Our common theme for April’s edition of Monday Morning Blooms is Easter,
which is less than 2 weeks away. . .
time to get hopping and pull out the bunnies and eggs in preparation!
🐰 🐣 🐇

We’ve been unseasonably warm for early April, with temps in the 80s last week. . .
Warm enough for alfresco dining, without the dreaded humidity of summer!

Join me and the bunnies at a table by the lake!

A tablecloth with bunnies in shades of blue along the border of the cloth was the inspiration for an Easter blues table . . .

Bunnies are blooming at the table in anticipation of Easter. . .

I used a favorite flower arranging tool, chicken wire, to arrange the flowers and support the stems in the bunny baskets.

Hydrangeas and tulips from the supermarket, are mixed with some garden foliage and early spring blooms. . .

Bridal wreath spirea, small fragrant white flowers snipped from the laurel shrubs, and the last of the Lenten roses, along with some decorative eggs.

Assorted small white bunny dishes sit atop blue and white Johnson Brothers Devon Cottage floral plates.

Fortessa Debutante Glass Goblets offer additional blooms with an embossed floral design in the pressed glassware.
They’re also available in a pretty cornflower blue color.

Egg shells provide mini vases for blooms in bunny egg cups. . .

Wallace Hotel flatware is a favorite flatware pattern. . .
It features five assorted reproduction designs: an Impero dinner fork, Coburg salad fork, William and Mary dinner knife, Federalist dinner spoon and Barocco teaspoon.

