Create an Easter Treat Candy Board, quick and easy to assemble for last-minute Easter entertaining and sure to satisfy everybunny’s sweet tooth.

I’m hopping down the bunny trail with a last-minute idea for easy Easter entertaining. . .
an Easter Candy and Sweet Treat Board!
🐰 🐣 🍬 🍭 🐇 🐥

If you’ve run out time or energy to bake that carrot cake,
you still have time to make a festive dessert board or tray
using store-bought candy and treats!
Just a little assembly required to customize your dessert board or tray for your Peeps :) . . .🐇 🐥
adding their favorite candy, gummies, chocolate, cookies etc.

Back in the day when we gathered at my mother-in-law’s house for Easter lunch,
there were 17 of us that could easily devour a treat board like this,
with anything leftover going home in goodie bags.
Start with tray or wood board to build your candy/treat board.
I used a wood board for Valentine’s Day version and a Thanksgiving dessert board.

For this Easter version, I started with a pink speckled cookie sheet, I used as a tray.
Going on an Easter candy and treat hunt at the grocery or drug store is as fun as eating!
I picked up candy at Target and HomeGoods.
I always get questions about where I find seasonal and holiday candy.
HomeGoods and TJ Maxx
both have a great selection of candy around the holidays
in their food areas and often times in the check out line ->
it pays to make a purchase. :)

Hersey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Polka Dot Bunnies hopped home with me from Target. . .

The bunnies are nesting in a ramekin of pastel M&Ms. . .

Along with a House of Dorchester wrapped mini chocolate
wishing you a Happy Easter. 🐰

Edible grass was also at Target. I spied the grass at Michaels earlier in the month,
but the store near me was sold out last week.
It looks like it might still be available at Walgreen’s and Walmart.
It serves as a sweet edible nest for candy eggs. . .

Along with Confiserie Heidel Chocolate Bars from HomeGoods.

Easter Chicks Sugar Cookies had recently ‘hatched’ at Target.
🐣 🐥 🐣

It’s not Easter without some Lindt Mini Chocolate Carrots, Bunnies, Chicks or Lambs.

A bunny egg holder sits in the middle of the tray offering speckled jelly beans
and mini Lindt Easter chocolates.

Macarons from the freezer section of the grocery store come
in an array of pastel colors and flavors.

Jelly beans, foiled wrapped chocolate eggs and marshmallow Peeps
round out the candy treat tray to satisfy everybunny’s sweet tooth!

Nicely arranged
So festive and sweet Mary! Thanks for sharing where you found your candy. Hoping to find some edible grass today. 🐇🐣
What a cute arrangement! I’ve never thought about edible grass for a nest – how clever. You’re right, I used to wonder where you got your candy but after years of reading your posts, I now run to HomeGoods! Have a happy Easter!!
Looks very inviting!!! My mother did this every Easter when I was a child way before charcuterie boards….and I’m 78! Now I do this…using a tray or a large basket with a large chocolate bunny as a centerpiece!!
Super cute! I wish my grands were coming for Easter so I could make one of these. Pinning for next year!
Adorable! 🥰 Happy Easter 🐰🐣🐇
Happy and blessed Easter to you and yours Mary ~ what an “Eastery” treat and loving the spring colors 🌷🍭🐰💗 Bunny Hugs, Dorinda
Good morning, Mary! This Easter treat board is so pretty and festive! I know my Easter guests would love it. I always set treats out in candy dishes on my dessert table, but your treat board is a much better idea. Thanks for sharing! I hope you have a happy Easter!
How cute! Thanks for sharing. Happy Easter to you and your family. Clara❤️
How adorable Mary! This would certainly be a big hit at our house, my bunnies could go through that in no time! Thanks for all the sources, love the carrot chocolates, edible grass and those cute chick iced cookies! You need to do one with dog treats 🐾🐾
Jenna
Mary, your Easter goodie boards looks so tempting. Some guilty pleasure for everyone. Love the cute chick cookies. The variety of candy makes for a wonderful Easter dessert. Happy Easter🌸🐰
Oh my goodness, Wow, your ideas are always, always incredible and gorgeous!!
You’re so clever! I love the idea of using the pink cookie sheet. I saw a similar one from Pioneer woman at Walmart in a teal color. At the time I thought it was too cute to bake on! Now I know what to do with it, use it as a serving tray! Thanks for sharing your time and talent. Happy Easter to you and your family! 🐰🐇🐣
Love it! A chickuterie board!!
That made me laugh Sue! 🐥🐣🤣 Happy Easter! 🐇
Haha – that’s awesome – too funny!!!!! : – )
As always, your post was delightful!
Mary, I think I commented earlier. My comment must have gone poof! I love this cute idea rather than baking. The only problem would be my eating the treats before Easter! My grands would love seeing this on the Easter buffet 🩷🩵🐰🐥
I’d be so happy seeing a dessert tray like this, Mary, and so easy and fun, too. It would take care of everybody’s sweet tooth with such an array of treats. That speckled cookie tray is a great idea. Happy Easter to you, Sophie and Lola!
How adorable! Kids of all ages will love this.
Thanks for reminding us to look for Easter Candy at Home Goods and TJ Max. Great tip! This chick cookies are too cute.
Happy Easter to you and yours!
🐰🐥
I love it. I am thinking it was a good thing I didn’t have access to all that candy as a kid.
We must keep Home Goods in business.
Happy Easter to all.
Dear Mary,
May I please come visit for Easter one year? I think I need to do that. What a spread! My grand girl would FLIP over that. In fact when she comes Sunday I may have to show her……because she will never get anything remotely close to that here. YUM x a thousand!!! Have a blessed Easter.
Happy Easter! That would be a dangerous board to have around me! It’s so cute, but those Peeps and other goodies would be way too tempting to last long here. I’ve pinned this for next year. Makes me want to host an Easter party.
Mary, great idea! I would truly be in chocolate heaven with a board like this! Such cute bunny touches and pastel dessert plates are so pretty!
All I gotta say is DANGEROUS! We had an early morn Easter celebration, I am snockered on champagne, I could pull up to your tray on hands and knees a devour it all like a wild animal! I have sugar issues… Sounds like champagne too 😉
