Join me for tea with sunflowers!

We’ve enjoyed some beautiful weather recently with lower humidity . . .

And temperatures in the 80s and upper 70s, perfect for outdoor and lakeside dining.

Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea is my favorite tea!
It’s also Harney & Sons most popular flavored tea . . .
a blend of black teas, three types of cinnamon, orange peel, and sweet cloves.
It has a wonderful aroma and is naturally sweet so sweetener isn’t required.
In addition to a loose tea, it’s also available in tea sachets.

A Sunflower Teapot is a new purchase. I loved the footed design and
bees buzzing on the handle and among the sunflowers.
Sunflower Mugs come with a ceramic tea infuser basket and lid for steeping loose leaf tea.

Sunflowers are the perfect flower to transition from summer to fall
with their sunny yellow rays and warm brown centers.

White embossed sunflower plates provide a contrast to a sunny yellow table runner with quilted sunflowers. . .

And DIY Sunflower Napkin Rings are a blooming addition to the table and easy craft project.

Have a seat and join me for some sweet treats. . .

It’s been cool in the mornings recently, in the 50s, which is a welcome change. . .
it puts me in the mood for warm plaid layers. . .anxious for sweater and fire pit weather!

I was pressed for time and didn’t have time for baking, so I picked up some sweet treats in fall flavors . . .
. . . apple, caramel, maple and pumpkin!

Help yourself to Caramel Apple Blondies, Maple Creme Cookies and Pumpkin Spice Wafer Rolls.

Good morning, Mary ☕️ Tea beside the lake looks so inviting. The water appears calm and peaceful with the cloud reflections. I would enjoy a cup of hot cinnamon spice tea in an adorable sunflower mug. Your new sunflower teapot with its footed design and bees buzzing on the handle and among the sunflowers is charming! Sunflowers are the perfect transitional flower and they always me smile. Your white embossed sunflower plates are so pretty against the bright yellow table runner. Please pass me a caramel apple blondie to go with my morning coffee. Actually, all of the treats look delicious.
We had a little over an inch of rain last week and are still in need of rain. I enjoyed my teatime visit beside the lake this morning. The radar looks menacing, be safe. Happy Tuesday 🌻
Love ☕️🫖tea. Love 🌻. Love 🍁🐿️ fall. Love Homeiswheretheboatis! Thank you for the lovely post!
What a beautiful sunflower patch you’ve created, Mary! I love the new teapot and mugs with built-in infusers! Those blondies look pretty fab too, and I see they’re Private Selection, so I should be able to find them. When you create your dockside settings, it gives the illusion of everything floating on the water, and I love that look. The way you’ve used the plaid tablecloth & textured runner, and layering the white plates is top notch. All the colors of the tectiles are such a pleasing pale. It lets the sunflower arrangement and new teas service really pop. And that water hyacinth garden stool is awesome.
As for Cyclone #8 – it appears it won’t make much of an impact here for us. I sit here this morning wondering when it will ever rain again. And it’s still pretty darn hot. This morning we woke up to 67° (what??!), and it’s only supposed to get to 77, a first cool down. My ground is nothing but cracks except for the circles of watering directly around plants. I’m pretty much done with this gardening season. TIme to clean up.
Over the top! I drink in your table side creations and my soul is refreshed. Thank you.
Mary, what a lovely tea table by the lake. This cooler weather certainly calls for plaid and sunflowers! I’m bee crazy so I really need that teapot!!
Very dry here in NW Ga. Cooler morning temps but hot by afternoon! Come on Fall!!
This is a total delight Mary, you had me at sunflowers! The lakeside setting is beautiful and your sunflower teapot and mugs are so cute! Glad your temps have cooled and you can enjoy your favorite Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea. All the tea time treats look so good and I love the way you have them on the tiered tray within reach on the smaller basket table. I have been thinking of you with that storm coming, I hope you stay safe and dry!

