Your photos are great and this post gave me an idea for easter. thanks –
I also happen to have the viburnum snowball bush – but have lime green emerging blooms and they might not be ready in time.
Happy Monday Mary! Other than using the wet floral foam, I have often wondered just how one goes about to contain the flowers in a floral runner…love that method!….Oh how I so envy that huge Viburnum!…I planted a Snowball Viburnum a few years ago at the former house and drove by it the other day just to admire it!…the curation of the runner of flowers is perfection and the thought that went into it the coordination of the colors with the adorable bunny plates is “signature Mary” …. You make us start off our Mondays with a smile and bloom inspiration!!!
This stunning Mary! Thank you for sharing the details of how you created it. I’m pinning for Mother’s Day! Happy Easter! 🐇
Your runner is truly beautiful Mary! Happy Easter Week-enjoy:@)
Just absolutely gorgeous! I enjoy every tutorial you share!
But I must comment on your Snowball Tree… WOW!
Your table is exquisite… a Monday Morning that starts off with such beauty is a marvelous Monday in my books!

Oh, Mary, Your arrangement and table are gorgeous! You have outdone yourself again!!!
Your plate stack is so pretty. Wow, such an ingenious table runner!
Beautiful!
I am drooling over this gorgeous runner Mary! What a feast for the eyes! Beautiful flowers, dishes, table and a fantastic tutorial to go with it. Now, if I’m only brave enough to attempt to create one myself! Thank you so much for the beauty you share. I always love starting my day with HIWTBI! 🚢🐇🌼❤️
Mary, your floral table runner is stunning with your snowballs, hydrangeas, alstroemeria, and eggs! Your tutorials are always the best, so easy to understand with your photos and instructions. The egg bunny plates are so cute and I don’t remember ever seeing them. Beautiful start to my Monday!❤️
So jealous of your snowball! I planted a dozen last year, they are not even leafed out and less than 12″ , I can’t wait for a grown up garden! The runner is beautiful, love the eggs tucked in.
Thank you, I can only imagine how gorgeous your new garden will be in two – three years. Everything will be flowering up a storm :)
Gorgeous!
The table runner is beautiful Mary. You make it look so easy, thank you for sharing the details that go into creating the floral arrangement. Your table is so festive, I love the Mikasa dishes. You brought a smile to my face this morning. Happy Easter and God Bless you!
Oh Mary, this is so beautiful I am almost speechless! The base of your floral runner is such a brilliant idea, and your tutorial and tips are fantastic! I love the pretty pastel eggs tucked in especially…your whole table is a work of art with layer upon layer of Easter pretties, starting with the fabulous cloth and ending with the alternating pink and blue bunny ear napkin rings! I hope you have a wonderful Easter week enjoying all your magnificent blooms! 🌸

