbon for plaid tidings.

A silver gazing ball is nested in a boxwood wreath and perched on top of reproduction olive bucket among some galvanized watering cans.

And wellies are filled and feathered,

decked with greenery, pine cones, berries,

a found bird nest and red trowel.

A vintage rake is layered and feathered

with cypress and pine cones. . .

And more pine cones fill wire

cloches along with red ornaments.

Birds are queued up at feeders this time of year

and an urn is filled with seed~

And gloves filled with greenery and berries

for a little Christmas decoration.

Ball jars are filled with seed and votives

for lanterns on the porch and in planters.