Tea with a lake view is beautiful. Does not get any better than that. Everything looks so pretty. Have a great week. Hugs. Kris
Good morning, Mary! Your sunflower themed tea by the lake is beautiful! I adore sunflowers. They just make you smile! The teapot is so pretty, and the reflection of the clouds in the water create a stunning backdrop. What a lovely spot to enjoy those sweet treats and delicious tea. I have been enjoying that same tea. It smells heavenly when it’s brewing. Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!
Mary, you already know I have sunflower teapot envy. And that the mugs come with their own ceramic tea infuser basket is a sweet bonus. There are many special aspects about sunflowers in general, but to bring them in with darling ceramics is always fun. Great find! We think alike on our tea choice. I keep it stocked year round. It’s so comforting to enjoy a cup anytime of the year. As for the sweet treats, Caramel Apple Blondies, Maple Creme Cookies and Pumpkin Spice Wafer Rolls are now on my shopping list. Yum, yum, yum. I also want to make a pumpkin loaf with maple glaze. It’s such a pretty presentation, and I know it is delicious.
Sitting lakeside on the pier to enjoy this beautiful tea table is perfection. I’m happy you are having cooler temps. The current rain headed your way is frightening, so please stay safe. It’s always a honor and treat to be included on these Tea on Tuesdays posts with you and Pam. Thank you for thinking of me! Happy Tea on Tuesday!
Good morning Mary, a cup of cinnamon spice is a wonderful way of embracing the changing weather. Your new sunflower teapot and mugs are adorable. They go perfectly with your diy sunflower napkin rings. Enjoying a cup of tea and those fabulous treats by the water is so welcoming. Love seeing the fluffy clouds.
What a spirit-lifting table! I love the embroidered sunflower runner and the wicker “table” you used for the 3-tiered stand. Your tables are always so inspiring.
Mary, Your sunflower tea table is beautiful! It’s a nice compilation. The linens blend so well together. Your DIY napkin rings are gorgeous! The sunflower teapot and mugs are adorable as are the plates. The dockside tea table is so inviting. We received over 5″ of rain from last Thursday – this Monday from Francine. Stay safe in the rain Mary. Enjoy your day. Clara❤️
Oh Mary, what I wouldn’t give to be sitting at that lakeside table so perfectly decorated for early autumn with you enjoying that awesome teatime. What a blessing that would be. It’s just lovely.
Oh my goodness, Mary, I can hardly contain myself over this darling sunflower theme. Your new teapot and mugs are too cute, and so are the white plates, and darling napkin rings. The tablecloth under the tiered stand is so pretty too, as is the sunflower pillow. I just put my sunflower decor away and I was sad to do so because I love it so much. I’d love to grab a treat before I leave your pretty outdoor setting. 🌻
Wow, Mary, I am hungry and your treats are all so inviting. Your setting is beautiful and I am amazed at your temps. The lowest temperature we have had is 68 at 5 a.m. I rush out to walk as soon as it is light because it warms up very quickly.
I agree that sunflowers are a great transition to fall. Your sunflower accessories are very artfully styled and eye -catching.
I am ordering some Harvey and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spiced tea right away.
Enjoy the week ahead.
Good afternoon Mary. I am a tad late for tea as I am just back from a cruise to Nova Scotia.
Your new footed Sunflower Teapot is beautiful along with the tea mugs.
Such a beautiful setting you have there for your tea. Your lake views are just gorgeous.
I do love that Hot Cinnamon Tea. One of my favorites.
Thank you for another wonderful Tea on Tuesday!
Thank you for the lovely post! I love sunflowers and pumpkin bread. I was looking for a better pumpkin bread recipe and you provided it! Thank you! I see you all are getting rain. We could sure use some here in Indy. Our county has a no burn order. That’s how dry it is! With all the fields of corn and beans around us, it wouldn’t take much to start one! Send some of that rain our way…🍁🌤️☀️☀️
Mary, I would happily spend hours at your charming sunflower table, enjoying the steaming tea alongside the scrumptious treats. All the special touches would make for a memorable afternoon! I love the tea set, the linens and the gorgeous sunflowers. Hope you have a safe encounter with the storm.
Mary, I just love your new teapot!! Your tablescape is so beautiful on the dock, and I love your tiered tray next to the table. What a gorgeous view!! What an absolutely lovely way to welcome fall!!! Have a great week! Patty
Mary, your sunflower table is so pretty and looks lovely set down by the lake. The new teapot and mugs are adorable and I love your DIY sunflower napkin rings. The hot cinnamon spice tea sounds wonderful (and I’m not even a tea drinker) and all the treats and recipes look absolutely delicious. I hope that PTC #8 didn’t cause any damage. Have a wonderful rest of the week!
What a lovely post! You are killing me with that gorgeous sunflower teapot, and mug with a built-in infuser. I need to keep chanting to myself over and over again, “you don’t need this, you don’t need this.” I’m weak, and pathetic, so soon it may be mine. The apple cinnamon scones look phenomenal. I am definitely going to try those. I am in such a mood for apples and cinnamon. Thanks for the recipe, and all of the eye candy.