Marvelous Mary, that’s my new name for you because of your gift of design. Everything is beautiful.
Oh that snowball bush!!! I just can’t wait to see something like that blooming in my garden. Yesterday we got real snowballs….again. Winter will just not let go in West Michigan. Love seeing Springtime on your blog!
Mary, This is a beautiful table runner! What a wonderful idea and budget friendly too. I pinned it for Easter & for when our hydrangeas bloom. I love your tablescape! The tablecloth is so pretty & the stacked plates are gorgeous! Wishing you a very happy Happy Easter! Clara 🐇💕🌸🌼
What a great post! I have never worked with chicken wire before because I thought it would be difficult to deal with. Having now read this, I am willing to give it a try. Your floral arrangements look beautiful. I also am crazy about that tablecloth! Happy Easter to you and yours, Mary!
Just beautiful how do you keep your Hydrangeas from wilting? Appreciate your post and wonderful vision always.
Hi Terry, Use the alum-dipping method to keep hydrangeas from wilting! Read more here: https://homeiswheretheboatis.net/2018/06/06/majolica-and-hydrangeas-alfresco-table/
Simply elegant~with my favorites – hydrangeas!
What a terrific tip about the Viburnum stem trim! I never would have realized that my snowballs needed a trim before being added to a vase. We’re having a late Spring here so ours are not in bloom quite yet, but I’m already planning on using some for the Ball jar vases for my colleagues (combining two of your ideas!).
I’m loving all your Easter posts! With your pictures as inspiration I purchased all new Easter decorations for our home. Sadly, my husband was cleaning out the garage and thought the piles of large Home Goods bags were trash. Needless to say, there’s a pile of gorgeous Easter decorations somewhere at the local dump. Sigh. I’ll have to live vicariously through your pictures this year!
That flowering runner is just beautiful! I so wish that I could grow viburnum in my climate, but I think it’s a bit too hot here in the summer. Thanks for sharing your lovely ideas!
Mary, this is such a beautiful and ingenious idea–love it! Your table setting is lovely–you always come up with wonderful ideas. Happy spring!
Mary, this is the most perfect Easter/Spring table I can imagine! Hydrangeas are my favorite and they just look lovely in this arrangement. Thank you so much for the tutorial – it is always so helpful!
Hello Mary, I looked high & low last year, and now this year, for the ‘Set of 4 Cookie Stamps’ for Easter. Finally found them on eBay, only 99c & .60 shipping. You used these in your ‘Layered Spring Salad for Easter’. Blessings, Tricia
Absolutely beautiful!! So soft and delicate. This would look so sweet for a baby shower, too. Your dinner plates are divine. Love it!
Well, that is simply beautiful!
How gorgeous – thank you for sharing such beautiful ideas! I just wish my snowball bush was half and full and lush as yours!
Another gorgeous post, Mary! I planted a snowball last year, inspired by your photos of a table setting with all those wonderful blooms as a backdrop. I hope to one day have an outdoor afternoon tea area!
Such a pretty floral display for Easter…love the pastel colors for the whole tablescape! Great tutorial too! Happy Easter Wishes!
Your floral table runner is gorgeous, Mary! I appreciate the clear directions for how to make a similar one. Just wish I had flowers growing in my yard to use.
Happy Easter to you and yours,
Maureen
“Bunny” Williams, huh…xxx franki

Beautiful table, thank you for all your tips! Happy Easter to you!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS EASTER TABLE!! Great ideas for centerpiece too!! I tried the alum dipping method several years ago and it worked great!! HAPPY EASTER and thanks again for useful ideas!! ❤️🐰🐇💐🌼🌸
Our viburnum is just budding now, I can’t wait for the flowers. Your runner is GORGEOUS and thanks for the tutorial. I pinned it for sure. The bunny plates are so pretty, I just did a table with bunny plates too. You are amazingly talented! Have a VERY Happy Easter!!!
Dear Mary – you give me so much inspiration. Your tablescapes are stunning! I so appreciate you giving us the details of how to put your designs together and the fact that it involves simple inexpensive reusable items. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say we can’t thank you enough. I have a quick question – A month or two ago in one of your posts there was a set of plates with baby chicks on them. I thought there were chicks on all four but maybe it was the set from Pottery Barn and there was one chick plate. I tried to look at your pins but I have so many……can you please let me know if you have a set of 4 chick plates and where they are from? Hope I wasn’t dreaming…lol.
Thank you Linda! You weren’t dreaming ;) It was a set of four assorted plates from Pottery Barn on this table: https://homeiswheretheboatis.net/2019/04/11/hopping-down-the-bunny-trail-easter-table-inspiration-centerpieces-and-giveaway/ There was only one chick. They’re on sale now with free shipping with promo code FREESHIP through 4/24: https://www.potterybarn.com/products/hilltop-garden-salad-plate-set-of-4/?isx=0.0.700
Oh My!! This is just so beautiful Mary! You truly created magic on your table with those plastic containers and chicken wire, it is breathtaking!!
