One of the most remarkable and miraculous things about the Ruby-throated Hummingbird is its annual migration.

While a small number of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds will winter in Florida and along the Gulf coast, most embark on a journey of up to 1500 miles over open water in the fall to reach their winter homes in Central America and southern Mexico. Making this incredible non-stop trek twice a year is a true testament to their remarkable strength and determination!

    Please keep tablescaping!
Your stunning tablescapes are the #1 reason I look forward to your blog each week!
Your photography captures your beautiful tables exquisitely!
I believe Google analytics might be a bit skewed- perhaps best explained that readers first and foremost love your blog for the tablescapes, and return several times when they also decide to try a recipe or arrangement you featured.
Thank you for all your posts, but especially the beautiful tablescapes!

Hello Mary! That was a fun read! Life this year was busy with caring for my daughter. And unfortunately, my morning coffee and lingering reads from your wonderful, beautiful, relaxing pages took a back seat for a while. However, when I did finally get a moment or two to sit and read, it was always just what was needed for that precious moment. I have said before, you are a gifted, talented photographer, creative crafter, wonderful baker who shares so many clever tips, and a fabulous gardener. Just keep with what you are doing, don’t skip a beat. You bring great joy to all who read, every single time!
