Mary, rabbit, rabbit and good morning! Your bunny brigade isn’t foolin’ around….they know a good thing when they find it! The irony of the bunnies inside your protective cages of tender plants just cracks me up every time I see the photos. The welcome mat of marching bunnies is an “in your face” testimony to the one walking away with greens in his mouth. I love how, since you can’t beat ’em, you join them. This tabletop in the potting shed is so full of fun. Green, black and white feels so springy, it’s like all the trees’ black barks when its rains, set against white blooms and green leaves & grass. That’s a classic spring image in my mind. All the added color from the floral gloves, tulips and tools make me smile. Oh, how I love spring and your colorbursts. Tell your Mr his carrot crop looks fantastic! The bunny wheelbarrow with radishes is a fun addition to your stash. Thanks so much for sharing your shed and tabletop skill with us for this spring fling. Happy April!

Good morning, Mary. At least some of the bunnies are on the OUTSIDE of the fencing! I so enjoyed your potting shed tablescape this morning. I always get so many inspirations from you. Thanks so much!

Such inspiration! I love all of your bunny goodies, and recognize some of them because I have them, but what really blew my skirt up was that sign that you have. That is phenomenal! You find the most amazing things. I see that it’s from Etsy. Honestly, I never would’ve thought to look for any type of tableware on Etsy. Happy spring, Mary!

Good morning, Mary!!! I am loving your carrot patch!! The little white rabbit pushing the wheelbarrow full of free radishes is just adorable! The colorful garden glove and garden tools complement your bunny plants in such a fun way. It is always such a pleasure to be invited into your garden shed to see what exciting things await us. You have such expressive ways to use a sprinkling can!! I love your creativity. I hope you enjoy the warmer weather and have a beautiful spring🌷🌱🥕👩‍🌾🐇

Good morning Mary! You had me laughing with all of your bunny photos. The bunny brigade is definitely up and running at your house. The photo with the bunny scampering off with a leaf in his mouth is too much! You battle bunnies, and I battle deer. Your tablescape in the potting shed is adorable. Your floral arrangements of tulips and daffodils are so beautiful, and your place setting are so pretty. Speaking of pretty, I adore those floral gardening gloves. That would be a wonderful idea for a ladies luncheon and would make a perfect party favor. I have always loved your potting shed, and having one of my own is on my wishlist. Happy April, sweet friend!

Oh, Mary, where do I begin?! Every detail of your carrot patch setting is absolutely delightful–the sign, the plates, banner, and that darling bunny wheelbarrow dish–LOVE! It’s always a pleasure to pull up a chair to your charming table. Happy spring, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction

Mary your potting shed table is a perfect rendition of Spring. I am always envious of all your beautiful and meaningful signage. (where do you keep them all girl?). I open a door to my office and signage falls down and I have to maneuver to get in the door. 🥰. I agree with Rita, I love the photos of your “rabbit cages”…it is too bad the bunnies can get out. (OK, I know they are for keepin’ out rather than keepin’ in.). You also manage to find the cutest gardening gloves. I have had to resort to “ugly” ones because the prettier floral ones get so dirty. Perhaps one is expected to wash them occasionally??? It is always fun hopping with you because you are such an inspiration. 🐇🐥🐑

Free Bunny Parking! Love it, Mary! Guess you could say that goes with out saying with my own fluffle. Did you see the video of the plant center where the bunny was in among the veggie section enjoying a delicious lunch? It had already eaten almost an entire flat of lettuce. You are generous with your fluffle of wild bunnies!
You have never created a post I didn’t marvel over, but I have to admit that the Potting Shed posts are truly favorites. Great look back at it’s beginning! Of course the black and white theme also delights. I’m working on next weeks MMB post, and my theme is Carrots and Peas, so this post is inspiring new ideas. Thank you!
Happy, Happy Spring to you and your bunnies and the girls too.

Here we are in my favorite potting shed! I just love all you bunnies. I battle bunnies and deer in Pennsylvania.
Your florals of tulips and daffodils are so pretty. The garden tools and gloves are adorable.
I always look forward to see your potting shed. Thank you for inviting us in. Happy Spring! and happy April!

Mary, Your potting shed is bursting with beautiful bunnies inside and out! We definitely are outsmarted by the live ones! They are cunning little creatures! Your bunny salad plates are so fresh looking. The majolica plates are a favorite with the bunny in the middle. The gingham checked mats and napkins are perfectly paired. Your blush color daffodils are beautiful! I love those! The tulips are a gorgeous color as well. I always enjoy, what I call, the traditional daffodils. Our daffodils have been prolific this year. Happy April! Clara❤️

Those pesky rabbits sure do know their way around the garden, don’t they? I love how black and white just sets off patterns and other colors so vividly. I enjoyed your beautiful setting in my favorite potting shed. ❤️

Mary, I love everything you have done here for your farm-fresh carrot patch theme in the potting shed! The bunnies inside the cages nibbling on tender shoots are priceless and I can’t help but smile (sorry). The carrot patch sign is amazing (and perfect for your shed) and I love the banners with carrots and bunnies with the watering can. The plate stack is adorable and I like how the black and white checked placemats and napkins echo the checked bunnies in the sign. The gardening gloves as napkin holders is so creative. Love the bunny hauling fresh veggies in the wheelbarrow too – you always find the cutest things. And where would the garden be without those hardworking bees. It was a pleasure hopping with you as always and wishing you a happy spring and upcoming gardening season!