Oh, the beauty and power of blue & white! Mary, this table by the lake is so pretty! I think i have that same RR tablecloth, and I love the delicate and tiny blue floral design on the top and the bolder bunnies along the border (and that gorgeous scalloped border). Your plates are so smartly stacked to best show the blues & whites. All the white ceramic bunnies keep the look nice and clean, as do the choice of grocery blooms. I love the overall look. Happy Monday Morning Blooms!
Good morning, Mary! Your lakeside table dressed in blue and white is gorgeous. The bunny tablecloth is a charming foundation for your Johnson Brothers Devon Cottage floral plates. The vivid blue placemats from Ballard add a pop of color against the tablecloth. The bunnies with baskets are adorable holding hydrangeas, tulips, garden foliage, and early spring blooms. I love the idea of egg shell vases holding blooms. I have long admired your Wallace Hotel flatware, I should break down and go ahead and purchase.
Your beautiful and peaceful setting at the lake’s edge is ideal for dining. I would be happy to join you and take in the scenery. It is always a pleasure to join you for flower therapy and Monday Morning Blooms!
Dear Mary you have yet again created a pure sympathy of design, color and light. On a very snowy day in early April, you brought hope for beautiful Spring. Thank you.
All adorable. I especially like the blue/white bunny tablecloth
Mary, Your tablecloth is exquisite! I love the colors, design, and scallops. Your plates are beautiful and your bunnies are full of gorgeous flowers. Lakeside dining this time of year is perfect. We had about a foot of rain over the past 4 days so we’re waterlogged. We’re thankful though that the tornados missed us but sad for the death and destruction they caused all around. It’s nice to see a calm water setting with an inviting bunny table! Enjoy your day. Clara❤️
I love your blue and white Easter table. I usually tend to use pastels on my Easter tables but the blue and white is so striking. Your bunny plates are the cutest.
Good morning, Mary! Wow, how special it is to be lakeside at your charming blue and white table. The RR table linen is totally fabulous and perfect for your plate stack. Blue and white never gets old for me. It always brings smiles with its clean, smart and timeless look. My collection of white ceramic bunny pieces came out and hope to be filled with blooms in the coming week or so. So many options of bunnies around my home. What does that say about me?
It had warmed here, thus our early spring explosion, but the past few days have turned chilly and windy. Perhaps the wind will blow out all the tree pollen and catkins so we can enjoy dining alfresco. Everything is covered with green. I blow it off, but as I work through the spaces, I turn back around and things are immediately turning green again. I give up here for the moment and delight in the fantastic view of your lakeside setting. Something about looking out to a body of water that calms my soul, and it certainly needs a calm retreat these days. I’m going to keep a visual of that calm, peaceful setting front and center as I head into my day. Thank you!
I so enjoy being a part of Monday Morning Blooms. Thank you for including me this month.
Aww, Mary! Blooming bunnies! By the lake and no humidity, too. God bless you this Easter and always. 💕🙏🏻
Mary, your stunning blue and white bunny tablescape is gorgeous with the lake as a background. It is always the perfect outdoor place to be. It looks so warm and inviting and your bunny floral centerpieces are so precious as they are beautiful. The grouping of the bunnies captures attention and one’s heart. So sweet and so pretty. Spring has certainly arrived at your table. Happy Spring.
Love the blue!
So much love here Mary, from your awesome lake view, bunny arrangements and pretty dishes! Anyone would love to be a guest at your table for spring or Easter!
Mary, your lakeside table is gorgeous. I love the crisp blue and white. The bunny tablecloth is so darn cute. A beautiful plate stack with lovely blue and white china. The bunnies are adorable. Spring has arrived.
You are KILLING me with that stunning bunny tablecloth!!! What a fabulous find.
Hi Mary, oh what a GORGEOUS lakeside table! We have had RAIN for the past 7 days! And cold too. I am longing to be able to eat outside. That tablecloth is beautiful and I LOVE the idea of the bunny in the planter of pansies! I am definitely copying that idea. I already have pots full of pansies planted but am going to get more to do this! Thanks for ALWAYS inspiring. Have a beautiful day.
Oh that blue bunny tablecloth is so perfect with your beautiful dishes (I love that pattern, Mary!). Your blooms are showcased so attractively and those goblets fit right into your blooming table. The tiny bunnies with the eggshell cup to hold the flowers are darling. Happy blooms, Mary! 💙 🐰 💙
I love, love, love the blue and white theme of your Easter table! Where did you find the blue wicker chargers! I have blue calico dinnerware that would look so nice placed on these. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you Judy! The blue placemats came from Ballard Designs several years ago.
Oh Mary, this is all so absolutely gorgeous! I am swooning over the blue and white bunny tablecloth. It is a showstopper! The blue wicker charger plates are so striking with your pretty china. Your bunnies are precious holding your gorgeous bouquets. Happy Monday!
Weird I had to go to your email front notice page to be able to comment this time.
Mary, this post just brought so many smiles to my face. That tablescape and all the bunnies and florals are just so perfect!
Just all so beautiful!
Mary, beautiful blue, white and bunny table! Such a gorgeous setting by the lake. The bunny pots are so cute. Would love to have those for my Easter table!
A gorgeous lake side Easter table in that classic and so beloved blue and white is always a good idea. When it’s created by YOU, Mary, it moves into the spectacular! The bunny tablecloth is such a sweet base for your Johnson Brothers Devon Cottage floral plates.
I love the bunnies with baskets, they’re perfect for your hydrangeas, tulips, and early spring blooms. What a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner! I would love to join you there, and just relax amidst your gorgeous scenery Mary. It’s always a pleasure to join you for our beloved Monday Morning Blooms! xo Lidy
💙💙💙love this!!! Your blue bunny table cloth was begging to be put by the lake and topped with so many beautiful pieces!!! Such a beautiful table and setting!!!💙💙💙
WOW!!! I love that collection of rabbits! They sure made a beautiful display!!! 🐇✝️🌷🪻🐇✝️🌷🪻
Mary, your table is stunning! Blue and white is always so classic and elegant. I’m on the search for that tablecloth which really ties everything together. What a beautiful setting against your blue water. Thank you for making my day a little bit brighter.
I am late for lunch at your lakeside view. My apologies.
Your table is dressed so beautifully with bunnies. The blue and white is always so stunning. But then add glorious flowers and that lake view! It’s a WOW!
Thank you for your inspiration!
Mary, did you make the blue speckled eggs? They are beautiful!
Hi Pinky, No, I didn’t. I found them at Target several years ago. Thank you for your visit, hope you are well! ♥
Beautiful table setting Mary, especially overlooking the lake. So serene and peaceful. I love the blue and white theme and all the bunnies bearing flowers – those hydrangeas are gorgeous and how great that you have some early blooms to clip from the garden! The plate stack is so pretty on the blue chargers and love the bunny plates on top – I have some of those too and they are a bit challenging to store lol. So happy for you and your lovely weather – we are still inching into spring here. Happy Thursday!
