as a special guest joining us for tea today.

We’re celebrating spring with a tea party with bunnies today . . .
choose your favorite teacup!

A Fitz and Floyd Halcyon Rabbit Teapot is a favorite for spring!
It was first introduced in 2003 and is still available 20 years later. . .
it’s not hard to see why with the pretty pansy border and bunny perched on the lid.
You can find it at my Bunnies and Blossoms Spring Tablescape.

We’re sipping English Breakfast New English Teas today.
The vintage-inspired Victorian tea tin is generously sized
and makes for a pretty vase for a flower arrangement for teatime too.

Flower-shaped sugar cubes add a little whimsy and
sweetness to our tea for our tea party!

DIY Flower Sugar Cubes are easy to make, and add a floral note
and nod to spring blooms for a tea party.
These decorative sugar cubes are a fun project and come together with a
hands on time of less than 10 minutes, requiring just three ingredients
and a silicone mold.
Customize your sugar cubes using the molds and colors of your choice
to match your theme, party or holiday!
Omit food coloring if you prefer and add flavor extracts,
like peppermint, rose extract or vanilla, to flavor your sugar and tea!

Store your sugar cubes in an airtight container or jar until ready to use.
Use within two weeks, or keep in the freezer for longer storage.
More details to make your own, including molds found, HERE.

Floral Meadow Salad Plates are served on everybunny’s favorite cabbage leaf plates. . .

The four assorted woodland bunnies in flower-strewn fields
have joined me at the table to celebrate Easter,
and are still available at Williams-Sonoma.

A pansy bunny pitcher was a long ago purchase from HomeGoods
and has hopped to many a table over the years. . .

She’s holding hyacinth blooms in celebration of spring.

Confiserie Heidel Easter Egg-Shaped Tins provide sweet
takeaway favors at each placesetting with Easter on its way!

Help yourself for some sweet treats to enjoy with your tea. . .

Russian Teacakes, also know as Mexican Wedding or Snowball Cookies, are
filled with pecans, covered in confectioners’ sugar, but not overly sweet!

They’re melt-in-your-mouth tender and crumbly like a shortbread cookie.
Find the recipe, HERE.

Mini Strawberry Scones and Lemon Tea Cakes
hopped home with me from the grocery store bakery.

They’re served with a pretty Victorian tart server.
I added a simple vanilla confectioners’ sugar glaze to dress up the scones.

Violas from a garden planter add a pretty floral detail to garnish Lemon Tea Cakes.

Violas / pansies are edible flowers that have a slightly floral-lettuce like flavor.
They’re easily removed for those who prefer to look at them, rather than eat them. :)
As with any edible flower, use only ones that are chemical and pesticide free.

Last but last, macarons from the freezer section of the grocery store
come in a variety of Easter egg-like colors
and in assorted flavors of raspberry, pistachio, vanilla and coffee.

Good Tuesday morning, Mary! I’ll take my tea in the Tiffany blue and pink, please, while I admire the incredible detail on your table! Even with store bought items, you add little flourishes for our visual pleasure, my goodness! The scone drizzle, the pansy garnish, amd even the little sugar flowers on the runner, you truly make photos artwork. The teapots are adorable, both for serving fluid and flowers.it’s so fun to come here and see all the beautiful things, but I also always enjoy all the links to prior posts and sources. Thank you!
Good morning, Mary. So many lovely teacups, I can’t seem to choose one! Halcyon Rabbit Teapot is adorable, Fitz and Floyd remain a favorite! Bunnies playing in fields of flowers is much preferred over them playing in my garden. Hyacinths bring a fragrance to any setting and are perfect in your pansy bunny pitcher. The Heidel egg-shaped tins are a great idea for takeaway favors and who doesn’t love a takeaway! The treats look delicious, I would love a macaron and lemon tea cake with my coffee on this rainy and windy morning.
It is always a pleasure to share tea with you, Mary. Happy Easter 🩵🐰💐
Good morning Mary ~ such a lovely Easter tea time ! I loved the DIY sugar flowers, and I can see making them for bridal showers or baby showers and other holidays too. Up here in northern CT it just doesn’t want to be spring yet but the beautiful spring colors do help ! We have some forsythia blossoms starting to peek out at least. Happy Easter to you ~ Hugs, Dorinda
Wonderful vignettes and great inspiration! A mouthwatering post too… Thank you!

What a beautiful and Happy Easter teatime, Mary! I’m choosing the top left teacup with the flowers and butterflies to go with my treats. I’ve been wanting to make sugar cubes and will have to give this a try. Your F&F teapot is adorable and those cabbage plates with the bunny plates atop are so perfect.
