I was on Food Networks ‘Chopped’ last Tuesday night in the Grandma vs. Grandma. I don’t know if you watch that show but it was a fun experience. Again….wonderful post. Loved every inch of it!!
I love the Irish inspiration. I must try the stout Mac and cheese! If only I could find some gold coins in my back yard to fill those lovely green bell jars!!!

Your use of cabbage as vase is brilliant! Call me a copy cat — there will be as much cabbage on the table as in the colcannon! The Ball Jars are gorgeous! Perfect to serve fizzy patricks or maybe something stronger! Erin go Bragh!
