Wonderful post! Chloe and Gracie are so cute! I love how you dress them up! Their sweaters look awesome on them!! I love the cool crisp fall air!! Hugz Lisa and Bear
Oh what a delightful post, made me smile, sigh… and awww and ooooh…. I love this post and the content within it. the photography is just sublime…and your two darling furbabies…absolutely gorgeous. Well Chloe and Gracie, my fall (or Autumn as it is called in Australia here) favourites are crisp clear mornings, walking and scrunching through jeweled toned fallen leaves, glistening, dewy spider webs and homemade scones with jam and cream served with nice hot cup of tea(in a cup and saucer) of course :)
Absolutely precious furbabies. I love it when they are in your posts. They should have there own facebook page!!! Your photos are gorgeous and you have definitely summed up the wonderous things of fall. Love, love, love this blog…please never leave us! Have a wonderful weekend.
Good morning Gracie and Chloe! Lol:) love the pictures of the two of you! My Bichon loves the cooler weather, too. He also is a snoop when there is a bag on the floor! Mary love the fall pictures.
Have a great weekend!
Mary, Your photos of Chloe and Gracie always put a smile on my face, and the recipes look sooo good. I’m loving it all! Thanks for a perfectly Fall post.
that was adorable, i remember so many of those girlie shots cause they were so dang cute! has fall come your way? still beaching it, i really don’t want to miss my favorite time of the year and you captured the pure essence of the season… heavy sigh~
Chloe and Gracie are some lucky, well loved pups, Mary! Their Top 10 List for what they love about Fall with their adorable pictures just made my morning.
I love your blog, especially Chloe and Gracie. The Bundt cake looks delicious. I’ve saved the recipe because like you, I only make cakes for special occasions.
This is the MOST adorable way to celebrate the season, ever!! The photo of Chloe and Gracie overlooking the orange hued water especially took my breath away! Sweater weather and a muffin sound like a double treat to me, Mary, and I could sit in that chair and gaze at your beautiful lake all day!

Mary, We are in the market for a new camera as ours is terrible. Your photos are gorgeous…would you mind telling me what camera you use? I would so-o-o-o appreciate the help as there are just too many cameras out there and the process takes so long to find the right one. Plus, we really hope to be able to take nice pics of our Grandson’s 1st. birthday party Nov. 9th.
What a wonderful post….just puts you in the fall mood! Love your food styling and the recipes. I have 2 questions:
what are the sliders pictured at the end? and where did you get your plaid blanket? Your blog always gives me so much inspiration!
Mary,
Thank you for this beautiful post. Everytime you post pictures of “the girls” I get teary eyed for my bichon.
They are just darling. Still hot here in Atlanta and I can’t wait for fall to come here.
This is one of my favorite posts. Those precious dogs make everything look great. One of my favorite things about fall is college football and red French Cinderella pumpkins. They are hard to find but beautiful!
I am not a dog person, nor cats, but your dogs are adorable! Went for lunch to a place on the water in Sag Harbor. Didn’t see a sign, but all of a sudden there were 7 tables with dogs. One right in back of us kept shaking and shaking. All of a sudden my friend slaps her ankle, a flea! Won’t be going back there.
Your pictures are just wonderful!
It’s a beach day here in NY. Holding on to every minute of it!
Not much Fall in FL yet but, got to tell you thanks for the caramel apple bar recipe…made it for my husband’s “Support your team” pot luck day @ work. They were amazing…luckily sent them all with him except for 2 bars saved for us for after dinner tonight (with vanilla frozen yogurt to balance out the calories.) Lol!!
What are the plaid plates you used for your picnic? I’ve been wanting some for myself. Love this post. Your dogs’ personalities come through. :) And your picture of the lake with the fall leaves is breathtaking. Thanks for sharing.
This heartwarming, delightful post was just what I needed to see this morning. The girls have the sweetest, most loving expressions when they are looking at their mom (holding the camera). So much love here. The Yorkies send their best!
Gorgeous everything! If fall had not already been my favorite time of the year, your beautiful post today would have cast the deciding vote! Thank’s, Mary, for sharing all your eye candy! Your pets are adorable. My Pom, Stormie, says, “Happy fall, ya’ll!”
Aren’t they the cutest models ever!! They couldn’t be more adorable! I have to say that although they look so fallish in their sweaters, the Halloween collar is my favorite – duh!
I love the things they love, the smell of the leaves and fires, the cool in the air, the baking and craving soups and breads, the sweaters and bringing out the fall clothes. I am going to add putting boots back on and my personal favorite – sweet memories of falling in love at the beginning of fall semester (my absolute favorite and all the others remind me every time of that!!)
You absolutely have the most beautiful blog! Your photography is spot on, and having the cutest doggies as props doesn’t hurt either! I will have to try those cute mini pumpkin pies for sure. You certainly brought Fall to Florida!
~Mary~
Fun post, the girls sure make me giggle, they are so darn cute !! Thanks for sharing your pretty Fall pictures, it sure seems like the favorite season of the year. I love it all, the colors, the smells, and the tastes, except for bees !!!!
Have a super week.

These two little bookends facial expressions are priceless especially when she has her little tongue out like she really is anticipating the food smells they are just way too cute for words (oh should I say Spoiled;?) Susie
Those girls are the cutest things!!!! And they know it! Just like Elle…. But, I can tell you they are better sports about wearing their Halloween Collar than Elle. I haven’t put anything on her in awhile & when I put her pumpkin dress on the other day it was not a happy face!!!!! And she hates her pumpkin costume. She just stands & pouts.
Darling post as always! Enjoy fall as I am like Chloe & Gracie & love it all.
Thanks for the smiles:@) The only thing I might add to the list is a nice roaring fire and big pot of chili!
Such a joyful post with glorious pictures…….loved it and thanks as always for your very special blog!!!!!!!
OMG, these pics are too precious, and professional enough to be in a magazine, I can tell these are two very loved and lucky little darlings.
I love many of the same things – pumpkins, mums, cooler temps and changing leaves. Such a a beautiful post, Mary! Have a blessed weekend!

Hi Bobbi, I have a Nikon D60, it’s older, the current models are new and improved :) Picasa or PicMonkey are free and great for photo editing!
Mary, Thank you so very much! So kind of you to spend the time offering assistance about the camera. Have a lovely day.