RABBITS RABBITS!!! We have lots and I don’t mind them until they eat the tops of my newly planted flowers. If you eat the tops, might as well eat the remainder. I always worry the cats & dogs that roam will get the babies and the coyotes!!! 🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇

  18. April 1, 2025 at 5:54 pm

Bravo Mary, love your sweet bunnies. The farm fresh carrot patch sign is darling. Your collection of watering cans is amazing. Adding the fresh veggies must be so tempting to those sweet bunnies. Love the plate stack with the black and white checked placemats, Pier1 scalloped charger, Bordallo Pinheiro salad plates and sweet bunny plates. Clever use if the gardening gloves. Always a pleasure joining you on these fun hops. Happy April.

  19. April 1, 2025 at 6:24 pm

Mary, I am right there with you in the garden. I can almost smell the fresh earthy scent of the carrots covered in dirt and I can taste the sharp heat of the radishes. Such a wonderful Spring/Easter display and setting for two in the potting shed. It had such a coziness about it. The sweet combination of patterns and colors gives an idea that the garden is full of variety and so does the tablesetting. There is plenty of whimsy and playfulness. I love your bold sign that sets the stage for your table for two. Your hanging grapevine and carrot garland is adorable. The photos of your real bunny friends eating up your plantings warms my heart since it is a battle to get them to stay out of a garden. (They can wipe out a lot.) But you take it in stride and embrace their cuteness and incorporate the presence in your setting. Such beautiful charm. Happy Easter, Mary and Peter Cottontail, your neighbor.

Love all your bunny love – but real live bunnies are such a garden pest! So I will sit back and enjoy all your beautiful garden, rabbit and bee things and pray your real bunnies leave your luscious precious gardens alone. : – )

    Sweet post, Mary!!!

  22. April 4, 2025 at 9:44 am

I love that you share your early spring bounty with the bunnies, Mary. They don’t seem to be deterred by the cages around your plants. We share with the local wildlife as well and grow a little extra for them. It’s a pleasure to watch the birds, chipmunks and bunnies all living together in our habitat. Loved the bunny plates you chose for your tablescape. The scalloped green plates are similar to the cabbage plates and the green and white bunny plates are whimsical. So nice to see all the fresh produce that is being shared at your table. Lovely to hop with you again.

Oh man – trying to keep those adorable bunnies out of the new growth certainly is a tricky task! I’ve seen them jump almost 3 feet straight up in the air – pretty hard to defend against! But I love all those darling bunny plates! And your gorgeous spring blooms. How fun to put kale in as greenery! You are so creative! It’s always great to hop with you. Take care and Happy Spring!

  25. April 7, 2025 at 12:32 am

Mary, your bunny set-up in the shed is charming, with all the whimsical garden and bunny touches. I love the bunny plates offset by the black and white checks, and the striking accents of orange in the tulips and carrots. The seed packets are bunny favorites and the bees are garden favorites. My garden has been beleaguered by rabbits (and deer) for the past few years — to the detriment of most of my flowers. Sigh . . . Maybe this year I’ll have more luck. I hope you have a wonderful Spring!

  26. April 7, 2025 at 9:53 am

Oh Mary! What a charming spring tablescape, and set in the potting shed makes it that much more fun! I adore the bunny welcome sign. I always love your creativity, and tucking the napkins into the garden cloth is such a fun and unique way to display them. Your plate settings are so adorable. The fresh veggies make the whole thing come alive and just want to embrace spring (even though we have snow flurries in our forecast!). Our bunnies love to dine on our emerging hosta plants before settling into my raised beds to have their babies. We have 2 Golden retrievers that instantly know when the babies have arrived so we have to put a temporary fence all around the garden to keep them out!

  27. April 7, 2025 at 2:04 pm

Mary, I’m absolutely in love with your Farm Fresh Carrot Patch tablescape! You’ve created such a whimsical world in the potting shed—it’s like stepping into a springtime fairytale. The galvanized tiered stand with the seed packets is pure perfection, and you are always the Queen of layering of textures and colors! Every detail is charming and so full of joy! And those bunnies in your garden are a hoot! My goodness, they’re everywhere!! So adorable though!
