A Spooky Incarnation~ Haunted Lanterns
I slipped a piece of glass out of the tab holders in my lantern to use as a template, but you could always make a cardboard template if your glass won’t slip out or are afraid of breaking it.

Your lanterns turned out great Mary! Love the bird seed in the bottom too! Looks like you’re all set for Halloween:@)
Spooktacular lanterns, Mary. Very clever, my friend!
xo,
Ricki Jill
I’m with Ricki — Spooktacular!!!! YeeHaw!
I love the black & white check cloth and the orange polka dot paper, keeps it from being too scary! Great combination of materials and imagination, and very INSPIRING as always! I have lantern envy!
Oh I love love love this idea! Very clever and resourceful! I want to Copy Kat everything you do!!!
Mary…the lanterns are fantastic…what a terrific idea. I am loving the “not so scary Halloween decor”…Just love how versatile the PB lanterns are…I always love seeing how you dress them up for each season and your tablescapes….
I love your spooktacular transformation of the lanterns. Great job.
What a great idea, and those papers are fantastic. I particularly like the skull and bat as they would match the spooky plates that I bought from Pottery Barn last year. I just pulled my lantern out of storage and was contemplating what to do with it. Clever!
I love your idea. Your lanterns are amazing! They turned out fantastic! Thanks for sharing your ideas.
This is SUPER DUPER COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m not saying I’m going to steal this idea…but I am! :-) Love it!!!
Hi Mary, Yep your lanterns have been around and very beautifully I might add. I love this idea and they look spooky and perfectly dressed for Halloween. I must do something with mine now! Thanks for the idea….
Your pretty lanterns didn’t spook me, Mary. They are too cute to be scary! You decorate beautifully no matter the occasion. Thank you so much for coming to my new blog. ———-Shannon
What a fun idea! You are so creative and I love all of your details and that those lanterns change for every season :)
Awesome idea! When I am too tired for creativity, I can always borrow some of yours! Thanks for sharing.
The lanterns of yours are pretty versatile. How clever of you!
Well, I would love to copy cat this but I know I will NOT get to a craft store in the near future:) Still unpacking and will be for the forseeable future:):) LOVE this. XO, Pinky
Creative and clever! Love the way you change these lanterns to fit the season or the theme. This latest idea is really clever.
Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite DIY holiday ideas. I love the way this turned out!
I am going to have to find those papers. These are fabulous!
Hi Mary!
I love lanterns. AND I love what you did with all of them. :)
Have a great week!
